Dr Kay is a kind, easy spoken, knowledgable Doctor that worked with me through my carpal tunnel in both wrists. I had several visits and received shots in both wrists that did give me complete relief! Well, until I would over work them and all my symptoms came back. You can’t keep having shots so he sent me to the surgeon (below). My husband and several of our out of town friends now go there for their orthopedic pain management, because he is that good!
Dr Atkinson, the very likable, upbeat, spirited surgeon, will explain every detail of your surgery and what to expect post op. With one wrist done, I am so ready to have the next wrist done. With this fine group of Doctors, you are in good hands!

Terrible!!! Waited two hours to see Dr. Phillips, apparently «he always runs behind.» No one apologized for the wait… and not impressed with the doctor.

This review is LONG overdue. The staff and doctors at Arlington Ortho are first rate. They took care of two total knee replacements for me in 2012 as well as a dislocated shoulder for my wife. Dr. Pollifrone has a wonderful no-​nonsense approach to your care. The physical therapy department is, in my opinion, one of the best in the Dallas/​Fort Worth area. I can’t say enough good about the staff at Arlington Orthopedics. They gave me my life back!

Impeccable orthopedic care for ft worth Arlington area — I broke both my knees in 2013 and didn’t know what happened, just recognized an increase of pain (it was a gradual process as I trained for a 5k marathon) — and doc Berman diagnosed me after thorough exams w X-​ray and the MRI (other docs would have stopped at X-​rays and incorrectly assessed it — my doc and his team were terrific).
Instead of expensive and useless surgery the doc discussed options and put me in leg braces and therapy for 6 months, so I could still walk very slowly, healed up and then after therapy to improve range of motion, while throughout the process he and his nurses were always available if I had issues or challenges — so grateful for great care!

This place is terrible! The waiting room are super crowded and I felt like I was in an emergency room. Not to mention you WILL be waiting 2 hours after your appointment time. I have had chronic lower back pain for over a year. I had to pay $ 350 up front which I was told covered X-​rays. I also brought a cd with my X-​rays but the cd did not work, and they did not even do their own X-​rays on me. What a waste of time and money! This place sucks, the people are rude and they only care about getting your money. This place and the doctors in it don’t give a shit about your pain, and i wasnt prescribed anything for pain, only steroids. When I called a week after explaining that I still had severe pain they wanted me to come in for another appointment and spend more money. Fuck this place, don’t go here!!!

I happen to break my ankle while vacationing in las Vegas for my birthday. We arrived in Las Vegas on May 9^th and I broke my ankle May 10^th. I toughed it out until May 14 in LasVegas wearing a half leg cask… wow some fun! I was referred to Dr. Phillip who was very perfessional and handled my ankle with care. I was very pleased with how he gave me the choice on how to handle my broke ankle which one was including surgery which he suggested. Wonderful doctor! On the other hand his X-​ray staff was terrible. I cant remember the lady name but she’s the oldest lady in the X-​ray lab. First I asked her to be careful while positioning my ankle. Her exact words was I have to turn it. She had no concern. Next my husband was in the room with me. After positioning my ankle to take the picture, she yelled at him while he was sitting in a chair that he needed to leave out. Being the kind of man he is, he left like it didn’t bother him. It bothered me so I told her. Her words were I’m sorry I’m so blunt, that’s just the way I am. She apologized to him and told me it didnt matter how I felt about the way she said it to him because she didn’t say it to me. The old lady was rude, non respectful and had no concern for a patient. She never once apologized to me. I spoke with doctor Phillip and he pretty much said he would address the situation. Other than the X-​ray techs, everyone else was nice and pleasant. I would refer dr. Phillip to anyone!

There are numerous specialists with this practice. My orthopedic surgeon is located over 30 miles away, so I decided to visit this practice given the proximity and recommendation from someone who had shoulder surgery. The orthopedic surgeon that I saw was nothing short of arrogant, rude and could definitely use some training in bedside manners. Let’s assume that he is talented — it does not justify demeaning the patients. He decided that I did not need back surgery at the time, so he said to go and see another doctor (no name or introduction, of course) and that they would call me to schedule a spinal injection. Three days go by … no call. If you’ve ever had back pain, three days is a very long time to wait for a callback, and then who knows how long for the actual appointment. I won’t even mention the exorbitant rates that they charge. I’m happy driving an hour to see my doctor. He’s worth it. I would not recommend the orthopedic surgeon at this practice to anyone.

I am that dumb tourist that goes off on his honeymoon in Hawaii for ten days and breaks his foot… on day 4. Fast forward through the honeymoon and I come back to get things all checked out with Dr. Phil Mycoskie at Arlington Orthopedics.
I went to him based off a personal recommendation… literally everyone in my wife’s family has seen him for something, including my wife. Heck, he grew up and went to high school with my in-​laws. I figure he’s trust worthy, let’s start there. (Oh, and his nephew is Blake of TOM’s shoes… watch the commercials. That guy. If you’re in to the whole celebrity thing…)
At the office I NEVER had to wait. Heck, if I showed up early they let me in early. I had three visits to get this thing all figured out and every time it was quick, on time and even early. Perfect.
The ex-​ray process was just as fast, just as easy. And Dr. Phil is a cool dude, very helpful and glad to answer any questions you might have.
