Ruth Caspary has 17 years experience teaching with 10 running the business for Salsa with Juan. She has now started her own venture, Latin Connection Dance. She believes in her students and brings out the confidence in them. Her Salsa classes are about having fun, meeting new friends and of course learning to dance!

Latin Connection Dance is also about reaching out and touching something new. Learning to dance Salsa, Bachata, Cha-​cha-​cha, Cumbia, Rumba and more has changed many people’s lives and Ruth Caspary has been creating such small miracles for many people all over the world.

History

Established in 2014.

Opened in October 2014, Ruth Caspary created her own dance business in response to the ending of her partnership with Salsa with Juan. Ruth is a Master Instructor and now uses her teaching, marketing and creative talents to build her own business, Latin Connection Dance. Ruth’s goal is to create students who not only are able to dance socially with anyone anywhere in the world but to impart to them the joy of dancing and connecting to the passionate Salsa and Bachata music. In addition and as the business grows, Ruth looks forward to choreographing for her own student and semi-​pro teams and traveling with her students to other places to dance and experience new culture. She is a dance ambassador and a role model for the community.

Ruth Caspary is not new to the Salsa and Latin Dance instruction business. She comes from Los Angeles with a diverse background in dance as a student, performer and teacher and has been teaching for 17 years. Ruth was taught by some of the best instructors in California and New York and has turned her experience into Latin Connection Dance, a Latin dance instruction business located in Oakland, CA. Ruth has taught individuals, couples, groups and massive crowds to dance in almost every format imaginable. She has traveled the world teaching students how to dance and emphasizes good technique to all dancers. Ruth is very approachable and has gained much recognition as a leader in the dance community. She is inspired by the passionate music, the enthusiastic students and the creative growth teaching provides.
