Suzanne and her team have been a part of so many events for our clients as well as for our own agency. With each event or party she details to every inch of the theme, from bank ribbon cutting ceremonies to our agency events. Not only does the food and drinks she provides have to be perfect, but the surroundings need to entertain the eye. The spaces that she touches transform with each event. You never want your guests to get bored! Everything is visually fabulous.

Suzanne and her team helped me create the Austin Food Magazine Friendsgiving party, which became one of the most memorable Thanksgiving parties I’ve ever been a part of. Every aspect of the event was fantastic from the food all the way down to the décor and atmosphere. Suzanne has the gift of providing excellence in everything she touches and it definitely showed in our event. I can’t wait to work with her again in the near future.

Suzanne was my «wedding planner.» She is disorganized, unresponsive, and does not listen to special requests. Checklists, timelines, and communication are not her strong suit. In fact, my wedding was an 1.5 hours late. The bus drivers refused to drive to the venue, even though she supposedly did a «walk through» with the owner of the bus company. She didn’t share a detailed menu with my caterer so our first tasting was a complete bomb. After I reached out to the caterer directly (Kurant Events), they nailed it because they understood what I was looking for. The heirloom candelabra that I gave her to put on the cake table — a tradition in my family — never made it out of the case. In fact, she put the cake on top of the candelabra case. I can say more, but the last straw was she was truly a guest at my wedding, not a leader. The sad thing about weddings, is you only get one chance. If I had to do it again, I would run fast from Suzanne and her promises.

Upon first meeting Suzanne, we instantly felt like we were in good hands.
We flew into Austin from Chicago and had planned on meeting with a different caterer. Long story short, they had our tasting scheduled for another weekend and made it seem like they were squeezing us in. I had a bad feeling from the start, so I contacted Suzanne on a whim… and we couldn’t have lucked out more. Everything happens for a reason. She’s a class act and really took the time to describe her delicious food menus, share her design ideas, as well as truly get to know us as people. That’s the only way to get a grasp on what kind of event you’re seeking and Suzanne goes above and beyond.
Our wedding took place at Star Hill Ranch and the owner (Adam) was absolutely thrilled to hear we hired Suzanne. In his own words, «She’s THE best caterer in all of Austin». Our guests couldn’t have agreed more. Truth be told, I’ve never recalled anyone talking about the food at a wedding, BUT everyone keeps complimenting ours (and it was almost a month ago). Promise we’re not just saying this, THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!!
One major concern for me was planning a wedding from miles away. Being in Chicago, it was tough to balance everything in Austin. Suzanne really stepped in and helped in more ways than I can describe. Truly pitched in from our rehearsal dinner… to ordering our alcohol… to scheduling a makeup artist. I’m from south Texas, but it’s been years since I’ve lived there, so it was so nice to get her advice on so many levels.
Her palette is sophisticated (and accommodates for all budgets), her style impeccable, and she is reliable beyond belief. Not only that, her staff is remarkable. Perfect service, sharp as tacks, and dressed so professionally. We couldn’t have asked for more. If we could do it over, we would do it exactly the same. And if we ever throw another event in Austin, our first call would be to Suzanne. Meet her once and you’ll have your caterer/​planner for life.
