Time Capsule Studio

This is great photo studio shop.
We went there for my kids to take photos with friends.
Total six kids (8 years old) in our group.
There are 3 individual studio rooms in Time Capsule with 5 background colors to choose from. You can use all background colors during your sessions.
Tons of great props for 8 years old to enjoy (stuffed animal duck, cow boy/​girls, flags, etc.
We ended up with around 200 great photos.
We are definitely coming back again.
Next time we will try photo session for family.
They also carry great aluminum metal prints.
It will be ready 15 minutes after you select the photo you want to use.

This place was so much fun and the lady working was very attentive and sweet. The studio is clean and organized and it’s not awkward at all since you take your own photos! It’s nice that you can take pictures as you please and you aren’t forced to order your prints there! We took 180+pictures within an hour and received them a little over 3 hours after leaving the studio.
There are also MANY fun props. Definitely recommend and would return again!

I took my two volleyball teams to have the most memorable end of season celebration. This was the best decision I have ever made. The girls had a blast! 16 girls, unlimited photos for an hour, instant download photos onto your USB drive, costumes/​props provided and excellent customer service. I couldn’t ask for more. The parents and I were emailed links to the photos and I have my USB drive filled with all the amazing photo memories. The girls laughed and enjoyed every minute of the studio. I highly recommend this space for groups that enjoy having fun with photos and photo props. It’s like a photo booth at a wedding, only wayyyyy better! You can plan photo poses or just wing it. We did a little of both.
I loved all the costumes: Stitch, Minnie Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Spiderman, Superman, various props, emojiis and more :) The studio was clean, well organized and the staff was extremely friendly. Thank you Time Capsule. I will be back again.

For my husband and I’s two year anniversary we were looking for something fun and pretty cheap to memorize the time. I found this place on Unilocal and thought it sounded awesome. I booked an appointment right away.
When we got there we were switched into a different room because of technical difficulties but it was no big deal. We got to raid the costume room and really had a great time. My husband thought that there was no way we would take the whole hour to take pictures, but way too soon we heard the tap on the door letting us know our session was almost over.
When we got home we had the link to our pictures and were pleasantly surprised how they turned out. I am so happy we did this and I can’t wait to come back for some birthday or anniversary.

I made a print on aluminum. It came out beautifully. The aluminum print made a great gift at a decent price.

What an awesome place!
My fiancé and I were looking for a place to do some casual, silly engagement photos. This place was perfect! I got a LivingSocial deal to get an hour session for two people for only $ 25. We brought a USB to store the pictures on and some sentimental items for the photos.
The staff was so friendly and helpful. They showed us how the camera works, and let us use any props we wanted from their giant prop closet! Tons of cute and funny stuff.
We took over 200 photos in our 1-​hour session and had tons of great ones! It was a really fun experience and we got some photos that are just perfect.
This would also be a fun place to just go with some friends or family members, grab some silly props and costumes, and have a fun time together!

Let me start of by saying that I got contacted by the studio to come by for a free photo shoot. I was so excited and based on the all the great reviews I wanted to see what this place was all about! Upon arrival Florence was super nice and greeted us right away. The studio is small but the place is really well laid out. It was clean, organized, bright and modern. This place is a self portrait studio, which means you are given you own room and take photos yourself! They also have a large room full of tons of props you can choose from to make your photos even more memorable!
The price is $ 20 per person for an hour long shoot and they even do custom shots in different types of frames (wood, aluminum etc) from the photos you take at the studio or from an iPhone. All of their prices are very reasonable and you can even order online! Definitely check this place out for professional quality photos for yourself, family, friends, holidays, birthdays, graduations, parties, business, engagement, or just for fun! I will definitely be coming back here again!

This place is a hidden gem in Berkeley! We love our experience at this photo studio!
Staffs are super friendly. They will explain the whole process to you and show you how the professional equipments work. They also offer hundreds of props and costumes, which make the experience even more fun. We had a blast taking crazy random pictures.
Prices are very reasonable. They will give discount to party of 6 or more– so bring your friends!
We also ordered some aluminum and wood prints during our visit. They are the perfect gift ideas!

I seldom give reviews at Unilocal but I had to come in here and highly recommend this store because they deserve all attentions for their innovative business and a heart to bring us professional shots at an unbelievable price!
So I have been wanting to take some professional portraits but i could never decide because all the studios outside are extremely pricey. Then last month I saw my friend posted his studio graduation pictures and found out that this place basically lets you take unlimited photos at their studio at a fix rate of $ 20! And they allowed me to bring in my suits and any other outfits for any occasion!!! They also have a large collection goofy costumes.
The store owners florence and victor are very friendly and easy to talk to. They were very patient on teaching me to use the remote. I ended up taking almost 100 pictures and bring them all home in a usb! I am so happy to have found this place for my future professional photo shoots!

I walked past this studio on my way to class everyday. I thought it looked very interesting, so I made an appointment for taking pictures for my 3-​year anniversary with my boyfriend.
There were lots of lots of props, 3 different backdrop colors, and the lighting was really good! They set up everything for us. There’s no photographer — we can take our own photos with their setup. It was really fun! I highly recommend this place, and it’s a great place for a whole group of friends, or couples, or everyone.

Stumbled on this place about a month back in search of a nice graduation gift for a dear friend. I was drawn by the unique and resilient design of the print on metal and stopped in the store to check it out. I ordered two prints (5×7 and 8×10) by emailing the original photos. 5×7 was $ 15, and 8×10 was $ 25, which is not bad at all.
The photos were ready by the next morning and were beautifully wrapped in cardboard boxes with twine! (just an FYI that the metal stand for the metal prints are to be separately bought, which I did). My friend was happy to receive them. Definitely coming back. It’s an awesome little gift for friends :)
Design in the studio is also very clean and nicely done. Tons of props and nice DLSR setup if you want to do unlimited photoshoot for $ 20/​hr.

Wow, where do I begin. This was such an amazing and FUN experience! The staff is incredible — helpful, friendly and just overall wonderful. I came to the studio with my family (there were 12 of us!) and we got incredible photos. I’m so impressed with the quality and all you have to do is bring your USB or external drive and you get the pictures INSTANTLY. Throw JC Penny and Sears portrait studios out the window LOL — this is where you should be. I will be back soon!

When my friends suggested to come to this place I was a little reluctant because I had never been to a studio before and didn’t know what to expect. We wanted to take some nice graduation photos together and thought their $ 20 per person per hour all-​you-​can-​shoot package was a pretty good deal.
WE HAD A BLAST! We ended up having SO MUCH FUN! They put you in a room with everything set up so it’s easy to operate and you have privacy. Their equipment was professional, the photos looked amazing. They also had a lot of props and costumes for us to play with. Aside from taking fun and playful photos, this place is also perfect for taking professional portraits for linkedin profiles, which we did since we were all dressed up. In the end of the photo session, they let us choose any photos to be printed onsite and/​or turn them into an aluminum print, which looks beautiful unlike traditional photo frames and we decided to do both because why not.
I had a fun, relaxing and overall wonderful experience. The owners were friendly and helpful throughout the entire time. I definitely recommend anyone to check out this cool spot especially any graduating seniors like myself.

This place might be hidden in the dark alley of Sather Lane, but it’s one of the best designed studios I have been to. You can tell the owners put a lot of effort into making things look nice, and this definitely reflects in their service.
Victor and Florence are both very friendly and flexible with all the demands that me and my friends had when making our appointment. The studio itself is divided into 3 rooms for photo sessions, and another one that is FULL of props and costumes. We had a 1-​hour session for $ 20 per person, and they mean it when they said «unlimited» pictures. The limiting factor is then how many pictures/​how fast you can take those pictures in that hour. Definitely a fun activity to do as a group — we were a group of 3 and we tried to use as many props and costumes as we could. We ended up taking 40 pictures or so, which are of very good quality, and they let you take all of them home in a flashdrive! You don’t get a print out (yet, according to Victor), but you can easily just go to Target and print them out for like 15 cents each.
They also provide special printing services that I haven’t seen before — aluminum and wood prints. They displayed some products by their window, and they definitely look very classy and they seem like great ideas for gifts (graduation, wedding, housewarming, etc).
Overall I had a very fun experience at the studio, and me and my friends are all very satisfied with the service and the products they offer. Will definitely visit another time and bring more friends!

This studio is different than any kind of photo studio I have visited before. Basically, you are allowed to take as many photos as you want in one photo session, and own all the pictures with only $ 20 per person! Not to mention that you get to take the pictures yourself with their automated system. Their equipments are actual professional equipments too.
The owners are very nice. They told me they were Cal Alumni (GO BEARS!). I am very excited to see them coming back to Berkeley and run a business after they graduate!
I am most impressed by their aluminum prints. I have never seen it before. So basically you can print your pictures on an aluminum metal plate. The quality is awesome! I placed an order in studio, got my pictures printed, showed my friend when I was grabbing dinner her, and random people around us just keep asking us where we got it! That’s how impressive the prints are! And most importantly, it’s only $ 25 for an 8“x10″ print! I can’t wait to go back to the studio and order more prints for my friends who are graduating soon!

Great customer services! $ 20 for senior portraits is way cheaper than Lauren studio!
