Sports medicine — We have been treating sports trauma and helping athletes of all levels to prepare for events and recover from fatigue and trauma.

NatureMed Acupuncture operates from this location on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and is also available for Mobile appointments in home or office.

History

Established in 2015.

NatureMed Acupuncture began it’s journey in the field of Sports Medicine, treating athletes and runners.

We then added specializations in pain management and the treatment of chronic conditions — working with physicians to be part of a holistic care plan that includes western medicine with the benefits of acupuncture.

Oleg R.

Business Owner

Oleg Rivkin is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Illinois, having attained a Master’s in Oriental Medicine from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. In addition, he is a National Board Certified Diplomat in Acupuncture, registered with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Holding an undergraduate degree in Nursing, Oleg is highly knowledgeable about the underlying causes and aggravating factors of neuro-​muscular injury and pain. Oleg is also a Licensed Medical Massage therapist in Illinois with more than 28 years of experience.
