I have a list of five or six AC companies to call when something happens to our commercial building. All of those companies went dark when asked about installing a small unit for a room near the exterior of our building. All Year Heating & Cooling was recommended to us by one of our original vendors. They were the most hands-​on when it came to quoting, the most responsive when it came to scheduling and to be honest the nicest techs we have dealt with for any sort of building project. When one of our other units started to have problems 3 days before a routine checkup, techs came out early and worked on the broken unit as well as their other maintenance checks.

Have used All Year for several years and find their service great. Today Marlen came out to do my summer ac check and he was super thorough and professional. Wouldn’t use anyone else.

Lee, Brent & Will went far above & beyond my expectations for expertise & customer service. They handled an attic ladder install very professionally. They were polite, courteous & respectful of my property. They left my house & yard as clean or cleaner than when they arrived to start the job. I had total confidence in the XV18 Trane system that I purchased thru Lowes due in part to the responses from all 3 guys and Susan from All Year. Susan was an amazing part of the team also. She is the first line of defense and she is extremely knowledgeable. This company is the only one out of 3 that I called that did a heat load calculation on the first visit. Very, very impressive company with excellent morals & values. I wouldn’t hesitate a second to recommend them to anyone who needs repair or a totally new system.

I have been a All Year Heating and Cooling customer since 1997. Remodeled and older house, and Michael (the owner) came out and designed a whole house system and sized the unit. I have been very happy with the cooling and heating. The condenser broke down after 16 years and had to be replaced.
Susan came out as soon as possible and offered me some alternatives, and I made a choice. The only problem was it was after 5 pm on Friday, and in the hottest part of the year. Michael, Susan, and their crew put out a request to anyone willing to work on Saturday, their day off, and after the crews have been working non-​stop due to the heat wave. Two of their men decided to help me out and work Saturday. They arrived on time and got to work, put their heads down and got the job done. No problems at all. These two guys were professional and courteous.
I would highly recommend ‘All Year Heating and Cooling’ to my family, friends, and anyone who wants a good system at a fair price.
I have been a customer for 16 years and will be one for at least another 16 years. they came through when I needed them.

I received three bids for replacing a 20 year old system. Bids were within 500.00 of each other. All Year did a much more comprehensive analysis of our needs, including room measurements, window placement and exposure, ceiling heights, etc. Settled on All Year, and was extremely pleased. Professional and courteous installation crew, arrived on time, and did an excellent job. Highly recommended.

In my opinion, the reviews here on Unilocal for the folks at All Year are unfairly biased toward the low end. Working from a recommendation from a former colleague, I had All-​Year bid for a total HVAC replacement on our 20+ year-​old system. Unlike the other bids, the owner of the company actually came to the home to measure every room, and conducted a thorough interview with me regarding our heating and cooling habits. Once that was done, his associate Susan worked up a detailed quote (more of a four-​page letter, actually) that included a range of options as well as pointing out that the city was offering major rebates we’d be wise to take advantage of before they expired, including one that practically pays for the entire cost of sealing your house with additional insulation and weatherstripping on doors and windows.
Once we selected All-​Year as our contractor, Susan worked directly with me and with the city to ensure that our house would qualify for all the rebates. The install itself went smoothly (for the most part) and the one issue that we encountered (a separated plenum) was resolved via a late-​evening re-​routing of one of their techs to come out and take care of it. Susan has also been great about staying in contact, either via email or phone on the nights before the install and inspection appointments. She is not difficult to reach, and is a real pleasure to work with. We have two Nest thermostats, and after Susan listened to my raving about them every chance I got, she talked to the management and it looks like they’re set up to be a certified Nest installer now as well. So even better.
The system itself has been up and running for a little over two months now, with both heating and cooling. While it’s been a cool spring (so far) and we haven’t seen dramatic reductions in cooling bills (since it’s not really been on much), we are sure that the new system and the weather-​proofing will be a good investment in the long run.
In the end, I trust that All Year will stand behind their installation and will be there if and when we need them for service. I never had any issues at all with any customer service, and in fact felt All Year did more than necessary to help me feel we made the right choice in contractors. Give them a try for yourself.

We have used All Year to install two HVAC systems in the last two years and have been very pleased with their professionalism and service. When we had a minor leak from a loose hose connection past our warranty period, they initially billed us for the work, but later waived the fee. In other words, they stood behind their work. We have found Susan to be pleasant and responsive and the office staff to be warm and polite (Bart). We remodel homes and have worked with many service contractors. We are used to having to «hunt them down» via phone and email. Although we haven’t had that experience with All Year, it seems to be common for the type of business and we wouldn’t see it as a reflection of their work. We will continue to call All Year first when we have HVAC needs.

Had 2 units installed a few years apart. First unit just required repairs after 8 or 9 years due to a faulty part which seemed reasonable.
Second unit was poorly installed where I can’t put in a pleated air filter without bending the crap out of it. On 2 different occasions when a tech came out (from All Year, I might add), they stated that this is definitely their fault and that they’d see about getting it corrected. Tried 5+ times to talk to someone about scheduling an appointment to have them fix it. Won’t return my phone calls.

I believe these guys tried to take me on a ride. I was selling my house and had a system that was approximately 7 years old. The buyer wanted a AC inspection, totally understandable.
The guy came out over an hour late, and perhaps he didn’t like the fact that I commented on that, not sure… Then he goes about finding all kinds of things wrong with my AC. Says the coolant charge is potentially low but he won’t know until we spend something like $ 300 getting the unit cleaned. I’m thinking «scam» at this point, but he freaked out the buyer and their agent to where they offered to pay for it. I still said no. I wanted to kick the guy out of my house because I’d never had issues with the system. He stated that the external compressor may need to be completely replaced. Maybe he was in cahoots with the selling agent, don’t know but it seemed pretty far-​fetched.
After the guys left, I got out the shop vac, vacuumed out some leaves in the outside unit. Sprayed it down with some simple green and then some water. It took me all of 30 minutes for this «comprehensive cleaning». And I can tell you it was spotless after this cursory hose down. Then I called out the company that installed the system. Guy came out said the charge looked great, no problems. The guy also did a temp differential and stated it was performing great, well over expected temp differential. He stated to me straight up that these guys were trying to sell me a system or the tech was up to something fishy with the buyers agent.
So unless you want to get scammed, I’d say steer clear.

I went through Home Depot and I guess this is the company the store sub-​contracts with. The sales rep (Susan, I think) was friendly and shot me straight. I decided to replace the entire HVAC and take advantage of City of Austin rebates and tax credits. The entire system should set me back about 2800.00 when all is said and done, but boy-​howdy is it worth it.
Immediately when the new A/​C fired up it was a HUGE difference. The sound of air rushing through the vents had never sounded this powerful before. The house is now easily kept a very comfortable 74 degrees.
Susan (the sales rep) said my electric bills could drop as much as 25%. Well, she was wrong. My electric bill for May and June were each cut by more than 50%. What a good feeling to pay a $ 120.00 electric bill versus $ 260.00! Granted we have a cooler summer, but no doubt the more efficient HVAC is making a difference too.
They were quick with my papwerwork and very helpful getting me in touch with the City to check on my rebate, which I received within a month.
Honestly, I was skeptical at first since since I’d never heard of the company (and I’m kinda demanding sometimes), but now I’m a fan!

This is a small business with a few guys. The owner’s sister came out to our house to do an assessment and spent at least an hour measuring things. We wanted to move our equipment up into the attic but we were also open to ideas. Well the technician (Susan) was nice enough when she visited and even responded to phone calls for a day or so, but once they decided that it probably wasn’t a project worth doing they just moved on. No phone calls. Nothing. I called Susan back 5 times asking them if they wanted the job and even waited until after the heat wave. Pffff… These folks are not serious about customer service or reputation. Really, is one phone call back to me so much to do? Don’t let them waste your time!
