Ortho 360

This place is AWESOME! Everyone there is nice and professional. It was raining, and they met me at the car with an umbrella! I’m so happy to see a business that knows how to treat a customer! Well done! I HIGHLY recommend this place!

I absolutely love this place! My son has been going to the office in Bastrop for about a yr now and his teeth have already made a dramatic change. Every time we go into this office the ladies are very friendly they’re always asking about our weekend. They ask my son how school is going. They are very very professional and caring! I would recommend them to anyone looking for great care. I’m so glad that I decided to work with them versus any other business.

I’m wrapping up two years of treatment (braces) at Ortho 360 (Avery Ranch location). I saw each of the doctors over that period of time, and they were all great. Dr. Burgess even helped me avoid an unnecessary root canal that my general dentist was recommending. Dr. Henry is really good about explaining your course of treatment as it progresses.
Everyone on their staff that I worked with was professional and personable, especially Ashley. I really liked the details, like text reminders. Their customer service was great.
I’d definitely take my child there, if she need orthodontic care.

I gave Ortho 360 a brief shout out in my review of Dr. Quaroni (orthognathic oral surgeon extraordinaire) but this practice really deserves a review all their own, as they are the other half involved in the complicated equation of fixing my teeth. So yeah, I’m an adult with braces and this is not my first trip to the orthodontic rodeo. I was so bad during the adolescent/​pre-​teen era of orthodontia (did NOT wear the headgear/​elastics or follow through on anything that caused mild discomfort because I was 13 and obnoxious, like most 13 year olds) that my open bite was never really fixed. To be honest, back then I never really thought I had a problem that needed fixing but my changed perspective, along with actually paying for the orthodontics myself, has helped make all the difference.
It also helps that Ortho 360 is completely ahead of the technological curve when it comes to orthodontics in 2012 – 13, versus my experiences from 1990 – 93. Putting the braces on was super quick. They literally apply the glue and stick them all on at once. The bond the cement on the back bands with UV light. Science! So much has changed in 20 years, it makes me feel old.
Upon my first consultation, I learned I was more of a complicated case that I first assumed. I rather simplistically assumed my problems could be fixed with Invisalign. Ha! No. There are three doctors in this practice and they all met to review my case and come to a consensus on treatment plans, of which three options were presented back to me. Only the surgical option would really fix the issues (open bite, recessed lower jaw, bite out of alignment), so that’s what I went with and I have no regrets, despite the increased discomfort involved for a few weeks in March.
I tend to get Dr. Dustin the most when I have my appointments at the Avery Ranch location, so he has easily become my favorite because he is so goddamned nice and has a sense of humor. I’ve seen the other two doctors less frequently but they are also great. Dr. Burgess is like this brilliant little pixie doctor, who hums along with the radio, while pulling apart and twisting everything back together againa. You really can’t go wrong with any of them. All the assistants and techs working there seem happy and respected/​appreciated by the doctors and are well versed in your treatment plan, even when its the first time you encounter them. Overall, a top notch practice.

I would like to say how great the treatment was that my daughter received from the Dr.‘s at Ortho 360. I felt that the appointments were always met on time, she was always treated with respect and encouraged to participate in her treatment. Never did the Dr. s talk over or around her.
Which leads me to the next reason why I would recommend Ortho 360-​the Dr.‘s here truly care about the patient. We have been to several orthodontists– this is actually my 5^th set of braces I have had to deal with as a parent. We went into this treatment for this particular child being told by different offices that it would be a long drawn out process with oral surgery involved. When we came to Ortho 360 to get their «plan» it was a totally different outlook. Ortho 360’s plan included no surgery, the time frame was the same and the cost was comparable.

I have been doing invisalign through Orth360 at Avery Ranch for just over a year now. When I was first looking for an orthodontist, I visited a couple of places nearby who tried to charge me an arm and leg for braces. The price that Orth360 quoted me was very reasonable, especially given that they are the #1 invisalign provider in Austin. The staff at Orth360 has always been extremely friendly and efficient. I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes for an appointment, and I am always quickly in and out the door. The one time that there was an issue with my invisalign treatment (one of my teeth was not tracking), they were able to quickly work with invisalign and have new braces sent out to me within a two week time frame. Finally, as an adult with braces, I appreciate the professional (yet kid-​friendly) atmosphere that Ortho360 offers. I would recommend this practice to anyone interested in invisalign. (also, my teeth looking amazing! :-))

update: I was contacted by Ortho 360 in early April (3ish months after my initial appointment). The caller was checking in to see if I had decided to proceed with treatment. When I informed her that I had already begun treatment with Dr. Nelson because I never heard back from their office, she seemed surprised and was apologetic. I’m still very happy that I went with Dr. Nelson, but perhaps my experience at Ortho 360 was an exception.
