Greatest oil change place ever. Great group of guys to work with. I came in with the half off discount oil change coupon and I was not pressured into any or charges of any kind. Chad the manager was amazing. Highly recommend this place and I will be back.

We have been going to this kwik car spot for years… They always do what they say and guarantee the work they do! If you are an individual who is not car savy… don’t worry they treat you well.

Wow! I had such an amazing experience with this company. They really turned a difficult weekend of car trouble into a positive outcome. I am not very car savy and therefore always worry about being taken advantage of when in comes to car repairs. That is not the case here! Not only did they get my car back up and running but told me that there was a problem with my alternator and advised me to go to the dealership to have that taken care of because it should be covered by my warranty. That is fantastic customer service. I will be at Kwik Kar from now on for everything from oil changes to repairs.

Stay away from this place! The employees are very disrespectful and the service prices are not within reason. If you are looking for a good auto repair shop that is going to charge you a fair price to fix your vehicle, then this place is not for you.

I can’t say enough GREAT things about Kwik Kar and Chad Berryman! I’ve taken my car to them twice and it has been a terrific experience. Not only did they advise me well, they SAVED ME MONEY! I’ve been gouged by mechanics in the past and it’s hard to find one you can trust. Well, you can DEFINITELY trust these guys, They run an EXTREMELY clean shop and they are true professionals in every way. I live on the south side of town and it’s a little bit of a drive to get to them but, it’s TOTALLY worth it. DON’T TRUST YOUR CAR TO ANYONE ELSE!

These guys are AWESOME! This is my second time here and I definitely intend to come back again and again for any services needed. I don’t feel like they’re trying to talk me into a bunch of crap I don’t need nor do I feel talked down to based on the fact that I’m a woman. They are always extremely quick and reasonably priced.

Ryan is the best. I had gotten my oil changed at a place down the street and ran into oil leakage TWICE. I pulled into Kwik Kar DESPERATE for competent work and was given exceptional service. It was 15 minutes before closing time and they were slammed. I explained how in the past month i had gotten my oil changed twice at a competitor and each time the oil leaked out — almost to the brink of ruining my car. Ryan said as long as i have the time to wait he’d be willing to take a look to see where it was leaking from. After tackling 3 cars in 15 minutes he took a look and turns out the last place hadn’t fully tightened the filter. He mentioned it was tight to reach the filter. I’m assuming the other place couldn’t fully reach and gave up which lead to all of the oil in the car leaking out.
Ryan stayed past closing time working diligently to find the problem. He really helped me out in a desperate moment and I’ll definitely be going back for my next oil change.

2 hour wait for a vehicle inspection at 2:30 pm is not going to make me consider giving them my business. As I sat in the parking lot searching another place to go on my phone one of their service guys pulled around and challenged me with a big pick up truck when there was plenty of room to go around.

I’ve been coming here for years and Ryan the Assistant Manager has always had my back. Today Chad the General Manager yet again confirmed what an awesome place this is! Chad and Ryan are friendly, courteous, and honest guys! Kwik Kar is lucky to have them! Go get your oil change, they will get you out very fast!

the last 2 cars I’ve owned, ONLY kwik car has touched them! I’ve been a customer forEVER. haha, before online reviews were possible, I wrote them a thank you card with rave reviews. I was so grateful (as I am, still) and excited to know this special place. anyway, that card is still pinned up on their wall! yep, right next to the free coffee they offer. I’m a female, so it’s a trial every time I have to go in a car fix-​it place. it must be a primal male instinct to take advantage of girls that aren’t educated in the fine art of auto mechanics. HEY LADIES!!! it’s ok to go to this place! they’re so kind and patient. really. it’s very uncommon, I know. not only is the shop in a quiet neighborhood, they’re family-​owned (I’m pretty sure), they’re respectful, and they’re very great technicians. I will continue to trust them, as I have for the last 15 (or more) years!!! thank you thank you kwik kar!

If I could give this place a negative 5 I would. I lived in the arboretum area for the last year and have had my car serviced Kwik kar the while time I was in Texas. The last two trips I made to the establishment were hod awful! My car was locked in over night to perform an oil change, with no call or anything. My work clothes as well as apartment keys were locked in the vehicle so I had to stay at a friends house and got written up at work ultimately getting me terminated which is why I was forced to leave Texas! I received a free oil change voucher for this location which I would use after the problems I encountered with my last visit. I made it to Greenville Texas before I had a blinking check engine light on because one of your ASE certified level 1 can’t even do a proper oil change. Anything to say to this William?

I was a walk in for an oil change and state inspection. The service was quick, under 30mins. Everyone was friendly. And I was given a discount and a free car wash. I will definitely come back!

I used to really like this place but the last 2 oil changes have taken 45+ minutes. Seems like a long wait, especially for off times. Might look elsewhere.

I went there for the first time because of the proximity to my office and I have never had maintenance issues until the day after I visited them. I just found out my oil sending unit failed. I am not sure if this is a coincidence or caused by them, but not worth the risk for me to take. I don’t have high mileage on my car so it is odd to me and I have only owned one make in my lifetime (Ford) and have never had this issue with any of my past Fords.

chad was awesome — I’ll definitely be taking my car here from now on. I went in for an oil change knowing there was something wrong with my transmission — I’d already scheduled an appointment for the following day at a transmission shop and had resolved to spending hundreds on whatever the problem was.
I told chad my car had been making a knocking sound and wasn’t accelerating properly — after maybe 10 minutes he pulled me outside and showed me the state of my transmission fluid– VERY low and also very dark. I consented to pay $ 120 for a flush and refill, chad drove my car around the block to make sure it was shifting properly, and in the end I paid $ 160 (transmission fluid and oil change) instead of the $ 900+ I was expecting to pay at the transmission shop. my car is running like new!

worth mentioning I’d taken my car to Midas a few months prior for an oil change and mentioned the knocking sound and acceleration problem to them — their answer? «we didn’t hear any knocking.» I see that someone gave these guys a low review for suggesting they change their transmission fluid — seems to me they’re only trying to show you they are meticulous and doing a thorough job.

I used to get my oil changed here, only because of the location. It’s convenient and not out of the way since I am always in the area. However, EVERY single time I have been here, I was told that I needed transmission fluid changed, or that my cabin air filter was filthy. When I said I would get those done in a future visit, the guy muttered under his breath that it didn’t look like I had done those on the last visit either. Umm, if he had checked their records, he would know that I had those things done at my last visit to Kwik Kar. Oil changes come with a free car wash, but the oil change itself is overpriced so it’s not like you are saving money.
I would have given them 2 stars just because they are very fast, I’m usually in and out in 15 – 20 minutes. But I got my oil changed today at a different place, and they said that whoever changed my oil last time tightened the screw cap too tight (something to do with the bolts in the oil pan) and stripped it of any threading. So yeah. I wasn’t planning on going back anyway, but that pretty much sealed the deal.

I went there today for an inspection at 4:45 and the guy Kent I believe said he wasn’t doing anymore for the day and was really rude to me. It was apparent he didn’t want todo mine. He pointed out my inspection sticker wasn’t expired yet and again was really curt with me. This isnt the first time ive had someone be rude and not want to help me. Won’t ever go back.

Not the best. Not the worst. Probably will get the job done.

I’ve been going here ever since I moved to the Arboretum area and they have never let me down. Today I got an oil change so fast I didn’t even have time to start reading. Love they don’t try to sell me tons of add ons like other places. If I ever move I’m still coming here for oil changes.

Okay, I’m coming from a different place than most people: I ran 6 lube centers in Dallas Texas for over 7 years. I can tell you that these guys are good. Every lube center is going to recommend maintenance items based on the mileage of the vehicle; they wouldn’t be doing their job if they didn’t. I’ve never understood the problem with this, as you can just refuse the suggestion or «up-​sell» if you so choose.
In terms of the coupon related complaints, I can understand that. Coupons need to have an asterisk or something saying «…for most cars». Or even better, something like «…some vehicles require special filters or fluids which will be extra». When I was in the business, I can’t count how many times someone would come in with a $ 19.95 coupon for an oil change, then hand us the keys to their Ford F250 Diesel expecting to pay $ 19.95! A vehicle like that takes 12 — 14 quarts of oil, not to mention the increased filter price. My cars are more important to me than some other people’s. I will not go to whatever place has the best coupon.
Every time I’ve visited this place the employees are very helpful, and I’ve had no issues. I want to say that many times I’ve come in and spent NO MONEY, yet the guys were awesome. They’ve put air in my tires, scraped off my old registration sticker, topped off various fluids, etc etc etc. This place is MY neighborhood lube shop, and I’ll continue to go here.
