The food was very good! My boyfriend and I came here after church and our server was very friendly and attentive. We both enjoyed our dishes and would return again.

LOVE the food here! Citi grids were great and the lobster omelette took some getting use to (not a big bre cheese fan) The complimentary beignets were the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth! The orange dipping sauce is a must

This was my first time at Another Broken Egg Café. The host greeted my boyfriend and I with a smile, as did our server which made it very inviting. I ordered the Classic Biscuit & Gravy since I was craving something savory. I really enjoyed the biscuit & gravy the most. The gravy was mildly spicy and the biscuits were soft and delicious. The side of sausages that came with the meal was mildly spicy as well and was good, but I wouldn’t say the best sausages ever. The side of potatoes that it came with was great! My boyfriend ordered the Fried Green Tomato BLT and he really enjoyed his dish as well and told me it was spicy. Overall it was a good experience and our server was very friendly.

Not worth the wait or the money. The Sweet Potato Pancake was good but it was not worth $ 9. The service was not so great. It was certainly not worth a 45 minute wait. Not coming back.

I had the griddle cakes, bacon and scrambled eggs with mimosas and my girlfriend had the lobster and brie omelette with potatoes and mimosas.
My meal was incredible, but I’m a sucker for great pancakes. My girlfriend stated that it was the best omelette of her life!
I highly recommend Another Broken Egg Café!

Met some friends here for breakfast, it was crowded and loud. Took a while to get our drinks, about 15 min. We got bloody Mary’s and they were good and strong! I tasted several things, sweet potato pancake was good, Mardi Gras omelette was good as well. I like this place but I think it’s lil pricey. Oj should not be almost 4.00.

While I agree that the pop of colors from ingredients like green onions and red peppers against bright ceramic serving vessels yields a picture-​perfect photo opp, this restaurant chain offers very little else, falling short in terms of both taste and cost.
The mediocre, poorly executed meals don’t justify the bill, and that’s why Another Broken Egg simply is not worth a visit.
The restaurants are out to get your money, charging too much for small meal portions and adding extra charges for customization and substitution of food.
Bryant and I visited the Dunwoody location on a Thursday for late lunch, grabbing a table by the window. Among the different patrons, of the few that were in the uncrowded restaurant, were couples and small families.
Our waitress was rather uncommunicative from the start. While she took our drink order and followed through on it, she didn’t verbally interact with us much for the duration of our meal, or even give us a smile.
After an ordinary wait time of ~10 minutes, my Crabcakes Cavallo ($ 14) and Bryant’s Stan’s Mardi Gras ($ 12) arrived.
My crab cakes didn’t have that nice bite that fresh crab often has. I even found a piece of shell in the cakes, just one example of our poorly executed meal. The cakes tasted unpleasantly fishy, as if they had been tinned.
My poached eggs, on the other hand, were perfectly runny and pleasantly mixed in with the «Andouille-​infused Hollandaise», and the whole dish was topped with diced red peppers and green onions.
Bryant’s Mardi Gras-​inspired omelette contained crawfish, shrimp and Andouille sausage, and was topped with green onions, diced tomato and a tomato-​based «Hollandaise». While I’m not very fond of omelettes, Bryant’s was well-​made: fluffy and flavorful.
Both of our dishes came with a split English muffin and «country potatoes,» which tasted fine with ketchup and salt, but were nothing spectacular. Our food came in a bright ceramic baking dish with a handle.
I had a qualm with our «Hollandaise» sauces, however. They’re traditionally known to be opaque and light yellow, from the mixture of egg yolk and butter. The sauces that Bryant and I got were translucent and foamy. I’m all for innovation in the kitchen, but these sauces were mis-​characterized. A customer that orders a dish with Hollandaise expects and should receive an actual, traditional Hollandaise sauce, unless warned otherwise.
Our restaurant’s version had too much butter, which was evident in every mouthful.
You’re gonna pay at least $ 2 for sides like grits, black beans and sliced tomatoes, but no less than $ 3.50 for more substantial sides like ham, bacon and sausage.
Their alcoholic drinks start at $ 6 for a simple screw driver (vodka and OJ) and only get pricier from there.
Bryant and I didn’t order any fancy drinks, apps or desserts and we paid $ 17 each…
Last summer I had brunch with my sister and our cousin at the Buckhead location, where we ate in the backroom after a 15-​minute wait on a weekend afternoon. My expectations for the meal were set very high after witnessing the full restaurant and busy atmosphere.
But I sipped on watery coffee and timidly ate my Cinnamon Roll French Toast (3 pieces for $ 10), which was drowned in a sickly sweet Bananas Foster sauce, and topped with strawberries and blueberries, whipped cream, and a cream cheese icing.
I also ordered grits with cheese ($ 2.59), which was literally just that. Grits and cheese. Maybe I had it coming, but the grits were also unseasoned, gummy and lukewarm. After 5 minutes, they condensed into a solidified mass. I also paid an extra 70 cents for a scant sprinkle of cheese on top of the grits, and I’m still hurting over the whole ordeal.
My sister’s Veggie Delight Omelette ($ 10.29) was also above average, though I couldn’t detect the goat cheese among the tomato, spinach and mushrooms.

I enjoyed this place! It’s great for nice group brunches. I grabbed a mojito while waiting (which was okay but I guess I can’t expect the best mixed drinks @ a brunch place) and the service was excellent. Food was good as well. I would go back here!

Well came to this place after a morning walk with my wife. Well first impression was good. Walking into the Restuarant, being seated. Then started the worst nightmare. The waitress was horrible, very rude and unprofessional. I would say if she doesn’t like serving people then get out and do something else. The English muffin was burnt, I asked the lady to replace it and she brought me another burnt muffin. Omelet was okie. Ordered a Chez B’s and a veggie delight. I would give a 3 star *** for the food, only for the fact that Beignets were yummy. Finally an okie place, but I hope you don’t get the waitress

This is located where the Border’s Books used to be in the Ashford-​Dunwoody WalMart shopping center. You cannot make reservations, but (edited to add after happily being corrected: they do have call ahead seating). They are only open for breakfast and lunch. There is often a very long line (30 to 45 minutes) for a table on the weekends.
The beignets are excellent. Their bacon is my favorite in Atlanta. I’ve been here with family and coworkers many times and the food has always been excellent and the service attentive. We’ve had things like savory burgers, sandwiches, salads, kids meals, egg dishes, etc. It is all delicious! They serve their coffee in stoneware mugs which are cute and homey.
The bathroom has several stalls and there is a changing table for little ones.
I love this chain, and this location is great.

Excellent service, and attentiveness to the details. We hold a monthly company meeting in their back room and have always enjoyed it. The managers and staff are superb when it comes to customer service and communication.
I would highly recommend them for renting their back room for a function. Plus I love breakfast food and they have many solid options for the healthy palate.
We are regulars and they are our first morning meeting spot. Beats a crazy Starbucks.

Disappointing. I was looking for a great breakfast place to take my family when they were in town and this was NOT it! We usually go to Egg Harbor in Sandy Springs but I was worried about the wait with 7 people. Let me start by saying that I have never written a bad review before, so this is a first.
I’ll start with the positives. The service was good. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very good. I walked in with a group of 7 at noon on July 4^th and we were seated in about 30 minutes. The one compliment I can give to the food is that the appetizer beignets were delicious. They come with a really good honey and orange dipping sauce. Everyone in my group loved them. TIP: You can get the beignets for free by downloading the app «Stealz». They advertised this on a sign at the table with a picture of the appetizer with 8 beignets, so that is what I ordered. When checks came, I showed my waiter the coupon on the app and he told me that could only be used on the 4 beignet appetizer. He was understanding of the false advertising and still gave them to me for free anyway.
Now for the negatives. FOOD. I decided to splurge on the $ 15 lobster and brie omelette. It was disgusting. The eggs were lower quality than McDonalds and everything on my plate tasted artificial and bland. I ended up only eating the breakfast potatoes — not because they were great, but because they were the only thing I could stomach. My boyfriend ordered the lakeshore scrambler and said it was not hot or flavorful. His meal still managed to be slightly better than mine. Looking around the table, I can tell you that the only people who somewhat enjoyed their meals did NOT get eggs. The French toast looked the best out of everything.
Moral of the story: skip Another Broken Egg and go to Egg Harbor in Sandy Springs instead.

This place gets busy on weekends and the wait can be 45 minutes for a table, but boy it is delicious! I’ve been here a few times and our servers have been really friendly and despite the place being full our food always came out fast. The restaurant feels new and squeaky clean with a family oriented atmosphere.
My favorite is the Hawaiian French Toast! It’s thick cut sweet bread with delicious cinnamon batter. Then I get a side of fresh fruit (which has been a variety of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, grapes, and some melon) or potatoes.
I would definitely recommend this place for their fast service, diverse menu, and great food!

Another Broken Egg Café is in the same strip mall as Walmart but on the Western-​most end. Some may remember the Border’s Book Store that was the anchor on that end (now long gone).
I had the change of eating at ABEC with my usual lunch gang — one who is a vegetarian from India who also eats eggs — I try to accommodate him with the occasional breakfast place so he can get more than a couple of veggie sides. This place seemed to food-​the-​bill, so to speak.
I believe Broken Egg is known more for its breakfast food rather than sandwiches, but on this occasion we all bought the latter instead of the former, so please take my review with this in mind. We arrived about 11:30 during a weekday — there wasn’t anyone to greet us initially so I got a chance to look around and take a few snaps. It’s an interesting restaurant with plenty of farm/​country/​chicken/​egg themes with wood-​appearing floors. There’s a counter to one side, I’m guessing for diners to wait to be seated or perhaps for a quick bite or espresso. There were two tables seated and this doubled while we ate.
The menu is mostly breakfast and featuring, you guessed it, egg and egg combinations. The omelets (Egg-​straordinary Omelettes) looked particularly interesting but of course, we decided to go a different route and try the sandwiches.
Sid ordered the veggie burger (looks like black bean) with a side of homefries. He said it was good but from looking at the sandwich the burger looked a little undercooked — he still ate it.
Both Sangam and myself got the Turkey Burger — mine with a side-​salad and his with fries. I thought it was good but nothing exceptional. The pricing seemed a little on the high side but still affordable. Service was a bit spotty — it looked like a single server was handling about a half-​dozen tables. In general the experience was good but nothing to write home about. I’ll update after we try a second time.

The after church Sunday crowd makes for some interesting wait times but it’s so worth it. I typically ask servers what’s their fave menu items. Many moons ago, I was told to order the french toast and top it with bananas foster. I’m not some huge banana fan typically. THIS STUFF IS AMAZING! I have a hard time ordering other items because it’s flawless. I suggest it with a side of bacon for that occasional sweet relief.
The beignets are yummy goodness as well as the cinnamon roll.
The mimosas are awesome and presented so well.
The skinny omelet was disgusting. The goat cheese seemed off and it sent my friend straight to the potty.
I love this (diet killer) place in Dunwoody!

Decent breakfast, poor service.
I ordered the Black Bean benedict and the beignets as an appetizer. The Beignets were warm and delicious, the marmalade was not very flavorful. The Black bean cakes were not as crispy as I would have liked them to be, but the flavor, and cilantro sauce was good! The service was poor, the waitress was not very careful or graceful. She dropped straws and plates on our table without care and even spilled water on me and did not apologize. Overall, for a 20 minute wait, the food was good, but I wouldn’t frequent this place again due to the quality of service. There wasn’t anything incredibly appealing or intriguing.

I will not right a long review because you should know 2 things about me… 1– I am very particular 2– I love great food and even better service
This place hit both on the head. We were a group of 5 and we each purposely ordered a different item so I could sample off each other’s plates… everyone left happy. Our server was a red head and she was out of this world… I will be back soon… I hope the others have the same 5 star service and food… this location has set a high bar for the other locations… I posted some pictures and the pictures don’t do justice to the aroma and unique flavors of each entrée

I really love Another Broken Egg, I tried them in Florida before they opened up shop here in Atlanta and I have always been a fan of their omelets.
On this occasion just stopped in for some brunch with a friend. We got the free order of Beignets via the app Stealz. I ordered the lobster and brie omelet and a screwdriver. The food was Ok certainly not the same quality as the location in Florida. My omelet was under seasoned and it wasn’t enough… the service was turtle slow… luckily I was enjoying my company because we waited over 40 mins for our food making the brunch an hour and half long. They need to really get on top of the kitchen crew and their pace. I know it’s a made fresh breakfast but it’s no excuse for breakfast to take that long.
All in all I’d skip this location and go elsewhere.

The only reason I’m going to give this two stars is because the only thing that was good was the orange Juice and water.
I got the salmon eggs Benedict and my spouse got the western omelette and it was horrible… Our bread was rubber and wasn’t toasted. Our eggs were cold. The potatoes tasted like cardboard. No flavor at all. The service was awesome. Never got us refills on our drinks. We couldn’t even come close to finishing the food. I would never come back here again.
