I was referred to Astoria Lock and safe. Called amd got someone on the phone immidiately. I explained my concerns and Bill provided options and pricing. I made my choice he came in the day/​time agreed and did the work while someone else was there for me. I never got to meet him in person. If you need a no nonsense, quick and professional locksmith I highly recommend.

Courteous, cheerful service, and gave me a direct quote on the phone without beating around the bush. Fixed an issue with door alignment and removed an illegal double cylinder lock (not allowed to have locks that can lock on both the outside and inside of the door in NYC). Speedy, honest work paired with good rapport — would definitely call them again if I have any future issues with my locks!

I called during a busy holiday Saturday and Billy set up an appointment 1500, to which he showed up promptly and did the job expertly and swiftly. He switched the locks that my building didn’t put up and gave a true quote and a ‘Murrican Made Lock. Thanks Billy.

I was in the middle of almost getting ripped off by another locksmith company in Astoria when I decided to call Billy who was recommended by a friend. I knew I should of listened to my friend in the 1^st place but jumped the gun on calling a place I found on the internet offering 24hrs… the quote given by the other guy was extremely high from the moment he arrived and he just seemed dishonest so I decided to call Billy at Astoria Lock & Safe. When I explained all that the other guy said he told me to send the guy away who was clearly being dishonest and not to worry he would be here shortly. I paid the other guy a fee for just showing up and «pretending» to «help me» but was not willing to pay him another cent! Billy showed up with all his special tools and was able to get me in with no problem and charged me half of what the other guy tried to charge! He was professional, honest, and definitely an expert!!! I would refer Astoria Lock & Safe to anyone who is in distress and looking for honest work with an honest fee!!! Had my daughter and four friends ready to go to Great Adventure for the day. Much to my dismay I misplaced the keys to the anti-​theft device attached to the brake peddle of our truck leaving us stranded. As you can imagine everyone was a little upset with me.

Billy has a stellar personality and works out a great deal however I had some reservations about the installation of my security gates. Billy assured me that they can be installed in different ways and if I have concerns he would take care of me because customer satisfaction is paramount. My other home is in VA, this refers to my Astoria house.

I recently moved in to a new apartment and with all of the chaos that moving causes, I totally forgot to arrange for a locksmith to come and install new locks. It was after 5 on Saturday and I was on the phone with Bill from Astoria Lock & Safe. He offered to come at 9:00pm that night but of course, that was too late but then he stated he would come out on Sunday. Even with the horrible rainstorm, he showed up Sunday afternoon, installed new locks in just minutes and the price was so reasonable, I will definitely use their service again! Thank you Bill!!!
