Boston Threading

They always do an amazing job. I’m moving soon and I have no idea how I’m going to find anywhere as great as Boston Threading!

Quick and came out with a great shape. I was very happy and will be coming back again.

Really sad right now. Just left from there and my eyebrows are way too thin — the thinnest they’ve been since plucking in high school. I said I just wanted them cleaned up so not sure why she took such Liberty with them. You’re not supposed to mess with the shape with a cleanup. I wish I had said to please keep them as big as possible. How do you not know that women want bold brows these days? I’m just hoping they grow back to get back to my original shape. I won’t be coming here again and this is one of the first times such a strongly well reviewed place has disappointed me on Unilocal.:(

I had never gotten my eyebrows threaded before, and after complaining to my roommate, she recommended coming here. She bragged of how lovely the employees were and how nicely her eyebrows came out every time. I decided to try it out, and I am happy I did. My roommate was spot on with her explanation. After 2 years, I have yet to get my eyebrows threaded anywhere else.
The space is clean, the ladies are wonderful and I am so pleased every time with the shape of my brows.
Since starting coming here, they have raised the price from $ 10 to $ 12, still reasonable for the great job they do. They also have a punch card, for a free eyebrow thread every 10 visits!

My go-​to threading spot. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They have a stamp card — after 10 visits, you get your 11^th for free. My only complaint is sometimes they only have one girl working, and almost always, they have people waiting. With that being said, it can be a bit of a wait if you come during peak hours. Luckily my schedule is flexible so I can go at odd times.

I’ve been to see Ranju twice and she is awesome. She is the only person that can thread my brows the way I like them. I will be going back!

Love this place! The ladies are so friendly and their work is impeccable! I work right in the area and always run over on my lunch break– eyebrows are $ 12 and cannot be beat!

I have been coming here for 2 years now, the girls are super nice, quick, efficient, and most importantly give you the outcome of a clean beautiful brow.
They have a stamp card after 10 threads you get the 11^th free. The threading is $ 12 but only $ 10 if you use the Unilocal check in which is nice. They used to originally be $ 10 all the time but raised the price a few months ago.
I won’t go anywhere else or get my brows waxed again after coming here.

Just moved to Boston and needed to find a new eyebrow threading place– something that is no easy feat and usually takes a few tries. However, I found this place on the first go around and am so happy. The prices are extremely reasonable and Ranju is incredibly skilled and nice. If you’re in need of an eyebrow threader, (which you should since wax is awful on such thin and sensitive skin) look no further!

After trying various of eyebrow techs, RAJU was been god sent. She is amazing! Very helpful and honest. Thus far she’s been the best I’ve tried — I have very sparse brows after years of plucking, she slowly shaped my brows to their best shape and I couldn’t be anymore content. very clean parlor and a friendly atmosphere. The other girls are good too, but like I said — Raju is amazing give her a shot.

First, I have been here many times before. I’ve filled up a loyalty card and even received a free threading. I love Ranju and her friend (sorry, I don’t know her name) who works with her on Sundays. My eyebrows are always done so well and they are so nice and friendly.
However, today, I went on a Saturday evening instead. BAD decision. I walked in and one girl (girl A) sitting on the couch stares at me with a scowl on her face as if I trespassed into her home. I say, «Hi I’d like to get my brows done.» The other girl (girl B), who is nice, doesn’t seem to know much English, I assume, so the staring girl A translated for her.
Another customer came in and I couldn’t see, but girl A greeted her like a normal customer from what I could hear. What did I do wrong to not be treated the same way?
Girl B cleaned up my brows, but she ended up taking off some at the front of my brows. I’ve never had this happen in the many times I went here before. I was disappointed. I can only give her the benefit of the doubt that I had quite a bit of stray eyebrow hairs that needed to be threaded.
TLDR; I would come back here again on a Sunday (or any day) when Ranju and her nice friend work.

She did a good job on my eyebrows but I’m pissed that I paid more than double the amount for some eyebrowz powder, and once I got home and I looked it up online the product is actually less than $ 5. I felt ripped off and I gave her a tip too so she really played me.

This is hands down the best threading place in Boston. I used to go regularly and haven’t been as much as I’ve moved to Back Bay, but I love when I can still get to this place. My eyebrows always look great and the prices are reasonable.
Beware though, this place can get crowded if you go right after work or certain times on weekends, so try to plan for the off hours!

Hard to believe that an eyebrow place could have a 5 star review but this place is that good!!! It’s cheap, gentle and fast. As soon as I walked through the door I was directed to a chair. My eyebrows have never been so beautiful

My new go-​to threading place! Good service, skilled threading ladies, and convenient timings. The rate for eyebrow threading is pretty much the same as salons across Boston ($ 12). The ladies are pretty friendly too. I would definitely recommend this place! They even have a loyalty which they stamp every time you go. You get a free threading after the 9^th one.

Personally, I have been waxing for very long time. Unfortunately as my eyebrows have thinned and the shape almost annihilated by different aestheticians, I decided to get threaded. I did not make an appointment, I just did a walk in. I went in around 630, and there were several people ahead of me. The place closes at seven, but the aesthetician working worked through, she did not make any comments or complain in any way even though it was a Friday night. I showed her a picture and she made me beautiful. I am very grateful and my eyebrows are thickened haven’t looked better in a long time. I’ve gone back a second time. The second time I had Ranju and she was everything the reviews said. All the ladies are very lovely. I would definitely recommend this place!

This place is top notch!!! I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for awhile at different places in the Boston area with mixed results and now that I have found Boston Threading I can stop my wandering. Every time I come here my eyebrows look amazing and the ladies here are incredibly meticulous and detail oriented. Even if there is a line they don’t rush and take their time to make sure everything looks perfect. The price is right on top of everything. I will certainly keep coming back and I always make sure to recommend Boston Threading to anyone looking for a new place!

I haven’t gotten my eyebrows professionally done in about half a year (and felt like a cavewoman), I usually cleaned them up myself. And as my graduation and formals were approaching, I decided to let my brows grow out (it was very painful lol), and give Boston Threading a chance. Some of my girlfriends recommended me to try this place and I now am a believer.
I walked in on a random day and waited for the three ladies ahead of me to go. When it was finally my turn, Ranju greeted me with a friendly smile and asked me what I wanted. I told her I wanted my face to be clean and asked her if I should do full face or which areas I needed to get done? She told me my brows, a little bit of my forehead, and sides needed some touching up and off she went! She didn’t try to upsell me, which showed me just how genuine she is! She did my brows, forehead, sides, and even upper lip. She only charged me for my brows and sides because she said it wasn’t my full forehead and upper lip so she felt it wasn’t needed to charge me extra. My brows turned out great, I felt like a woman again!!! :D Plus points for Boston Threading!

Absolutely love this place!!! Eye brow threading is painful so be warned. However, once you get passed the first time, it can be addicting :) This place is rather small with two people working. Expect to wait. But where else can you find eye threading on the cheap?

They take care of you real well! I have been to threading places where the staff would only spend 3 minutes on me or they would make me bleed. But not this place — they take their time and try to make conversation with you. I love that they have a card to record how many times you come and after a certain number, they’ll give you a free one. Also, this is probably the only place that charges only $ 10 for threading. Other places charge $ 12 or more. *thumbs up*
The only con for me is that it is sooo far from where I live. I would come here often if I lived closer!
