Wonderful experience. Needed an inspection for my car. I thought it would take a long time since it was Saturday. I was met driveway. They got me in line and I was out in 15 minutes. They guy who checked me out noticed that I was due for new registration and told me that if I went to Tom Thumb. They will do it in 5 minutes Great Tip.

I stopped in after reading previous reviews to get air fixed. Turns it was something very simple to fix. I will go back again because they easily could have been shady but they were not. Julius was so kind and I appreciate the service.

I start working around the area, my engine light went on and I like to take care my car, right away. So I check Unilocal,call a couple places for oil change and when I call Kwik Car of Allen the person who answer was friendly and eager to help me. When I get there the guys were attentive, helpful and took care my car. Jonathan recommend a couple things that need to be done, he was honest and didnt pressure me or worst exagerate it about the additional services that my car needs. As a woman that doesnt know about car maintenance I really appreciated it. Overall you receive excellent customer service, the waiting room is nice and clean, the whole staff are friendly and pleasant. will go back in 5000 miles Good job guys ! :)

I’ve been bringing my cars here for a while now — they’re great people and provide excellent service.
What makes this place great is after having a tune up — my check engine light came on, I brought it back and they ran diagnostics and re-​checked the entire car at no cost. They even covered the cost of the part because there was no indication of coincidence or error on their part. I’ve never had a company offer to do this.
They have my business for good.

I would’ve given this place one star but I’ve had one pleasant experience here through an oil change from last year. The reason I’m giving Kwik Kar of Allen such a low score is because I went there yesterday to get my inspection sticker changed and they told me they couldn’t because it was raining outside and I would fail the brake test.
So today I decided to take my business elsewhere only to discover at Valvoline Instant Oil Change that what I was told by the Kwik Kar associates was not true. It is still raining today and they were able to inspect my car with no issues.
I can say with certainty that I will not be returning to Kwik Kar of Allen anytime in the near future and neither will anyone else in my family. Dishonesty should never be rewarded.

To be honest to all of you this has been the worst experience of going to a car shop. They are a ripoff and very bad customer service. The other day when i was there the manger had a really bad attitude with me and very grumpy. They told me i had to pay 2,600 $ to change my engine. All i can think of they are nothing but a ripoff. I payed less at another shop and saved 900 $. They actually new how to talk to there customers and respect them. All i have to say is im making sure no one of the people i know will ever go there again.

We were totally ripped off by this place. They told us the parts and labor would be over $ 1500 for our issue. We mentioned taking it somewhere else for a second opinion and they said we wouldn’t be able to find it cheaper and then gave us «$ 200 off labor» to keep us there. They lied about the cost of the part and severely overcharged for labor, even with the 200 off. Two days after we get the car back I spoke to another mechanic who’s been in the business for over 2 decades and currently works at a shop. He informed me the part was less than half of what kwik kar said it was and if we had gone anywhere else the whole job parts and labor would’ve been under 700… Go here if you’re a fan of throwing away money and being lied to.

I had a great experience with Kwik Kar. I went in to have my breaks checked due to some noise they were making. The mechanic was honest enough to tell me that my breaks were fine and were just glazed due to the way that I use them.

All of the technicians are very professional and courteous. They seem to genuinely care about my vehicle and providing excellent service. Another big draw is the upgrades in the waiting room. Now there are comfortable chairs, tons of magazines, HD TV, free WiFi and really good coffee and filter machine for non coffee drinkers. So for oil changes, state inspections and even routine maintenance you can’t go wrong at Kwik Kar of Allen!

I have used Kwik Kar of Allen for several years but under the new ownership of Tim Kaiser I have noticed an immediate improvement. All of the technicians are very professional and courteous. They seem to genuinely care about my truck and providing excellent service. Another big draw is the upgrades in the waiting room. Now there are comfortable chairs, tons of magazines, HD TV and really good coffee. So for oil changes, state inspections and even routine maintenance you can’t go wrong at Kwik Kar of Allen!

So, a couple weeks ago I brought my car here for a regular oil change. Seems pretty simple, right?
To be fair, the oil change was flawless (can you even mess that up?), but the kicker was that the nice gentlemen changing my oil also informed me my front passenger CV axel was busted and in need of replacement. For the car-​ignorant (such as myself), a quick google search revealed the CV axel breaking could be a serious problem, leading to a car that is not safe to drive.
However, the weird thing was that my car didn’t have any of the listed symptoms associated with a busted CV axel (grinding noise when you steer, grease leaking from around the wheel), but who am I to judge? The nice gentleman quoted me a «couple hours» and 180 bucks to fix it. He also told me it was still safe to drive home, so i figured I should get a second opinion.
I took my car to a trusted mechanic (who I’ve used before and my friends family has used for years and recommended me to) to investigate my «busted CV axel». Guess what? My CV axel was perfectly fine and actually «[they] couldn’t fix anything with my car or cars axels even if they wanted to».
What a scam. I called this Kwik Kars manager and the response was essentially «your mechanic is a liar, we are right»
In short, don’t trust this place for anything other than an oil change. And, given how dishonest they are, I would just rather take my business elsewhere.

I brought in both of our cars to have oil changed and state inspections done. First car was done in less than 30 minutes with both. Second car there were a few other patrons so it was closer to 40 minutes. This was a great time saving stop to get all my cars up and running today. Would recommend to anyone needing to save time while getting automotive services completed. I’ll be back!
