Vocelli Pizza

We ordered a 3 salads from this location and needless to say SAD, SAD, SAD. McDonalds salad were better. Will not order from this location again.

Margarita pizza — Crust is good, but the rest doesn’t taste like much of anything which doesn’t make sense! It has strips of basil on it, but I tasted no basil. Ended up adding a lot of garlic powder so that it wouldn’t go to waste.

This review is more for the management than the food. I ordered off of the beyondmenu app, there was a coupon for two small pizzas for $ 14.99. About 10 minutes after I get the conformation email I receive a message that I need to contact the restaurant. The manager tells me that he canceled my order and that I need to contact the company I ordered through to get my money back. He would not honor the coupon, and kept complaining that the ordering company charged to much money for him to go though with my order.

Where to start… Pizza and the rolls were delicious! The first few orders when they arrived in a timely manner and were hot. Then things changed delivery took longer then acceptable (over an hour) everything was cold, toppings were messed up, garlic on the rolls sparse, no apologizes or anything from management. I called to see if there was a shift in management or something and the guy was like no, you live kinda far, I’ll talk to the driver… If I live too far don’t accept my delivery. They have the potential to be great maybe not the motivation or staff.

Great pizzas and pasta. I ordered deluxe pizza and it was delicious. Quick delivery as well

Surprised this place had such bad reviews… Visiting from out of town really enjoyed their food… Great service delicious especially the chicken rolls. Thin crust pizza was awesome too… I’ll be here for 2 week… I’ll probably be back!

Ordered sunday at 1:00 pm. Recieved cold sunday at 2:10 pm. Never defy Unilocal reviews, it will ALWAYS end poorly. If you do decide to go against the rating, do not tip in advance. I live .2 miles away.

Awful. I moved and since this is the closest one to me for delivery I had to go with them. Rose Hill Vocellis does not compare to the one on Richmond Highway near Fort Belvoir. Rose Hill’s pepperoni Vocelli rolls barely have any pepperoni and their regular cheese pizza barely have any cheese on it. I ordered from them one time before and thought maybe it was just a bad day but twice now and food still awful. They’re not using any ingredients so I feel ripped off as they are basically just serving you dough! Richmond Highway was the first Vocellis I went to and they were so good I thought the other locations would be as well but obviously I was wrong. If you can pick up at the Richmond Highway, Fort Belvoir location go there because their food is way better. Not to mention that delivery took over an hour and 10 minutes. Bad food and bad customer service.

Ordered from Eat24. The restaurant got the wrong apartment number and wrong phone number. So it took 2 hours to get my food. Which was cold and disgusting when we finally got it. The delivery man also tried to blame me for the websites issues. Never ordering from here again.

I had gotten food from here years ago, and remembered not liking it, but when my wife got some coupons recently we decided to give them another try. Well, now I remember why I don’t like them. The pizza was VERY skimpy on toppings, except for too much of the insipidly sweet sauce (blech!). The pasta (chicken alfredo) tasted OK — according to my wife — but there was barely any sauce on it, and precious little chicken. It might be just this location though, as I remember getting Vocelli’s a couple of times at work in Reston, and the pizza there being reasonably good. Oh, well. Still in search of decent pizza in Rose Hill. Too bad the zpizza on rt 1 closed.

I walked in and ordered a steak sub and also got a 16 oz Pepsi with it. The sub was 7.99, drink 1.50. She tells me my total is 11.57. Didn’t add up. Charged me for a 2 liter. Had to let her know that I was not getting a 2 liter. Got home, uhggggg… worst steak sub ever. Barely any steak, mushroom or red onions. Dry as heck, hardly any mayo. Could have gotten a better Italian steak sub next door at Subway. Very shady place

Refuses to offer Unilocal deal which I already paid for in my card. Says «we dont make that much on these». Does same to groupons based on reviews. Cashier actually let out a deeply annoyed sign while calling manager. Customer service fails again. Why choose to offer a Unilocal deal?
Employees of the store are also posting phony 5 star reviews to boost their rating as actual customers seem to me less generous with ratings.
Pizza isn’t Horrible like little ceasars but due to lack of service I’ll avoid this place.

THIS IS THE BEST PIZZA EVER!!! They are also INCREDIBLY fast when delivering your pizza (even though we live in the Rose Hill neighborhood, this place is still faster than other pizza places around our neighborhood). I personally recommend the chicken pesto pizza and the cheese bread they sell. So delicious!

WORST CUSTOMOR SERVICE EVER EXPERIENCED.
I went in for carryout around 5pm on 3÷19÷15. before placing the order, i mentioned that I have a groupon to use. cashier then said that I need to print out the groupon voucher. I showed her that i’m following the instruction which states that I can used the app or a printout. she then said that I need to wait for the manager who’s coming in 10mins. while waiting for the manager, she showed the list of people who purchased the groupon on which my name was there. so I asked her why couldn’t she just look at the voucher on my phone and crossed my name off from the list since she mentioned that they are concerned about people using the groupon multiple times. but she still said I have to talk to the manager. I also showed her how to use the groupon app, which use an mark it as used after using it then i can’t no longer use it… still it didn’t help. finally the manager showed up. He said very sternly I have to print it out. I said it didn’t state anywhere that I have to do that… but he didn’t care nor wanted to listen. He said that’s a problem with me and groupon. He didn’t want to see the voucher on my phone nor the list where my name is on there… he kept saying I can’t use it… at this point i was so upset, actually extremely shocked of their ignorance. it’s beyond my imagination how foolish they are that printouts will prevent people from using the same groupon multiple times… in fact printout will be worse since they can print out multiple copies… I asked how can you do this to customer and that I already purchased a right to get a pizza from here. he then said I didn’t pay to them and I paid to groupon which he gets money from later at a discounted amount. obviously he wasn’t happy with a deal with groupon but why is he taking it out on customer? and if he’s not happy, why did he do it? I asked isn’t this for advertisement for your restaurant? which he replied by saying no this is not a advertisement.
How foolish is it for a manager to let a new customer who never been to their restaurant walk out extremely angry without even tasting their food?
I don’t care if I wasted my money I used to purchase the groupon but will never visit this place or any other vocelli pizzerias. Furthermore, I’ll share this with everyone that I know that live in the area how crappy this place is.

Friendly phone staff and delicious specialty pizzas! Also, they give you a second regular pizza for a very discounted price — perfect for hungry teenage children! They are right next to the grocery store,… so I can pop in and get last minute groceries and by the time I’m done, the pizza is ready for pick up. Great neighborhood place! Glad they are nearby!

The worst service ever!!! The manager is a rude con man.
He was informed up front that I would be using my Unilocal deal.
At first he told to print the deal. I let him know that I did not live in the area. He said okay next time print the deal. he entered my order. I gave him the Unilocal code. I walked away. A few minutes later I overheard him telling my husband that our order total was $ 22. I interjected and reminded him that the Unilocal code covered our food cost. At that moment he said you can’t use Unilocal on the lunch special. I responded Excuse me you said that I could use Unilocal deal. Now I know why the restaurant was empty.

I’ve been stopping off at this location about once a week for a little over a year now. Everyone there is always friendly and helpful and they’ve gotten to the point where they recognize me and can even start getting my pizza ready when I walk up to the door. Although they are part of a larger chain, it has a very neighborhood feel in their relationships between the staff and the customers.
My pizza is always ready quickly (usually 10 — 15 minutes) and quality is always good. I like their thin crust pizza the best although their regular crust is good too. I’ve also had their salads a few times.
I like their pizza much better than Papa Johns or Pizza Hut.

Ordered based on having decent Unilocal reviews and a Unilocal coupon, instantly regretted it when the girl who took my order gave me attitude about the coupon. When we arrived to pick up the pizza, she almost didn’t take the coupon because it was on a phone even though everyone takes coupons on phones now and the only reason I ordered the pizza was because there was a coupon offered through my Unilocal app on my phone. All the employees, except for Miss Attitude, was sitting around doing nothing. We ordered a thin crust which was like a cracker not only in consistency but also in having a complete lack of flavor. The pizza was cold like it was sitting around for a half hour before being handed to us even though we ordered it on the phone just 10 minutes prior. Also, the sauce was way too sweet. I’ve had better frozen pizza. Do not come here. Not worth the price, not even with a coupon.

I live close to this place and order from here all the time. Delivery is very fast and the pizza is excellent.

So they have one of these in Miami and it was my absolute favorite pizza place in the North Miami area. This Vocelli’s is not the same. I ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and the garlic Romano wings. Both did not give me a reason to return. I feel like they don’t spread the buffalo sauce on the entire pizza; it was all concentrated in the middle. Nasty. I mean I ate it but I definitely will try other locations until I return to Miami. The wings weren’t memorable at all. FAIL.
The pizza was ready by the time I got there and service was fast but I was so disappointed.
