I know Threading is best alternative for Waxing. Getting populararity of threading in this country and dealing with Eyebrow Threading and Shaping since childhood encourage me to open the business and serve my neibourers and people who loves to have their eyebrows shaped without using any chemical.

After getting tremendous succesl ‘Thread & Shape’ in Harvard Square, Eyebrow Threading in Brighton is started. In Brighton, when I found people are so supportive to neighbourhood business it encourage me to serve better. I really appreciate it.

Went here the other day and it was the best! Free parking right next to the shop. The women who did my brows was fantastic. She was extremely meticulous got every hair which many places don’t, she let me check to make sure I liked the way she was doing them. The best part was the aloe massage at the end, there was no redness you couldn’t even tell I had my eyebrows done. I was going some where else that charged double the price but this place is so much better

I have been coming here for years and always have had a great experience. They do a nice job and friendly staff.
However, today I stopped after work around 4:00 and the woman was just so rude. She started by telling me «‘your eyebrows are a mess.» The whole time I felt ridiculed and she was just very rough. Not my usual friendly and sweet experience which is a huge bummer.
I hope this changes!

The attractive and friendly young woman who did my brows months ago was 5 star fabulous! The Middle aged Indian woman who did them today was horrible. She gave me that «you stupid, overindulged American, I’ll give you every excuse for my poor job and tell you why it’s your fault your brows look uneven» attitude, then she went on to tell me «I did my best». No self respecting Indian woman would let her anywhere near her brows. Unless you see the young woman with the thick black hair and the pretty face, don’t bother going in.

Stopped in yesterday as a walk-​in, I usually get my eyebrows waxed but decided to try threading for a change. There was no wait, the price is right, and my eyebrows look beautiful. My only complaint is that the process was definitely a bit painful, but I assumed that was normal.

Worse threading experience I have ever had. I went here because overall the ratings were good. However, I should have read the reviews. I had the Indian lady, and she was ROUGH. The eyebrow threading hurt, a little bit more than usual, but the lip threading was the most painful I have ever had so far. I even got nauseous due to the pain, and let me tell you, I have a high pain tolerance. And now that I am at home, I can see that there is a spot on my eyelid that is bleeding. Not happy :(
Also, the shape of my eyebrows is very mehhh, it is not well defined and thicker than I would like it to be– but to be fair, that is partially my fault as I did not specify what I wanted.
The only reason why I give it two stars instead of one is because the aloe gel they used really brought the redness down fast. Usually my eyebrows/​lip area are red until I get home and wash my face, but my redness went away in a couple of minutes. Literally the only good part.
Will try other places first, or if I am desperate, will make an appointment with the other worker.

I’ve been coming here for over a year.
I’ve gotten my eyebrows done here by different women, and so far I have no complaints. Back in January or February, one lady made them a bit thinner than I’m accustomed to, but they were beautifully shaped and the process was relatively painless, so I didn’t mind it too much.
I went back this afternoon and was attended by a woman I’d never seen before. She was super nice and asked me a lot of questions before getting to work. She checked several times to make sure she was doing what I wanted. I’m really happy with the way they turned out and appreciate the attentive service I received.
Overall, this has become my go-​to place for eyebrow threading. It’s close to my apartment and less expensive than the place I used to frequent near Coolidge Corner. The service here is always pleasant and quick — I’ve never had to wait more than five minutes to get my eyebrows done.
I’ll definitely keep coming back!

I’m a big fan of supporting small, local businesses — extra kudos if they’re women-​run! I’m also a big fan of sporting clean, shapely brows. So, really, this place is a major home run in my book. It is literally the ONLY place I go to for my eyebrows, and I just couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.
I’ve had my brows done here by several different women, and some are softer spoken and ‘gentler’ than others, but they’re all REALLY good at what they do. They always ask about what I want, and check with me once they’re done to make sure I’m happy with the way my arches look. And, yep, I’m always happy!
It’s a no-​nonsense, no frills type of joint, and that’s fine with me, for a service that usually only runs about 5 minutes, at most. It’s my little slice of relaxation. And for that, I’d gladly shell out $ 10-​$ 12 (sometimes they run promos) + tip (I always tend to tip ~30% because, hello? These prices?!) for a consistently AWESOME job. Plus, parking’s around the corner and FREE.
Thumbs up, ladies. You’ve got a patron for life!

I got the Naplese woman and she was quick and didn’t hurt me.
I myself am of Indian decent and have thick hair and am picky about how I like my eyebrows done. I think she did a good job, but not amazing but overall it was good.
I was pretty satisfied until she asked me if a strange questions out of nowhere. She said «did you sleep?» and I said «i don’t understand», to which she replied «sleep. Spelt «s» «l» «e» «e» «p». And I said «don’t most people sleep?» and she said «no you sleep now?». I thought the whole thing was strange.
I am removing one star for «good job but not fab» and another for the wierd comment but overall its an ok place.

Nice and comfortable. The lady took her time doing my eyebrows, it didnt hurt at all. Im giving it a three star because she didnt shape my brows exactly how i wanted them. (straight and no arch). She also missed afew spots. But the overall experience was good. It was like i was getting my brows threaded at home.

My go-​to eyebrow place. It’s clean, convenient and my eyebrows always look great afterward. I used to go to a place in Brookline that would spend less than 5 minutes on you. Both women who I’ve had have taken their time and used a tweezer if they couldn’t get everything with the string. They let you check each brow with a mirror and offer aloe at the end. The only thing missing is a student discount, but still well worth the price. If you live in the Brookline/​Brighton area, go here.

Let me start by saying the place is clean, well lit, easy to find parking, small and cozy. It stops there.
I normally go to the threading place in the arsenal mall, but I figure I’d give this place a shot since it’s closer to my house. Bad idea. The Indian girl I had was very rough. So rough that my head kept jerking every time she went to thread, and the string broke 3 – 4 times. I thought my eyelids were going to split in half. Once done she did not offer me any aloe vera or a hand mirror, so I just do a quick look in the mirror ahead of me and from a far looks decent. It wasn’t until I got home and realized she hacked off a section of my eye brows, and trimmed the left one so short that I had stubs. I can usually spy a good thread job by how clean my eyelids were, but there were so many black stubbles. Clearly a sign of hair breakage. That is how freaking rough she was. Do yourself a favor and do not come here.

The woman who did my eyebrows was fantastic! I barely felt anything, which is a feat because my eyebrows are so thick. Service was quick and she was very courteous (including not answering the phone while doing my eyebrows.) One star off because the price seems a little steep.

Wasn’t too thrilled with my first experience. I’ve gotten my eyebrows done at a few different places over the years and never has anyone been so rough while threading. Not only did was it incredibly painful during but my eyebrows were red after as well (as am Indian that doesn’t happen to very frequently). She also didn’t shape them identically. One eyebrow was a little thicker than the other and she wasn’t quite able to correct it.
Based on other reviews it seems like I might have to give it another go with the Asian lady.

This place is fantastic IF you have the ASIAN lady doing the threading. She is very nice, polite, detail oriented, and does exactly what you say. She’s absolutely fantastic and shows you one eyebrow after she is done before moving on. I’ve been to her 3x and love her.
HOWEVER, IF you have the INDIAN lady… be careful. She is very hard and rough when it comes to threading. My head kept being shoved to one side. I’ve never had my eyebrows hurt AFTER threading (only sometimes during) except this one time. I also told her to keep the shape and THICKNESS b/​c im growing it out. She ended up giving me much thinner eyebrows. They still look good (since i used to have thinner eyebrows), BUT I had specifically requested thicker eyebrows and just a clean up. If someone else comes in wanting thick and leaves with thin, they may be really pissed. She also doesn’t show you one eyebrow before she’s done. She’ll just do her thing and ask you if you want aloe.
So, seriously awesome place. Go with the asian lady :)

My eyebrow shape was messed up big time before I decided to try the threading for the first time ever at this location with Sila! Sila is great! she really listens to you and does a good shape. She keeps the thickness if you ask her too, and she can correct your eyebrows! I will go back there in 4 weeks!

This place just opened in Brighton. I usually get my brows waxed but decided to give threading a shot. They’re running a 25% off special for their opening with brows costing $ 9. The woman that works there is incredibly friendly. Everything is very sanitary and my eyebrows came out great. I’m definitely a convert now and will be coming back in the future.
