My a/​c decided to die on the hotest week ever! and I called around, no one can get to my house until 1 week later. So I decided to drop into Garoken when I went to the market and Donna save me, got a new capacitor and voila, it worked again. Great services. Highly recommended.

I was very impressed with the initial phone contact. Donna Jordan came out within 48 hours to give us a quote for a new electric furnace. She was sensitive and caring. We had no heat and my brother had just begun chemotherapy. She offered to bring portable heaters until we could get an installation.
We went with a different company And a cheaper option but were positively impressed.

Excellent service! Tech arrived right on time and at the start of the arrival window. He was courteous and professional and unclogged the drain line as part of the tune-​up service. A great local company with reasonable prices. Highly recommended for sure!

Garoken installed our furnace in 2007. We called them after hours and the answering service said they would get us to a tech. I couldn’t believe it when Donna herself called me back. I told her about my issue and she told me the charge to have someone come out. She asked if I could send her pics to their email of what I was talking about. I asked her if I could send them in a text, she let me send pics to her phone. In a matter of minutes she called me and told me I was only missing a small rubber item. She said if I couldn’t find it to let her know. Well, a day later we just found it and thanks to Donna we saved money. This is truly Amazing customer service and I want to thank Donna and the team at Garoken. You have a customer for life.

I called and the person on the phone walked me through several steps before having someone come out. She was very patient with my ignorance of furnace talk. She helped me find my furnace and it turns out it was just a switch that was off. When I do need real help these will be the people I call!

We just had the best customer service experience from Garoken today. We woke up this morning (Sunday) with no heat. I left messages with 6 heating repair companies. The answering service at Garoken let me know that they didn’t have anyone who could come out to service my furnace, but took my information so they could schedule me on Monday. Donna, the owner, called me back pretty quickly and let me know that the office is closed on Sundays, but she had just stopped in and checked messages. She quickly pinpointed the igniter as the problem and let me know she’d stick around so we could stop in and pick up the part. It was exactly what we needed! My husband switched it out and we were back in business for only $ 40. We were getting quotes for after-​hours service calls that started at $ 150, not including parts and labor at time and a half. Donna was a life saver — knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating. We will use Garoken for heating and a/​c in the future, as well as recommend them to our friends.

I was getting my roof replaced and the roofer had a concern about the furnace chimney. The guys from Garoken came out inspected it for no charge! They could not have been more friendly and helpful. I later got a furnace quote from them. it was $ 4000.00 less than the Costco quote for a lower end model. When they installed the new furnace they were great?! An incredibly professional installation. They were everything you would want clean, professional, on time, quick and friendly. I am completely satisfied with their work nine months later no problems and no callbacks. From my research the key to a good furnace is proper installation. If you want proper installation and a good price call Garoken!

Thanks to Garoken for saving me from the mercenaries.
My furnace stopped working last weekend and I called two of the service dealers advertised on the NW Natural Gas site and was quoted such outrageous prices, I had to let the public know that both Columbia NW and Sunset have mercenary practices. To replace my hot surface ignitor Sunset wanted $ 160 for a diagnostic and $ 258 for the part, Columbia NW wanted $ 150 for the diagnostic and $ 191 for the part. I ultimately went to Garoken Energy and got the part myself for $ 40 (it’s $ 24 at
). I am very disappointed that NW Natural Gas website recommends such mean and dishonest service people.
BTW a Garoken Service call was $ 90
