Pro’s: The pizza is the bomb dot com — thick crust, great toppings, sweet sauce. The prices are ridiculously low — ~$ 13 for their large specialties. The service is fast and on time — when they say 20 minutes they mean 20 minutes. Con’s: The place is a complete dump — like something from behind the Iron Curtain circa 1975. The staffers, though polite, aren’t big on the social graces. Pro’s win!

Disappointed, New to Bedford! Ordered food to my home Bedford, delivery driver did not want to «Go that far?» Come on, your dead center of town… LAZY…

Keep in mind that this is «Chicago-Style» pizza, not thin-crust. If you like thick-crust pizza, this is the only place in the area that serves it. Nothing special about their pizza, thick or thin. It’s perfectly adequate and there are a number of toppings to make it a little more interesting. The trouble is that you find yourself thinking that there HAS to be a better pizza place in Bedford and there is — Domino’s. Domino’s is nothing special either but it’s better than Pizza Express and that probably tells you all you need to know.

Quiet little pizza/sub place on Loomis St., not exceptionally noticeable as its in more of a residential area, but that doesn’t make it any less delicious! I’ve only had the pizza but its always been easy to order, they give accurate pick up times, and it appears to be a family owned business. They are pleasant and polite, they’re food is yummy and I’m happy to give this small business owner my money over the tired chain options. Great place to stop by for lunch or when picking up pizza for family night!

The pizza and service is great. Have been ordering from them for years and have never been disappointed! Greek style pizza.

As the legend says«woohoo! as good as it gets!» My previous review was benched because they thought I was either a robot or just ‘bought’. I don’t even know the owner’s name. What I DO know is that we’re getting pizza again tonight because we prefer it to the 3 other pizza places in town. Mr. Owner can be grumpy, but Mrs. Owner is a peach.

Known affectionately as Pizza Grease or Grease Balls, Pizza Express is my go to sub place in Bedford. The pizza is good but nothing special but the subs are a great value(less than 5 $ for a good sized large) and taste great. The owner is pretty ornery but a nice guy at heart and his wife(i think?) is a sweet heart who has let me get away with not having quite enough money on multiple occasions. Don’t be fooled by the rundown appearance, this place is a diamond in the rough.

Very Hidden, Great all around food. Everything is made fresh. I would recommend the pepper and onion pizza, made with fresh everything on a nice hand tossed crust, the meatball sub, coated in fresh sauce and delicious meatballs, and the chicken finger dinner served with crispy chicken and great salad. Cant forget the world famous onion rings either. No seating, all takeout/delivery.
