History

Established in 1991.

Academy Locksmith, Inc. has been a driving force in the mobile locksmith service market since 1991. Focusing primarily on marketing and locksmith contractor relations, Academy thrived in the pre-​housing crisis world providing locksmith and physical security to many companies and residences. As yellow page advertising revenue and new move in business started to dwindle in the advent of the housing bust, Academy began to shift its focus to commercial loss prevention. More and more the need for a technical division with the ability to perform a large amount of work in house under the Academy umbarela became apparent. In 2011 Academy Locksmith embarked on a new venture, the creation of an actual walk in locksmith shop, and Advanced Integrated Security Solutions was born.

Anthony S.

Manager

Anthony C. Sloat — General Manager — has been in the locksmith business for 20 years. He started initially as a night manager for Interstate Locksmith, Inc. After starting a branch of that company in Chicago he moved to California in the role of operations manager.
