I have been in Real Estate for fourteen years. In addition, I have 8 years of licensed appraisal experience with over 5,000 hours of home value analysis.

Member of the NAR (National Association of Realtors), (AAR) Aurora Association of Realtors, (SFR) Short Sale Resource certification, and certified 203k consultant.

Through my continuing education, I am able to obtain these memberships and certifications. This allows me to stay abreast of current market trends and laws that protect you, the consumer.

We decided to sell our home at the beginning of August and after reading several reviews we decided to go with Marc. Marc is an amazing realtor to work with and with all the experience he brought to the table he was able to quickly sell our home. He is very friendly and easy to talk too. Marc was able to ease our concerns and answer all the questions that my wife had my (she had a lot). From day one he explained the whole process and as we moved forward he made the process as easy as possible. Once we had our home sold Marc went into overdrive in trying to find a new home for us. He made time for us to go see homes at all times of the day, every day. It took us several house visits to find the right house but when we did find the right house Marc made the process as easy and as fast as possible. I will be recommending Marc to friends and family. Thank you Marc for finding our dream home.

Marc was instrumental in helping us first-​time homebuyers find and close on our home within our very tight timeframe. He always made himself available to us for any questions, comments, or showings and was in communication with us every step of the way. We used a VA loan for our mortgage and Marc was able to navigate the trickier parts of the VA loan process with zero problems. We closed on our home exactly 35 days after first contacting Marc. HORRID customer service. I had thought that after reading all of his good reviews on Unilocal,Marc was going to be great realtor with an awesome personality… NOPE! NOT EVEN CLOSE! He was not at all interested in helping my husband and I find our first home and was too busy for us to text back or call us back. Marc also had horrible customer service skills as well as communication skills. If you are looking for a realtor with great experience or a realtor that can really help you find a home and do what a realtor is supposed to do, look elsewhere because this guy is not it at all. Found another realtor and she was just awesome! had a list of homes for us to see and found our home in less than a week!

If you are randomly browsing through profiles wondering who to contact, take a moment to consider Marc Thomas. Marc was successful in finding me a townhouse even though I was clueless about the real estate market and types of real estate, in a time crunch, and was pretty much resigned to buying a nice little manufactured home (yes a trailer) in a mobile home community. Not to mention it is currently a seller’s market and demand is crazy high and the supply isn’t. When I met Marc at the beginning of May, I told him upfront, that I only had to the end of May to find a house, with a closing in June, to insure that I was out of my apartment by July. Marc rose to the challenge and I just closed on my townhouse. This was not a small feat. I am picky but have a limited budget. Marc took the time to understand what I would and would not accept, yet at the same time introducing options I would not have considered. He was patient with me, even though I am slightly geographically challenged, asked a myriad of questions, and a bit of a skeptic. He kept the lines of communication flowing, and responded to telephone calls, e-​mails, texts immediately. The process took a mountain of paperwork, but Marc made sure I understood everything I was signing. He is absolutely fantastic as an advocate when dealing with a seller. He even helped me with financing. Initially, I was going with a national mortgage company, but Marc made the suggestion of comparing them to local companies. In the end, a local lending company worked best for me. Yes, Marc has lots of knowledge and skill, but none of that would matter if he wasn’t a great person to work with. He is definitely a people person and manages to inspire trust very quickly. Give him a shot, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Marc is the consummate professional. I found Marc through Unilocal.We had just fired our realtor the day before after a fruitless and stressful 6 months looking for our first home. My previous realtor I felt didn’t really know us or really understand our needs and after working with us for 6 months that just seemed unreal. We were ready to put an offer in on a house my husband loved that we had seen with the previous realtor, so Marc took us back to the house to see it. After walking through it with him we realized that this was not house for us and was about to make a huge mistake. Marc did not miss a beat. He understood our urgency and our needs. During the two weeks we looked with him, Marc dealt with all my breakdowns and frustrations in a very thoughtful way. Also, my husband works out of town a lot and Marc worked around his schedule and always made sure he did not make a move without confirming it with both of us. He answered every phone call and email within 5 – 10 minutes which was very important as I am teacher and my free time is limited during the day. Just by listening and watching our reactions to the houses he showed us; within 30 days Marc helped us find the perfect home for our family and close before our lease was up. Listen to him and use his people they will get the job done and have it done right. You will not be disappointed with his service and professionalism.

Wow, where do I begin? I was about to put my home up for sale when I received a flyer in the mail from Marc Thomas. I ALWAYS throw these type of flyers away. Something about this flyer caught my eye and something told me not to throw it away. I called Marc and told him my situation. He was very friendly, had all the answers to my questions. He was eager to help. Within a a few days we had signed a contract. Marc always had MY best interest in mind. Something that is hard to find these days. Good Honest People. Marc was extremely helpful in assisting my husband and I throughout our entire home buying process.
As out of state buyers, we relied heavily on Marc’s knowledge of the area, schools, and proximities to entertainment and shopping to help us pinpoint a neighborhood that would be perfect for us.
My husband was out of the country during the entirety of our house hunting process. Marc was always happy to include him along the way, and would show him the homes using Skype, taking photos and videos and sending them to my husband overseas, and guiding us through the whole process. He went above and beyond our expectations, and went out of his way on several occasions to ease my husband’s worries and concerns.
He always responded promptly to our phone calls, and was always happy to answer our questions. Buying a home is a very scary thing, but he made it fun and kept our anxieties at bay.
