Lance came over and found and fixed a slab leak for us in less than 4 hours!!! His expertise saved us thousands of dollars. We will be requesting him every time we need any service in the future! Thanks again Lance.

Lance from 1^st Plumbing came out to repair an emergency puncture in our main water line late in the evening and at the last minute. He was extremely helpful, knowledgable, and professional and definitely bent over backwards late at night to get our water back to where it needed to be. He even recommended a water restoration company that came out within minutes to start the salvage process from the water leak. 1^st plumbing and Lance Griffith we’re great. I’d hire them again in a second.

Sudden shower leak, I knew what the problem was but I don’t have the tools, called 1^st Plumbing Services. Intake was super efficient and professionally polite. Plumbers dressed in professional uniforms, covered their shoes, fixed with an authorized Moen part. Jeremy and C2 were exceptional and I learned more about their services and signed up for the maintenance agreement which I think is a steal of a deal! Thanks all of you at 1^st Plumbing! Extremely expensive. See the breakdown below. I paid 45 $ for the consult and was shocked at the quote so I decided to shop around. The labor to fix the control issue was $ 500. And quoted $ 2400 to replace entire heater. They say their quality is good but I am not one to comment on that. All I got was a quote from them. I ended up doing the install myself for 33% of the cost.
Here is their breakdown compared to homedepot. You can judge for yourself.

The drip pan replacement was enough to cause me to write this review. $ 20 pan installed for $ 310. It is literally just an aluminum pan. I then noticed they stated they needed to replace the supply line and valve due to a leak. However the leak they pointed out was on the hot water supply. Not the water supply which he stated needed to be welded in and new valve replaced. I had a plumber friend look at it and said it is 100% good. It just needed a new gasket to stop the leak it had at the connection to the tank.
They scared me with the expectation I needed new pipes, welding, and there were gas codes which my house was not up to code on. Many specialty services a plumber would do. However there was no welding needed and a gas line was 100% to code.
Other quotes also were high from other companies. In the range of $ 1400 – 1800 but do not be fooled. Do your research. If uncomfortable with install buy all parts and hire the installation labor separately.

Sean Jester came out to examine a water leak in my shower. He provided multiple options to identify the problem, including the referral to a water damage specialist that was able to quickly and definitively identify the issue. Service was prompt, courteous and professional. I will definitely use again!

1^st Plumbing just left my house. And while the service man and receptionist were very nice and polite, I had specifically called out that I would need a camera to scope out the issue in my drain. They mentioned that wouldn’t be an issue. So after his diagnosis, he decided he needed a camera but didn’t have it. Had I known that the camera would not be available for 2 days, then I would not have requested a visit by this company. $ 45 bucks for 10 minutes to tell me something I already knew… not happy.

Fixed my kitchen and washing machine plumbing quickly and efficiently. So far so good. Everything is working.
The plumber, Casey, was a class act. Didn’t waste time. No idle chatter or jive talk. Diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Kept me informed at what it was going to cost every step of the way. No surprises.
It wasn’t cheap but probably par for the course. Nothing is cheap in Austin these days except breakfast tacos and beautiful sunsets.

I can’t imagine better service today. Both Sean Jester & Caseil (C2) took amazing care of my kitchen faucet emergency. They went above and beyond what needed to be done and also looked at the bib without me even asking. I would highly recommend you use these guys. I will!

Today I had to break down and get a plumber due to the littlest pet shop toys my son decided needed to take a swim. I called 1^st plumbing services and they came within hours much to my surprise. The tech Jeremy Johnson worked so fast and diligently he was even able to pinpoint s problem a previous company couldn’t. I was very please with his knowledge and customer service skills. I have used other companies in the past and never received such prompt and courteous attention. We will definitely use this company again in the future.

These guys are awesome! Called because of a leaking faucet and they were there in no time. Very professional and straight to the point.

I had a plumbing problem last night and had to turn our water off until I could get some help. I called their 24 hour line and was told I would see them the next day before noon. Jeremy showed up and solved my problem quickly and professionally. He was very informative and showed me how to take the problem if it should happen again in another bathroom. He was also very informative with plumbing questions I had in other areas of my home. Their rates are high, but they know their stuff!

I just had 1^st Plumbing Services come to give me an estimate on what I thought was a simple task (remove a water softener from my house’s input water line). I can do this job in less than 2 hours. 1PS wanted $ 429.34 to do what they estimated to be a 1 – 1.5 hour job. YIKES! When I complained about the excessive fee, they brought it down to «only» $ 388.34. I guess times have changed, but I didn’t know that plumbers (with company overhead) now go for a rate of $ 250−300/hour. I paid my $ 45 fee for the service call, and cut my losses.
By the way, if you want a good independent plumber in Austin who works for a reasonable hourly charge, and charges minimal overhead (e.g. travel), then I recommend Gilbert at Blue Dragon Plumbing.

What a great company! I’ve called them multiple times and had Nathan and Randy come work on my house. They really saved me when my regular plumber had a medical emergency and was unable to finish a bathroom remodel for me and my inlaws were on their way to stay at my house. Fast and thorough! Thank you, 1^st Plumbing!

I called them, and two hours later I had a new gargabe disposal completely installed. You can’t beat that.

I called and they responded quickly. I like that they have a two hour window instead of a four hour window as a lot of service companies do. Jeremy came and was conscientious and clean with his work. He diagnosed what needed to be done and got everything done quickly. He also double checked everything to make sure everything was working and nothing was leaking.

We met David and 1^st Plumbing Services at the Circle C Food Trailer night. He came out and diagnosed and fixed our low water pressure. He was early, professional and a knowledgeable Plumber. Will use them again.

I called this business because of the positive Unilocal reviews. My experience was not positive! In fact I feel very taken advantage of by 1^st Plumbing. I was told on phone there would be a $ 50 service charge applied to work done. (Fine, no problem.) When they got here, there was also a $ 150 «trouble shooting fee». Told parts were under warranty but labor cost would be almost $ 500 and there would be another additional $ 150 charge to go get the parts needed. So $ 800 and service charge wasn’t even applied to the total! I didn’t authroize the «transport of parts» or the labor, but had to pay the $ 200 in service and trouble shooting charges. I then called someone else. They were here within an hour, had parts on the truck, and my entire charge was $ 138. And the best part? What 1^st Plumbing said was wrong wasn’t even the problem…
I contacted 1^st Plumbing twice to see if they wanted to rectify the problem by refunding the $ 150 trouble shooting charge (and I would be fine paying the $ 50 service charge). I wasn’t even given the courtesy of a response. You would think their professional reputation would matter to them, but apparently not enough to discuss the incident with an unhappy customer. I would continue to go without hot water next time rather than give them another chance.

I needed help fast — I was having a baby shower at my home and the plumbing was backing up. Jeremy at 1^st Plumbing was there within the hour on a Saturday and was able to quickly diagnose and resolve my problem. On top of that he was very friendly and polite, which costs nothing and in my opinion adds tons of value!
Yes, I had to pay the over-​time service call of $ 100 because it was a Saturday and I needed help ASAP but pricing in general was reasonable and Jeremy was not a pushy sales person trying to up my bill.
I would highly recommend the company to my friends and family.

Showed up on time. Diagnosed and resolved low water pressure to the kitchen sink. Did the job quickly.
