A small family practice conveniently located off 75 and McDermott. Dr Kuo takes exceptional care of his patients and gives undivided attention to each one. Ruth, the receptionist and David’s wife, remembers all the patients names. It’s pretty remarkable. They are opened during normal business hours M-​F AND Saturdays from 8 – 12.

This is a terrific family ran family practice. I first took my son here for a weird skin irritation that he developed. From my first phone call to set his appointment to our last steps out of the clinic at the conclusion of his appointment — we were treated with respect and care. Dr. Koa took his time with us, didn’t rush us and even went as far as taking out one of his medical books to show us exactly what was ailing the kiddo, how to treat it and what medications were okay for someone his age to take. Dr. Koa was professional but also joked with us a bit which helped to ease the pressure of the doctor visit.
In fact, Dr. Koa was so kind and efficient that I scheduled a physical for myself. I’m probably the world’s biggest chicken when it comes to doctors visits, but Dr. Koa’s bedside manner and demeanor — that he used with my son — put my mind at ease which encouraged me to take care of my appointment that I had put off for so long due to nerves. Nancy is Dr. Koa’s right hand person behind the scenes. Poor thing had to draw my blood, again I’m a big baby, and she did such a great job that I barely even felt the needle go in my arm. She’s a total sweetheart and is really good with her patients (and patience). She also helped with my son’s appointment. Dr. Koa was there to help calm me down about having my blood drawn — together they helped ease my anxiety and made an unpleasant experience 100% tolerable.
Ruth, runs the office and she’s also wonderful!!! In fact, if my initial call to schedule my son’s appointment didn’t go well, I wouldn’t have visited this practice. She’s helpful, will go out of her way to help get you in when you need to be seen and follows-​up with you the day before your appointment to make sure you know what you need to do and answer any questions.
Bottom line: this is a wonderful, laid-​back family practice. they put my mind at ease and took my anxiety away, and I’m sure they can do that for anyone. They are thorough, NICE, understanding, compassionate and care about what they’re doing at this office.

Best doctor I have ever seen. His wife Ruth and staff are awesome. They care about their patients and are very kind. I highly recommend this doctor.
