History

Established in 1887.

My office is located in north Berkeley at 2095 Rose Street.

Mason-​McDuffie Real Estate was founded in Berkeley in 1887. The company created the Claremont and Northbrae «residential parks» in Berkeley and the St. Francis Wood neighborhood in San Francisco. Duncan McDuffie was a noted conservationist and an early president of the Sierra Club.

In 2010, Mason-​McDuffie merged with Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate.

Realtors tend to be Independent Contractors who affiliate with an office or company. As such, they «own» their businesses.

I help people buy and sell real estate, primarily in the east bay but sometimes in San Francisco or Marin.

I have references and letters of recommendation from my wonderful clients. I have met many lovely people in my real estate career.

I’m a graduate of U.C. Berkeley and, in the past, have been active in the Berkeley-​Oakland-​Piedmont Club of the Cal Alumni Association.

I was raised in Denver, Colorado and have lived in New York City and in a number of Bay Area cities including Berkeley, Piedmont and San Francisco.

My pastimes include reading, watching good films, cooking and listening to music.

I’m interested in anthropology and history. I like to try to keep up with advancements in the sciences.

I enjoy learning about the people I meet.

Friendships are important to me.

I enjoy Nature.
