M & R Seamless Rain Gutters

I really wanted this to be a great company, as their reviews on Unilocal seem pretty high, but unfortunately my experience was far from that.
For my first estimate, I was given a window of between 11 and 1. They called me at 10 letting me know they were running a little early (great!) and could be there around 10:30. I had another gutter service coming at that time so asked if they could make it 10:45, to which they said yes. But then nobody ever showed up. When I called the office that afternoon to inquire, they had no clue why.
Mistakes happen, I get it. So I set up a second estimate. This time, I never received a call to let me know of the window, so I called in the afternoon to see what was up. The recording on the machine said they were closed that day due to a personal event. I left a message and was called back a few minutes later letting me know that my estimate paperwork was on their desk and they weren’t sure why it didn’t go out. A little strange and I should have known, but I still wanted to give it a shot, so set up another estimate date.
This time, the owners themselves came out for my estimate. They were very knowledgeable and the price they quoted me was lower than my other estimates, so I went with it.
For my installation, I was given a window of between 12 and 2. After not hearing from them a few minutes after 2, I gave the office a call to see what was going on, as their policy is that someone must be around at the start and end of the job, and I had other things I needed to do that day. They told me the crew was at a site 20 minutes away and would be done there in 30 minutes, at which point they would call me. I was told to call back at 3 if I hadn’t heard from anyone. So I called back at 3, only to be greeted by an answering machine. I left a message saying I would be leaving the house to do some things but they are welcome to start the work while I am away. I received a call back 45 minutes later (close to 2 hours after their start window had passed) to let me know the crew was outside and needed electricity to start.
Fortunately, I was able to make it home before they gave up and left, and they installed the gutters pretty quickly. However, the installer in charge seemed hesitant to do a walkthrough with me and didn’t sign off on any of the paperwork he gave me (which mentions a thorough walkthrough and both parties signing).
I noticed on the invoice I was itemized for nearly twice as much gutter as what was actually there (34 feet of downspout and 34 feet of gutter, where in reality both measure no more than 20 feet). When they called for payment, I questioned this, and was given a jargon-​filled explanation. She said she would re-​calculate and then explained they were actually giving me a cheaper price, but again, the reasoning made no sense.
All in all, the price was decent, but the service was terrible and a big frustration. When I take off work to wait for a service, I expect them to arrive on time, or at least notify me they will be late. I would not recommend M & R Gutter!

I wasn’t totally convinced my gutters were professionally installed nearly 10 years ago but I wasn’t having any issues either. Then, I leaned a ladder against them to trim a front bush and that REALLY messed them up. The heavy rains we got last Fall proved the gutters were twisted beyond the point of functionality.
I called some of the highly rated gutter companies but most only do installations, not repair. After asking around, M&R was recommended. I looked them up and they were a highly rated company I missed. I called for an estimate and they scheduled a time on Christmas Eve. I thought that was a bit odd but I was going to be off anyway so I agreed to it. The scheduler called me back the day before and said they decided to close for Christmas Eve and asked to re-​schedule for the following week. I gladly obliged and asked if the estimator could come that day as it would not take long due to the amount of work I needed. After a short pause, she said he could be out in a couple hours.
The estimator arrived on time, was very professional, took measurements and explained what they would do to make the repair. He said they normally email a quote in a couple days but it might be longer with the holidays. I told him that would work. The quote came after Christmas with a scheduled completion date of 1÷8÷16.
The truck rolls up and three guys get out. The lead guy explained the gutter was not attached correctly based on the angle of the wood behind and there were some strut pieces missing that would have made it structurally stronger They corrected all of that and even corrected another connected, short section that was not part of the project.
This company is professional, efficient and courteous in every aspect of their business, from the person to answers the phone to the crew who does the job. I will not hesitate to call or recommend them for any job in the future,

I got two different quotes from M&R with different options. Two workers showed up with the downspouts from the original quote. They were able to workaround the wrong material while someone from the office delivered the correct downspouts.
Both were very friendly and professional.

pre-​sales was awesome, the guy came out, spent a lot of time answering my questions (i like to know everything about everything ha). the price was a bit high but he explained why and what the difference was, whereas other people just came to measure and sent me prices later.
getting it scheduled was automatic, but there wasn’t a lot of info on how that happened. they take a 50% deposit, which is ok, but when i called, the person didnt know how much that was, she just took my number for someone else to charge. this should be rectified…
actual install was awesome too. they were very quick, did an excellent job, and were also happy to answer my questions and ask me to confirm things before they installed, which was awesome!

M&R installed gutters on a new addition and routed two existing gutters to drain into the new gutters. They were professional throughout the entire process and did quality work at a very reasonable price. Their schedule also was better than the other companies from which I received bids. I would recommend them to anyone who needs gutters.

While we weren’t able to use their service (we wanted to install popup drains which they don’t handle), their prompt, detailed, professional attitude when we wanted a quote impressed. And their prices are very reasonable.

M & R were great to work with. My new rain gutters look perfect, scheduling went pretty smoothly, and they were really quick and efficient. My house has kind of a weird layout and they were very open and easy to talk to about what my best options were.

M&R made themselves available on short notice and did a great job at a reasonable price. I received bids from a couple of other companies and M&R beat them. While other companies wanted me to wait several weeks to get an estimate, M&R was there and took care of my home quickly and effectively. Great job M&R

I got the best possible gutter covers from M&R to keep out all the live-​oak leaves that had jammed my downspout. First M&R cleared out a big clog in one of my downspouts at no extra charge. Then they did the whole job for nearly $ 200 LESS than their estimate because the measurements came in less than in the estimate. The biggest gutter company in Austin wanted more than FOUR TIMES M&R’s price (and in tacky fashion asked which company I’d gone with when I called them to cancel; I didn’t tell them, as they’re trying to monopolize the gutter business in Austin). M&R called ahead on the day of the job and then, after a big rainstorm interrupted them in the middle of it, they returned 2 days later and finished it. I couldn’t be happier with their work, professionalism, friendliness, and price.

M&R did a great job with our gutters and gave us a very reasonable price. They got back to us quickly when we called for the initial estimate, and were very professional and fast in scheduling the estimate and the installation.
We only needed the gutters replaced on the front of our house, but M&R did not have a problem with our «small» job and helped troubleshoot an issue with the roof decking.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This place was so fast and professional. They gave us the most competitive quote, showed up when they said they were going to, called before the job was done so I had time to get home and pay them, and they did an amazing job! When you talk about EXCELLENT service, communication and quality in work, this is the place to go!

I’m so glad we chose M & R Seamless gutters for our new home! From start to finish, every single member of the company that we interacted with was so nice and professional. They were the cheapest of 4 estimates we received for the exact same gutters but with more downspouts than others recommended so we got even more for way less. They kept in touch with us throughout the process and were able to fit us in their schedule very quickly. I would highly recommend M & R Seamless Gutters!

I got three estimates to install gutters on my home. M&R was the last estimate I received and theirs was ¹⁄₃^rd less than the best rated company on Unilocal.I saved $ 1000. In fact, when the company that wanted to charge $ 1000 more asked if I’d like to schedule the installation, I told them I had another company coming to give me an estimate as well. They told me to call them if I received a lower estimate and they could knock «a couple hundred» off the price. If they so quickly without my prompting are ready to knock a couple hundred off the price, they didn’t give me a good price to begin with.
The second company (in the top three according to reviews) was several hundred more than M&R. And they wanted to install larger gutters (more $$) than M&R and the other company I received an estimate from.
Price wasn’t my only concern, I wanted quality work done on my home. M&R had the same color samples as the company that wanted to charge $ 1000 more. Used the same materials from the same supplier. (I asked all the companies what materials they used when they visited to give me the estimate.)
I was a little concerned about going with M&R because although they had good reviews, they only had a few reviews while the other companies had dozens. I did have a good feeling from talking to them when they came to give me the estimate and the pictures of their work on their website looked good so I went with M&R.
When the day came to install the gutters, they showed up in a large truck with a logo and equipment in it, nicely laid out. I pay attention to the presentation of companies I hire. I don’t want just a guy with a pickup doing major work on my home. I want professional outfits that have invested the time in their presentation and tools. M&R looked good in this regard.
They knocked on my door and let me know they were going to begin the work. The first thing they had to do was remove an old gutter from the front of my home. We discovered that the wood behind it was rotten and I worried that they would postpone the install until I was able to get the wood replaced. I had already waited a week from the time I decided to use M&R until they could install my gutters due to their schedule, I didn’t want to have to delay the install. They told me if I went to Home Depot and got new wood while they were doing work on other parts of the house, they would remove the rotten wood and install the new wood and only charge me $ 50.
I ran to Home Depot, got the wood and caulk, brought it back and they replaced the rotten wood. That was important to me. They could have easily said that replacing rotten wood isn’t their job, but they worked around the situation so that the job could be completed, and I’m sure if I hired someone to replace the wood, they would have charged me a lot more than $ 50.
Over the past couple of days, we’ve had flooding in Austin so rain has been coming down in buckets. My gutters are performing great. They look good on the house and are keeping water away from my foundation. What more could you ask for from your gutters?
In the end, I’m glad I went with M&R and I wholeheartedly recommend them. I’m sure I got the exact same product and quality the top rated company would have installed, but I got it for $ 1000 less.

A family owned company. They show up on time, work quickly, and left the yard clean. Very nice people and reasonable prices.

My neighbor recommended this family-​run company for gutters when I was getting worried about possible foundation problems after all the rain we’ve been getting. They came out quickly, showed me all of the color samples and helped me to select the best color. They were extremely nice and showed up on the day I requested to complete the job. They executed everything just as planned and all for a very reasonable price. I would highly recomend!

If you are looking for fair pricing and great customer service, look no further. They are BBB accredited. This family owned business met all of my expectations from service, price, quality, workmanship, and experience. After meeting with five other gutter companies M&R beat out the competition hands down. Since he is a small business he keeps his prices low. What I enjoyed most with my experience was a second appointment was made with the owner to clear any outstanding questions.
Bottom Line: If you need gutters hire this family owned team, you won’t be disappointed.
