Good food, great service, easy parking. I look forward to going back.

Amazing food but extremely slow service. Every time i go there i end up waiting a half hour for a fork or sometimes even my water and my check. It’s mostly the fork or the check. It just gets annoying.

My family and I have been coming to Burnt Toast for years. The food is good. However, after today, I will never come here again. My husband tried to order breakfast for take out. We usually order take out, as we have a special needs son, and sitting in a crowded restaurant is not something that he can handle. Today, they refused to serve us, to let us order any food. I understand that it is Mother’s day, but we would have been willing to wait longer for our food. We underatand that it is a busy day. We purposely called early, before 7:30 am, but, no, they refused. No exceptions. They have lost a long time customer after today. Additionally, they are in a habit of overcharging for items not served and providing the wrong food, so beware.

Every time we eat here, it’s a pretty great experience. The food is always great and the staff are all good at their job. The stuffed French toast is fantastic!

Huge portions and not your normal breakfast fare. Huge omelets and lots of vegetarian options. Hubby had the breakfast tacos and just thought the chorizo needed a bit more spice, otherwise great. Very friendly staff and it was packed! It happened to be Easter but we were able to get seated at a 2 seater right away!

Have been going here for years. You get a ton of food for a good price! All the servers we’ve ever had are amazing! Even the owner is great. Whenever he is there he checks with most of the customers on their experience.

We placed a huge order for our store location which is Dicks Sporting Goods. They did an amazing job not just taking the order with organization, but making sure everything was correct as well. Hayley B is the person that assisted us on the phone. Not only was a huge order like that ready in 20 minutes but Hayley made sure to stock us up on everything we could possibly need from hot sauces to butter napkins salt the works. She did a great job and the cooks did amazing as well. All the food was fabulous and we will definitely be doing large orders from you in the future as well! Thank you! Husband and I stopped because we both had forgotten to eat one morning recently and we happened to be in the area. Brooke was our server and she was outstanding! Such a warm heart and so kind. She’s meant to be so much more in this world but I was blessed to have crossed paths with her. We had their chicken omelet wrap and my husband had their corned beef hash skillet. We both loved our meals. Service was top notch! Establishment was clean and bright on a rainy afternoon! Really enjoyed our meals and took home leftovers to do it again another day soon! Thanks Brooke for an amazing first visit. We will be back for sure!

Pretty good. But they certainly could use more waiting area space.

It is a shame because it has the potential to be better. The service is slow and the food average. Don’t think I’ll be back. The last time I was there I ordered the half egg salad sandwich with soup. The egg salad was flavorless. I had to add salt and as I was eating my soup and taking more broth out of the bowl I noticed a chip and big crack in the bowl.

This review applies to both locations. The management has sit down talks with you, the hostesses are curteous and quick, and the food is without a doubt 5 star. I’m a breakfast aficionado and I reccomend this place as a, «must eat location» while out in the Northwest suburbs. All the waiters and waitressess are amazing Brandon is a great chef. Brooke was new and still gave the 5 star service I come here for. If you are debating of going anywhere for breakfast then deliberate no longer. Burnt toast is the Northwest suburbs finest. P. s. There is a running gag to tip Edgar regardless of if he was involved in your service or not.

This place is great, we go here for breakfast often. The food is great, service quick and friendly even though there is a crowd. For me at breakfast, coffee is important. Very important… Here it’s hot, in big easy to hold mugs and great tasting… My opening statement said it… This place is great!

My first time here and I was very happy with the food. I have to say, the name of the restaurant, had always kept me away. I mean burnt toast, really. Anyway a friend advised I go and I have always heard good news about the place. We showed up on a Sunday mid morning. Packed! We were only 2, so the wait was reasonable. Fast service, good coffee. I love that, since for me breakfast is only food without good coffee. The food portions were huge! I had seafood egg Benedict. I am a big fan of eggs Benedict. I opted to try something funky. I was not impressed with the size and or temperature of the seafood. It was cold and so small! But the sauce was great! The hash browns, which my dinner partner had go on and on about were perfect! Get them eith the cheese and onions! The bomb! Overall great place, I think next time I will stick to traditional eggs Benedict!

So it’s been a little bit since I’ve eaten here, I ordered their corned beef hash with they over easy eggs and pancakes. There’s something to be said when my meal shows up and my son says those are best looking over easy eggs I’ve seen. Again they never fail to impress on even the simplest things, the quality, service and the atmosphere here is matched by none.

Fantastic Breakfast place. A must try. the servings are HUGE though! Good or bad, you be the judge! Classic favorite of mine is two scrambled eggs with sausage links and a side of hashbrowns with French Toast. The French Toast is gaint! But delicious! A MUST try is the hot chocolate though, it’s basically a dessert!

One of our favorite breakfast spots! They have a wonderful menu selection, yes — the prices are a little higher, but you get what you pay for! Great portions, never had problems with slow service or waiters(they will keep your drinks filled). Tried many different plates, never had anything we didn’t like. I love their coffee bar and selections. If you order a special latte or what not, it’s definitely worth it! Be careful what time you come. There can be a line(if your in a rush). We are a regular and it’s nice to spoil yourself once in a while ;)

As a single guy, I love that they have a bar.(Not an alcoholic type bar [although they do serve mimosas], a bar around the drink prep area) I almost never hafta wait for seating for 1, even when it was Easter and mother’s day, I had a seat within 2 minutes of walking in. Food is great, and you get a LOT of it. So popular, you may need to park on the Meijer’s side. Sitting at the bar also nets you the entrainment of watching the staff interact, which, if you’re by yourself beats the heck out of being bored by yourself.
