I established Imagine Sonoma Landscape Architects, Inc. in Sonoma in 1995 upon leaving japan and moving the the Bay Area. In 2008 I moved the business to Berkeley.

I completed my undergraduate work in industrial design at the University of Cincinnati and my graduate degree at Harvard. Prior to moving to California, I lived and worked in Japan and Holland for over 5 years. My life and experiences overseas had a profound impact on me and are reflected in my work– through my mindful approach and careful attention to beauty.
