Way Construction Services

Way Construction Services did some work on my home on an insurance claim. They repaired a roof leak, and repaired and painted the ceiling. Unfortunately, the paint subcontractors damaged my wood floor. Way staff was very professional in the manner in which they followed up by attempting to repair and then finally replacing the floor.
It was frustrating dealing with the subcontractor’s insurance company because it refused to pay the claim, but Dale Carr and Thomas Mendoza with Way both assured me that they would take care of it. They were very good about promptly returning all my calls, letting me choose the replacement wood flooring, scheduling the work at my convenience, and keeping me informed every step of the Way!
I can’t say enough about their efforts to make sure I was completely satisfied with their work, ultimately at great cost to Way. I would highly recommend Way Construction Services to anyone that needs remodeling or insurance reconstruction work done.

We got a broken window by a kid so we called our insurance and they sent this company to board up the window while we replace it as the incident happened during the evening. They arrived and started working on it… they took over 4 hours just to do a very crappy job. They just set a plywood up on the window frame with no anchors rather than 2 (yes two!) nails that were not event nailed to anything! So the board could be easily removed at all times.
Besides the crappy work they did, the exaggerated amount of time for such lame job was just senseless and on top of that, they would go in and out of our house several times during that time, so I wonder what was the reason for them to enter our house if all the work was done outside? I was very uncomfortable they entering the house that many times as it was late at night (almost midnight).
Also, they did a lot of noise which doesn’t make sense for the work they did. We expected to have a very professional job after hearing all the noise and the amount of time they took, but the outcome on the morning was totally the opposite, we were completely surprised of what a crappy job they did and to have had them doing all that noise for over 4 hours, and they worst thing is that they charged over $ 450 bucks for their lame work.
Please do not take these guys even when the insurance company point you to them, they are not professionals. I ended up doing a better work boarding up the window myself for less than 30 bucks…

I had some water damage that required me to go though home owners insurance. My insurance agent offered to set me up with a contractor to make my home restoration painless and stress free.
Enter Way Construction. I was given the name of my contractor «Thomas at Way Construction». He came by the house and was very nice and pointed out the various things that my insurance adjustor missed. He was very reassuring about being able to get my house back into perfect shape.
We talked about my priorities and timelines. I needed some work done in my laundry room and new hardwood flooring. I told him that my laundry room was priority one and he promised me that it would be no problem to get that done early the following week so that it would be ready for the weekend. Once the laundry room was put back together we could start to look at the flooring. I was HIGHLY impressed.
Then the bottom fell out. Thomas became increasingly difficult to get into contact with. He ignored my emails and was slow at returning phone calls. He kept making promises about it being done and that «this meeting will be this day» and «I will have my foreman call you on that day». The end result is that by the time the weekend came, he stopped responding completely to me, no foreman had ever called and my laundry room is still torn apart.
I contacted my agent who apologized and said that «sometimes contractors can get busy». Regardless, I am no longer working with Way Construction (I will find my own contractor) for this project or for any project in the future.
