Dr. Ehsan Ali, MD is Board Certified in Internal Medicine in Beverly Hills, California. He also completed a specialized training in Geriatric Medicine. Upon completing his medical training from NYU, Dr. Ali Ehsan moved to Los Angeles. His work experience includes being a physician on staff with the Cedar-​Sinai Medical Group, where he was a primary care doctor. He also has worked as a «Hospitalist», which is the care of patients while they are hospitalized and suffering from acute/​critical illnesses. In his spare time, Dr. Ali volunteers at free medical clinics in inner city areas, to help provide medical care to uninsured patients. Dr. Ali also is a clinical instructor to medical students from UCLA.

Ehsan Ali, M.D. completed his medical training at NYU, and specializes in Internal Medicine as well as Geriatric Medicine. He see’s all patients ages 16 and over. He has hospital privileges at Cedars Sinai Medical Center as well as Olympia Medical Center.

In his free time, Dr. Ali volunteers in various free clinics to help care for patients that cannot afford insurance.

He is an avid runner and enjoys living/​promoting a healthy lifestyle.

After years of being frustrated with doctors due to their lack of compassion, communication, or thoroughness, I found Dr. Ali. I went into his office expecting to be just another patient he had to get through, and left feeling like for the first time, I was truly CARED for. Dr. Ali was extremely personable right off the bat, took his time to listen to my concerns, asked thorough and pertainable questions, and was intentional with my visit. I felt heard. Even though the office was busy, I didn’t feel like I was being rushed through my visit and he made sure to address everything. He also took the time to explain things to me instead of throwing medical terms at me that I would normally nod and smile to. He is also amazing at following up, taking the time to call you himself with test results… not a common thing. He takes medical care to a whole new level of treatment as a patient and a PERSON. Not only is Dr. Ali a knowledgable professional, but he is attentive, caring, and most importantly, reliable.
And bonus, his office is impeccably clean and organized, with a staff that is organized, accommodating, and helpful.
If you are looking for an incredible and reliable primary doctor, I don’t recommend anyone else!

I loved everything about my visit to Dr. Ali’s office. Everyone knows how much of a pain it can be to see a new doctor for the first time, but this was painless. I made my appointment online through zoodoc and got a confirmation relatively quickly.
The day of my appointment everything went smoothly! His staff was very nice and proactive and they got me in to see Dr. Ali almost immediately. I had to fill out some paperwork but it really wasn’t a lot.
Dr. Ali was very professional and nice. He got straight to the point and addressed all my concerns no matter how minute they may have seemed to me. When I left, I felt reassured that I had found a place that should I have any health scares or issues would take really good care of me!

Great staff. Friendly and helpful. Dr Ali had great bedside manner, conducted a thorough exam and explained everything in both medical and layman terms. Did all the testing I needed on site which was great. Highly recommend him if you don’t have a primary care doc.

We were in Beverly Hills for the day when my wife was not feeling very well at all. Her doctor is down in Manhattan Beach and we couldn’t drive all the way back down and needed to be seen right away. We found Dr. Ali on Unilocal and were able to get an appointment for the same day, and within the hour! We showed up, filled out the forms, seen right away without having to wait for hours like at most doctors offices of urgent cares. Dr. Ali himself is very genuine, and attentive to my wife’s concerns. I may switch to him as my primary care physician/​primary care doctor even though its a bit of a drive. Considering I only go to the doctor once a year or so, I dont mind making the trek out to this part of town. I was told he even makes housecalls, who knew that even existed anymore?

Absolutely amazing Doctor! He is always available when you need him, his office is very very clean as well. He made me feel so comfortable and will answer any questions you have.

After coming abroad from home, I had come to home and deal with a serious problem to overcome. Knowingly that I cannot continue my life depending on such poison. I loved my family too much. I was to know that I had the best insurance that would be covered appreciatively from his consideration of helping you to the fullest. I was so serious at first because I have not once asked for help about my mental illness that lead me to this horrid addiction.
I sat in the room, feel the worst of all of. The nurse took my temperature and thought I had a fever, sadly to say I was embarrassed and said yes I have a cold. Until Dr. Ali came in with the most natural smile knowing that things will be good for me. I had hope. I am normally the type is afraid to ask for him but yes I was timid at first, the I spilled. I was withdrawling and he broke down the routine he will help me get off it. He was had an energy to bring a weak person to life again. It was my first time and I felt for once help in my perspective exited.
Few months in I visited and he could tell the different except I still had anxiety problem but he explain that it is a natural thing and that I should just continue doing what I love without this weight on my shoulder. He even remember my birthday! And this years birthday was certainly different this time.
Point is, Dr. Ali is horrendously an amazing welcoming character even when life can be a little gloomy. I would walk out of his office feeling a little more hope. And that’s exactly what all of us need. A little reminder that help is always there for us.

Here is the truth… The moment I met Dr. Ali I felt something amazing about him. I felt as though I was in a therapist session because of the fact finding questions doctors don’t bother to again anymore. He got down to it ALL!!! I say that because he gets it. We place doctors on high, rightfully so they deserve it. Dr Ali is extremely professional, makes you feel like you are talking with a friend… In all actually he is properly diagnosing you, not treating you like another dollar bill. His level of understanding and compassion far surpasses any doc I have ever seen. Dr. Ali does not over or under prescribe … He properly diagnosis his patients. Dr. Ali has a level of ethics that is far superior to his peers (especially) within his demographic. Dr. Ali is so involved with his patients he will email or call you right back himself. So if you live in the LA area (heck if you live in China) Make Dr. Ali your MD. His staff is kind too. #amazing!

The MOST Amazing Dr. Anywhere, after Moving to CA & bc I I Moved a Few Times, I Never Found a Good Primary Care Dr., Let Alone a GREAT One, the 1st Time I called and it was close to 5pm and Not Only did He Offer to see me that day, which I politely Decline, He actually Picked up the Phone Call Himself and most of my Subsequent Calls as well, also he is Super Friendly-​even when I was a Total Ditz and Couldn’t Find His New Office causing me to be Late for my 1st Appt., l, and there Rarely is a Long Wait Time if any, I couldn’t be any Happier and Recommend Him to my New Neighbors & Friends-​even my Friends that have lived in LA and Beverly Hills their entire lives were Stunned at the High Level of Service and Help he Provided :) Thank You So Much Dr., I Never thought I would Find a Local Dr. as Great As, Let Alone Better than My Chicago Primary Care Dr.

I met with Dr. Ali twice this week, once at the Brighton Way office and once at his La Cienega office. I was extremely impressed with his care and level of attentiveness. I went there for the IV Hydration /​IV Vitamin treatment. While there are various places in Los Angeles that offer IV therapy, I am much more comfortable knowing a physician is administering it in a medical office. Both times he put the IV in himself, and sat and waited to make sure the drip was going properly and that there was no issue. He also came back into the room frequently to check on me. While I do have an internist already, who is also a good doctor, I will definitely be keeping Dr. Ali’s number in my phone. Good doctors are hard to find and he’s awesome.

If Unilocal would allow me to give this Doctor more than 5 stars, I will never think twice to do so.
What brought me in the first place to schedule with Dr. Ali is one night when I arrived from a long flight and I needed to see a doctor for a sickness. I was surprised to find out there is a Dr. that I will find late at night. And since that appointment, I never saw any other physician.
Dr. Ehsan Ali is so compassionate and understanding. He has the best bedside manners, treatment approaches and medical ethics. I never hesitated to agree with his recommendations because I know in fact that he will offer the best for his patients.
He is the type of Dr. that will listen well to you, remembers everything about you for the next visit and picks up the phone when you call his office.
I’m so blessed to have him as my physician. Along side with his great team of nurses and front desk workers. You will be greeted with a warm welcome and smiles every time you step in the front door.
Trust my and everyone else’s recommendation in this page and pay him a visit next time you need a treatment or even just a check up.

This man to most is just a good doctor. To me, he means so much to me. Living in LA with no family close by, getting sick is always a pain. Getting really sick and almost dying from blot clots and complications from blood thinners is terrifying. Dr Ali was with me every step of the way, he answered my texts & calls in the middle of the night when I was afraid. He called ahead to the ER and helped secure me a bed with little wait time. He came to my house on 4th of July weekend with his family in the car to help me with IV fluids when I was desperate. He goes above and beyond and it’s not just because we pay him. He genuinely cares for his patients. If I ever leave LA, he will be one of the things I lament leaving the most. Knowing I have access to him day or night is such a comfort and a blessing. No amount of money is equal to his worth.

Dr. Ehsan Ali is exceptional. I have some complicated health issues that are a bit hard to manage and Dr. Ali takes the time to offer treatments such as IV Fluids & Vitamins at home that helps to limit and prevent ER Visits. He has been there every time I’ve needed him to be. No matter the time of day or night. Aside from my chronic health issues he has been able to help out with issues surrounding things like the flu or allergic reactions. He is one of the best in Los Angeles. His service is priceless.

I met Dr. Ali last year through a friend and before him I hadn’t found a doctor I liked in LA in the 3 years I’ve lived here. I have had two really bad sicknesses since meeting him and he was nothing but attentive to my care. He’s always quick to respond to my phone calls or emails. He genuinely cares about my well being and that is rare to find in this city. I even switched health insurances so could keep him as my regular doctor. He’s the best!
