Fantastic local and reliable place — and honest. I just relocated and was considering replacing a bunch of locks, but they told me I didn’t need to and that re-​keying the locks was cheaper and as effective. The shop has been around for a while and many neighbors recommended it as trustworthy and efficient, and I agree. My whole job was done in less than an hour. Highly recommended!

The most professional locksmiths that I have ever met! I was locked out of my house one day and I called these guys to come help me out. Not only did they come immediately, but they had a great attitude that made me feel safe and comfortable. The price was very reasonable also.
I always come to these guys if I need and copies also.

The technician Paul came to my apartment late at night after me and my girlfriend got locked out. About 15 minutes after my call he showed up and was very friendly and helpful. He went over and tried all the options before eventually drilling into my lock. After getting in he didn’t have the right lock combo (at this time it was around 3am) and he showed up early next morning to replace the lock.

I really appreciate the work of the Astoria Locksmith 24 HR Service employees. A few weeks ago when I back home at midnight I realized that my front door lock stuck and I found something inside it. After a few hours of trying to open the door I gave up. I called my friends to ask them to host me that night, but instead of these they referred me to the Astoria Locksmith 24 HR Service. They sent me very professional guy, who put a new lock very fast. And it still works perfect. And surprisingly the service was pretty affordable even night time. Good to know that I have these professional help right away if I need it.

We’ve all been there. It happens to the best of us: that dreadful moment when you realize you locked yourself out of your apartment.
Not surprisingly, none of my roomates were at home that night, and I was quite desperate to get in bed and get some rest.
I called these guys and they were here in no time. Quicker than your average food delivery service. The locksmith was very nice and very friendly, and really knew what he was doing. I recommend this service to anyone who is ever in the same situation, even though locking yourself out sucks, these guys give you the best alternative.

My lock has been jammed this past weekend, so i couldnt go out of my apt, yes i was a prisoner at my apt and couldnt leave.
i Found Astoria Locksmiths on Unilocal and called them right away to come and help me.
Dan said his not in the area but can send his technician and will take him like 20 minutes to come over.
Bill the technician arrive shourtly after we spoke, and was very polite and manage to open the door for us, after needed to drill to the lock.
he had all the parts to replace the broken lock and so we had a new lock and keys to our door.

me and my girlfriend visiting new york, and having a great time. but we had some issue with the lock on our door and couldnt open it last wednesday.
After calling few locksmiths we got no one to answer, and then Dan from Astoria Locksmith came for the rescue! and was able to come within 25 minutes.
It seems like the lock was old and just broke from inside. i was prepare to stay locked out for hours, but Dan just manage to open the door within minutes, and replace the lock for a new one easy and quickly!

The tech came and took one door apart then told me he didn’t realize it was 2 doors
They doubled the price to continue
I immediately called another company and they dropped their price
I told them I wasn’t going to pay the lower price
They then tried to charge me to put the door back together and refused to give their name or any company information

Noah came over to help us in the middle of the night after mistakenly loosing the keys in a cab .
Me and my friend visiting nyc and we didn’t face a similar case before.
Our airbnb manager couldn’t come over but he referred us to some locksmiths on Unilocal,which turn to be very helpful.
Noah arrived within 25 minutes since I called, and was able to pick the lock quickly. He was able to charge us with a debit right at the spot so we didn’t had to find an ATM at 2 am.

My roommate has a habit of forgetting his keys and somehow his habit has rubbed off on me. So one day I get home from work, realize I left my keys on my dresser and that since my roommate was still out of town, I was screwed. That’s where Astoria Locksmith comes in. They were awesome! They worked quickly to have me inside my apartment and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend them.

Oh man Dor just saved our BEHINDS! We have guests staying at our apartment in Astoria that somehow managed to break the lock when locking up this keeping themselves out of the apartment on their return from dinner. They called us in a panic and we, ourselves, were quickly also panicking. Astoria locksmith to the rescue!
Dor got there fast and was extremely patient with my many phone calls to check on what was happening. He went above and beyond, even letting our guests use his cell phone to talk to me (they didn’t have an American cell phone). I would absolutely use these guys again although I obviously hope I won’t have to ;)

Me and my sister just moved to a new apt in queens.
since we had only 1 regular lock, we decide to add an aditional top lock.
we called Astoria Locksmiths and they agreed to send some one over (free of charge) to check our security issues and give us an estimate for a lock installatioin.
within 1 hour i had Natan coming over, and he showed me like 3 type of locks with different secuirity levels. he was extremly nice and seems like he had lots of knowledge with home security.
we decided to go with the high security Multilock dead bolt.
the installation was quick (i would say about 20 – 30 minutes) and it all works great.
im happy i choose this guys to help with my home security, will use them again if i need a locksmith.

Last week I got locked out of my car. They came to my aid in the middle of the night! They were friendly, professional and thorough. They tested both of the 2 new car keys they made in the door and ignition. Since I now have two, I probably won’t be needing to call them again — but that’s the whole point, right? Thank you so much! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I personally recommend them!

They were very reliable and quick about helping me out. I was impressed by how quickly he was able to get me into my locked car, especially with his fair pricing. Staff was friendly and professional. I highly recommend!

I was celebrating my friend’s 21^st birthday at an airbnb somewhere in queens. The place was clean and super nice and we were so excited about spending the weekend together with just friends. We decided to go get some food for everyone, and we carelessly all walked out of the door and forgot the keys!!!
We didn’t have a spare, and the owner of the house was somewhere in Pennsylvania. We tried climbing the fire escape up to each window, but all the windows were locked, we tried kicking the door down but realized that was a dumb decision to do because who’s going to pay for the door when we break through it? And finally we calmed down and called this locksmith. DUH.
They were here within 20 minutes and got the door open super fast!!! They were super friendly and they saved the day!!!

Complete lack of professionalism. They should take courses in business or simple customer service. And maybe, just maybe, by the grace of God, they’ll move their «business» to a real location rather than being stationed in a bedroom.
I hope people choose their competitors and bypass the unedifying experience of dealing with the shady locksmith who drives an unmarked car and his supervisor, who I really suspect is his brother. I hope you choose to bypass the possibility of having to shout for half an hour and have a locksmith stand outside your home like a stalker waiting for you to give him money for no service. BUT, if you want a stranger to stand outside your home and who will refuse to leave you, then this is the place for you.

I lost my keys and my sister was out of town and had brought her keys with her. I was afraid I was going to have to wait all day for someone to come, but they sent someone almost immediately. I was a little embarrassed about locking myself out but they were kind and very helpful. Their price was much cheaper than I was expecting it to be too .

I lost my car keys last week, so I had to find a locksmith that makes keys from scratch. I called few companies and no one could help me, untill I found this emergency locksmiths in Astoria.
They promised to send someone over to make me a new key for my car and to program it
and an hour later I had 2 brand new programed keys to my car, the price was reasonable and they program the keys right at the spot! They are well equipped and knowledgeable.

Wanted to upgrade my top lock dead bolt to something more secure.
within the same day of call, I had a technician coming over for free consultation. he was very nice and knowledgable, and had few types of locks to let me choose from: multi locks and medeco, angel and some few other locks.
I picked the Medeco lock since I knew my friend had the same one and they liked it.
The service was quick and the price was fair. Will defiantly use this astoria locksmiths again.

My keys broke inside the lock at my friends place in astoria.

gush, this guys are faster then a pizza delivery, within 20 minutes i had a locksmith at my door.
he was able to get the key piece out of the lock and actuyaly pick the lock and open the door!
