History

Established in 1999.

Austin’s Pizza first opened on the corner of 12th Street and West Ave in the fall of ’99. Started and run by 3 friends with the backing of a former high-tech executive, they established themselves quickly in a highly competitive arena with their hot and fast quality pizzas. By 2004 Austin’s Pizza grew to 14 area stores. Within the next 12 months 4 of these location were shuttered. A victim of underfunding, bad management, and a host of other issues, the company was suffering serious quality issues. In December of 2005, JD Torian purchased the company. With the backing of friends and family Torian put together a crack team and spent a few years overhauling the business and the menu. By late 2007, Austin’s Pizza was back to its former glory. Today the company employs over 200 local folks and has 12 locations. Specializing in high quality delivery pizza to area homes, offices, and events, the ‘new’ Austin’s Pizza is looking forward to serving the community for another 10 years and beyond.
