Great service, my friend came in for a tire leak and they fixed it for free. Kodo is the MAN! We appreciate the great hospitality. We will defiantly be back!

Andrew and Ron at the Great Hills location were great at getting my CV joints replaced, even though it took more work than usual. Fixed a loose engine mount while they were at it at no charge. Even called to follow up that next day and make sure the issue was fully resolved. Thanks for all your help and being super pleasant about it in the process!

My AC wasn’t working well so I took it here because it is close to my job. BIG mistake. They gave me an estimate of 1200 dollars and said I had to replace many of my AC components plus my fan clutch. I think they were trying to rip me off because I came there as a woman alone. However, my husband came with me to pick it up and already noticed that this seemed way out of proportion. We took it elsewhere… all it needed was to pin up the ac connector… YIKES!

Went to the Lambs on Lamar: my car broke down and literally coasted into Lambs parking lot, then died when I stopped. It was raining and as I entered the store, staff was already walking to my car with a battery charger to get my windows up.
They ended up replacing my alternator with a labor rate lower than anywhere I found; the part was very reasonably priced — they even called me during installation to offer replacement of my timing belt which was starting to crack: $ 37 for the belt and free installation.
I could not ask for a better experience. If you have an issue and are close, go see Paul: he is AWESOME!

Came in one day in a rush and spent less than a minute in the place. In that little amount of time, the customer service had me back the next day when I had more time. Service consultant Andrew was phenomenal with his customer service! Really nice, personable, and funny! Both guys seemed to genuinely be happy while at work! All customers that came in and on call backs were treated individually and with positive care. Definitely recommend this place and I will return for future services!

I am pretty happy with my service. We purchased a set of tires and had the brake pads and calipers replaced on the front end of the vehicle.
Service did take quite a while, almost 5 hours. I did expect to spend all day there so I wasn’t shocked by the waiting.
The staff is very friendly and informative. They have coffee, water and TV in the waiting room.
Brakes continued to squeek after installation and they are replacing them now since they are still under warranty.
There was a small oil stain on the seat. I brought it to the manager’s attention and he cleaned it up and offered a free oil change for my trouble.
I recomend these guys for oil changes, brakes and tires. Best I’ve found in Austin so far. With a little more work they could become the best in Austin.

I came here out of sheer desperation without an appointment on a Saturday afternoon, and I have no regrets! They worked me in, and we’re 100% honest and forthcoming. They went above and beyond when no other mechanic would. I’ve taken my car to about 4 places in the past 6 months, all saying everything was fine. Lambs finally has my car on its way back to normal! They worked with my price, and we’re so SO nice!!!

Lamb’s was wonderful I have a car that had been garaged for three years they checked it out for me so I could make a road trip to Houston. Only place I’ll take my car now. Great job! Great people!

Not only is the office and waiting area clean and welcoming, but the staff, particularly Bryan, was professional, personable, and friendly. Take note, this is the kinda of employee you want around lambs. Auto shops are said to be shady, taking advantage of abundant mechanical ignorance, but with people like Bryan, I feel confidant my friends and I will be coming back here, and only here for as long as Bryan’s around.

I was very impressed by their customer service. I know very little about cars and how they run and I was walked through, step by step, what was wrong and what needed help. I feel completely comfortable with leaving my car with them and will be happy to do it again! I went in for a simple break replacement and they drove me to work and picked me up at the end of the day. Great people!

I recently brought in my Audi A4 for transmission and spark plug problems. Andrew Strieker gave me a free diagnostic and noticed that all problems would still be covered under the Manufacturer’s Warranty and actually called Audi to set me up with an appointment. Andrew could have just worked on my car and I would have never knew but, instead, was honest, professional and unbelievably helpful. I will definitely be calling Andrew for any problems that should arise after the warranty is over.

Was on my way to class when I realized my tire was flat. Stopped in the nearest tire place on my route (Lamb’s). They looked at my tire & saw a nail but told me there was over an hour wait. I explained to them that I was on my way to class and they got me in quicker. I was out of there within 15 min and the best part was they didn’t even charge me anything! Great service, I definitely recommend!

I got a flat tire and didn’t know what to do with it. I drove in right before they were closing, but they took in my car anyway. They were professional, friendly and fast! They checked my tire, explained me the issue, recommended me the things i need to do after they replaced my spare tire. They quickly gave me a quote on the new tire i need since i asked them, and they didn’t charge me anything for all the checkups and late work! would definitely go back if my car needs anything!

I went here to get my tires filled. I got to stay in my car and was in and out in 5 minutes. It was all free and the guys were very friendly.
I went to jiffy lube a few days before to get my tired filled and my dashboard was still saying my tires were low when I left. These guys actually got the job done, I will come here over jiffy lube next time!

As a woman that doesn’t know much about cars I realize I could be a prime target for opportunistic auto garages to take advantage of, and so I am very cautious and suspicious when dealing with mechanics. I went to Lamb’s for the first time about 3 years ago and have been back them enough that that they know my name. With every interaction that have earned my trust by explaining things I don’t understand, performing work faster than expected and giving a personal touch that makes me feel they care about service more than money. They seems like they actually enjoy what they do, especially Andrew who displays a pride in his garage that inspires my customer loyalty. I never look forward to getting work done but can vouch for Lamb’s making a negative experience a little more positive.

Very impressed. While I waited for my own car I was able to see the Lamb’s Arboretum front desk team (Bryan and Pat) in action with other customers. Every customer was treated respectfully (male and female), no price gouging, super helpful. Several customers bragged about the service and commented that they were regulars, I can entirely see why! Great work, fair price, super helpful. I’m now counting myself as a regular too and won’t hesitate to refer friends!

I hate having to go to any type of car repair shop; mechanics always talk to me like I don’t have a brain and use ridiculous scare tactics to try to get me to agree to a few hundred dollars of unnecessary services. Luckily, my trip to this Lamb’s was straightforward, and I managed to get my brake pads replaced without feeling like I was just completely swindled.
We had a few spare hours on Saturday afternoon and decided to replace our squeaky brake pads. We called a few other shops we found on Unilocal,but they refused to give us a quote on how much a brake pad replacement would be, even though I gave them the specific make/​model/​year of the car. I’ve heard the spiel on how mechanics don’t know exactly how much things cost until they actually inspect the car, but surely they have a standard rate for JUST brake pads. And there’s no way I’d bother going to a shop if they can’t even tell me that; I don’t want to waste my time driving out to a shop if their normal price for just brake pads is 2x (or more) the standard price.
I was about to give up on finding a place that was honest enough to at least give a brake pad quote when we called this Lamb’s. They gave me a fair quote for just the pads, and they were willing to squeeze us in at 3pm on a Saturday. Even better, they actually stuck to their quote, and didn’t do a hard sell on other stuff I didn’t want or need. And they worked quickly– they finished up in about an hour.
Extra thanks to Desmond, who handled all of this for us. He answered my many questions, and again, didn’t try to do a hard sell on anything extra. (When I politely declined their suggested extra service, he just said okay and let it go… no crazy story about how my car will self-​destruct, like some other mechanics).

I usually go to Dave’s Ultimate Automotive North, but had a flat tire one Saturday so brought it to this shop to get the tire fixed. Going in, I knew I had a nail in the tire and the valve stem was leaking, and I had put a spare tire on. They ended up not being able to fix the tire, saying it had been run low too much, and that my other tires looked worn also, my struts probably needed to be replaced, etc. I said thanks and left.
I felt bad for them though… here they were trying to do a good job by telling me the things wrong with my car, but I could totally see how someone could think they were being scammed. Of course they’re trying to get you to repair things, but it’s a win-​win — they get the business, you avoid problems later. I’d actually heard all the things they told me was wrong a couple of months ago from Dave’s, my regular shop, which I’ve learned over time I ignore at my peril, but I was about to go on vacation and left it until I got back and forgot about it.
So next time you go to a car shop, give them the benefit of the doubt… they might just be doing their job when they tell you all the things wrong with your car. Of course there are places that try to rip you off, but if you’re on Unilocal you can probably figure out which ones these are pretty quickly.
