I believe that math does not have to be scary, and I love giving students the skills and confidence they need to succeed in their classes. I specialize in tutoring for math classes, including Pre-​Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-​Calculus, Trigonometry, Calculus, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, and Discrete Mathematics. I can also tutor for general study skills, and basic elementary and middle school classes.

History

Established in 2010.

I began offering private tutoring services in 2010 while living in Sacramento, CA. I transferred to UC Berkeley in 2011 and continued to offer tutoring to my fellow UC Berkeley classmates as well as local high school students while attending school. I graduated in May of 2013 and now tutor full-​time.

I grew up in Sacramento, CA, and it was there that I began tutoring. I assisted friends and classmates with their studies throughout High School and College. I’ve always enjoyed delving into academic subjects (receiving straight A’s in High school and a 3.9 GPA at UC Berkeley!), but even more I love to share my understanding with others. I transferred to UC Berkeley in 2011 and in addition to tutoring I taught high school level math classes through the UC Early Academic Outreach Program and worked inside classrooms at Berkeley High School and King Middle School. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Teaching in May 2013. In addition to mastering many upper-​division math subjects, In that program I closely studied both the content and teaching strategies of pre-​algebra through calculus, and am excited to offer that knowledge in my tutoring services!
