Specialties

Caddell Prep provides students with the knowledge and confidence necessary to excel in school and on tests through specialized tutoring services. Based in Staten Island, we offer private 1-​on-​1 sessions or small group (8 or less students) sessions in order to better cater to your child’s needs. These small class sizes allow each student to receive the instructor’s attention, as well as allowing students the ability to ask questions during class. Practice tests give students the experience to be mentally prepared for the actual test and also provide insight into each student’s strengths and weaknesses. We currently offer prep for the SAT, SHSAT (tech test), and TACHS (Catholic high school test) as well as tutoring in math, science, reading, and writing. Call to set up a session today! With a BS in Mechanical Engineering from NJIT, Glyn Caddell has been tutoring privately since 2006 before officially starting Caddell Prep LLC.

Glyn is the president of the Staten Island Technical High School Alumni Association and a member of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce.

Sent my son there for SAT prep. He found the course to be very helpful. Small classes and attentive teachers created a good learning environment. The owner was very accommodating in regards to educational scheduling conflicts and all in all an excellent prep course. The proof was in my sons SAT scores. With two older children who have been to several other prep class on Staten IsIand, this was by far the best. I highly recommend this company.
