We are a full-service catering company specializing in everything from intimate, sit-down dinners and cocktail parties in your own home to weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate parties, business lunches and multi-day events held at ranches throughout Texas. We provide all wait staff, TABC certified bartenders, rentals and can point you in the right direction for the best floral arrangements and entertainment that Austin has to offer.
History
Established in 2002.
Cain’s Fine Catering was first established in San Antonio and then moved to Austin in 2008. Although our kitchen is located in Austin now, we still service our clientele in San Antonio.
Meet the Business Owner
John C.
Business Owner
I received a BA in Liberal Arts at the University of the South in Sewanee, TN in 1990 and then went on to receive an associate’s degree in the culinary arts from Johnson & Wales in Providence, RI in 1994. I then moved back to my home town of Austin, TX and began my culinary journey in many of Austin’s best restaurants. They included sous chef positions at Jeffrey’s, Brio, The Headliner’s Club and head chef at the Inn Above Onion Creek. In 1999, I moved to San Francisco where I worked at Farallon Restaurant for two years and was exposed to an entirely new type of cuisine that was based on French-Mediterranean styles of cooking and «new American» cuisine. While it is still my favorite type of cuisine, my menus still reflect my previous passions for interior Mexican, Southwestern and Asian foods.
