I have been in the Smog Check industry for over 20yrs. I have specialized in Smog Check inspections and repairs for over 15yrs. Autotek has been leading the charge on the way inspections are performed. We are in constant contact with the state referee, the «Bureau of Automotive Repair», and other licensed Smog Check Technicians to come to industry standard testing proceedures. We feel the customer should get the same Smog Check Inspection at any facility.

Autotek has noticed many Smog Check failures are due to minor wear of hoses, intake tubes, and other specialty hard to find parts. Most of these parts are not exspensive but they are impossible to find. Auto parts stores do not have them. Autotek does a large volume of Smog Inspects so we stock most of these parts. We have 1000’s of small specialty parts in stock to help during the inspection. This eliminates a return trip for the customer and speeds up the entire process making it more efficient and cheaper.
