We specialize in tutoring for elementary, middle, and high school subjects. We have tutors for all subjects — math, science, english, and social studies. Test Preparation in SAT & ACT is also available.

History

Established in 2006.

Exothermic Tutoring has been open for business since 2006. Originally focused on middle school math and earth science in Brooklyn, we have branched out to all grade levels in all subjects. We cover all of Long Island, and will come to Manhattan and Staten Island as well.

Since branching out, we’ve grown to include all grade level test preparation, including SAT and ACT. All our staff members are teachers certified from New York State.

Meet the Business Owner

Michael H.

Business Owner

As a certified teacher and father of five elementary, middle, and high school children, I know what it takes to be successful academically. I have taught at the middle and high school level since 2006, helping to navigate students in science and math through difficult coursework.

In addition, I am retired from the U.S. Air Force with twenty years of service, including two combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. I have taught in both North Carolina and New York in middle and high school.
