These women are so amazing! They have tailored two bridesmaids dresses for me and also helped me restyle/​rework a dress from a halter to tank straps. The dresses looked amazing, they fit me in on a tight schedule, and they are very affordable. They are also very kind, and as another reviewer wrote, great at making suggestions and helping you figure out what you want. Thank you so much!

It’s a family run business with excellent craftsmanship. I had rocking chair cushions and couch cushions made for a very reasonable price. I was very satisfied with the result. I would go there again in an instant.

I went here just once when I first moved to town. I had to wait several days for a simple hem and when I returned to pick up the pants the girl behind the counter admitted she had forgotten about my order and asked me to wait «a few minutes» so that she could complete the work — no apologies, no discount. I was so put off by the experience that I never returned. I now make the drive to Livonia regularly to a shop there that offers more affordable, friendly, and dependable service (I’m only 5’0 so I have to alter nearly every pair of pants I purchase).

Just phenomenal. Quick, polite, affordable (i.e. the cheapest I’ve found by a long shot), perfect. Very quality work. Best tailors I’ve ever worked with for jeans, suits, a tux and a dress. They’ve even done 1-​day turn arounds for me without extra charges. They are very kind and family run.

W-​G tailors are efficient, helpful and reasonably priced. I’ve taken various items to be altered and have been really pleased with their work– and I thought these were trickier alterations too (taking in the waist on a flowy sundress, shortening a top on a tankini bathing suit, hemming jeans with zippers up the ankle, etc). The owners are really friendly and have great suggestions. Not to mention, they aren’t too expensive. But make sure you bring cash or checkbook (you pay when you pick up the item), as they do not accept credit cards.

I always enjoy coming here. The ladies are friendly, helpful, fast – and competent. I once had something where the fabric turned out to be more difficult to handle than she anticipated and she had to spend much more time getting it right, but the final cost didn’t change. It is easy to park in front of their building.

This is a great place to have clothes altered. It doesn’t look like much but the two women who run it are very friendly, fast, and competent. Most importantly, they are very inexpensive. Especially compared to Sophia’s, a tailor who is egregiously over-​priced, and whose customer service is lacking, to say the least. They have done a pretty good job on everything I’ve given them, (I even had them make me sheets once), however I wouldn’t necessarily give them a wedding dress, or anything that requires very intricate tailoring.
