What’s a girl to do when she somehow misplaced the stem from her fancy-​ass hookah? Go to Kang.
He shuffled around the shop for a good ten minutes trying different spare hookah parts he had lying about. None of them fit perfectly (he’d never seen the model of hookah I had in the States. When I told him a friend had brought it back from Lebanon he was duly impressed and told me it was a very beautiful and nice hookah. Compliments will garner you 5 star reviews). We eventually found a stem we could jerry rig in time for my Moroccan soirée. And he didn’t even charge me for it.
I do wish he carried smaller shisha boxes. The two I bought were ginormous. But a truly small complaint for such a nice little shop.
Oh, and the boyfriend says that during his undergrad years he could buy whippits here without getting the stink eye. For whatever that’s worth. If that’s your thing. Or whatever.

This place is everything everyone says. I got everything I needed for under $ 100 that’s including a nice hookah and everything to go with it. Drove from quincy just to go here and would do it again. Kang himself is awesome he knows his stuff.

Man oh man! I’m a kid from Randolph, but I would commute here 10 out of 10 times for anything tobacco/​hookah related!
They have a large selection of shisha! They have brands such as Al Fakher, Starbuzz, Hookah Hookah, Romman, etc! They have pretty much any flavor you could want in 50g and 250g packages!
They also sell hookahs for relatively cheap prices (below 100 most definitely). I asked the worker at the time and he clarified that they only sell those standard mya hoses as far as hoses go.
Aside from the hookahs and shisha they sell coals and bowls. The bowls were all regular egyptian bowls or multi-​headed egyptian bowls. Sadly no Phunnels or Vortexes. They have large and small 3 King Quick Lights and CHECK IT OUT! COCONARA NAT COALS?! I can’t believe they actually sell these aha! I saw a 108 pack and oh an did it please me.
Other than all the hookah stuff, I saw cigars (which I don’t know too much about) and grinders for weed. This place… It’s hookah heaven baby. I will visit again shortly! I mean, It’s nice to avoid delivery costs, you know?

Kang is extremely friendly, and has a wide variety of hookah tobacco products. Excellent prices on everything in the store. Don’t let its appearances fool you, this is a great shop.

This place is great. Very small place but they have everything and they don’t overcharge.

Wow! You guys weren’t lying when you said this place was teeny! Indeed it is but there are so many things packed into this little place. There were about 3 or 4 glass cases full of different shisha’s (YAY!!) pretty much my reason for going here. The cheapest shisha are 2.50 for 50grams. The most expensive were 6.98 for 50grams i believe. not quite sure but i think the brand must be popular. Wasn’t in my budget this particular day so i bought 1 pineapple flavor (which smells like prunes or fig newtons… weird) and 1 mango which smells pretty damn good, and like mango’s lol.
I’ve heard that coco nara are the best coals to get so i bought 16 pieces for 3.98 which i don’t think is so bad for my small hookah, but may be a rip off to others with big hookahs because the pieces are small. (idk i’m new to this hookah thing haha)
The guy told me he had no hookah foils which was okay and i asked him if i could use regular aluminium foil. Not sure what he said exactly but I would summarize it as a no. bummer :(
I would definitely recommend this place because i live in boston, not cambridge or where ever else sells hookah’s and hookah products and items here are priced very fair.

Best place for hookah supplies i’ve found in Boston so far. They have a great selection of shisha (starbuzz, al fakhar, hookah hookah, etc) and they are the only place i’ve been able to find coco nara coals. Reasonably priced for Boston too. Definitely a place to check out if you live near Back Bay!

This is where 15-​year-​old me bought my Djarums and One-​hitters when I was studying at New England Conservatory. Oh, and bajas. Remember bajas? You probably don’t. You little whippersnapper.

I got a really nice hookah there for only $ 50. They have a lot of tobacco products, cigarettes, shisha, papers, pipe tobacco, lighters, and some other things. My only wish is that they carried more shisha that wasn’t fruity.

Kangs corner was a blast of a time! I am always looking for new spots to go and buy items for my «tobacco» smoking. (^_​^) haha Alright let me cut the BS this is a great store to come to if ur an avid tobacco smoker and/​or a pothead. When i first came in it seemed like there was going to be no variety. WRONG! The windows are Filled with items and youll find yourself lost looking for that item you just saw. The guy Kang is cool, hes kinda weird in the sense that when he agrees with u he jus keeps saying, «aight, aight, aight, aight,…etc…» I was like ALL-​RIGHT! Lol neway had a fun time and will go back!

Pot and hookah smokers rejoice. However, true tobacco lovers need to venture out to L.J. Piretti’s across from the Four Seasons or Cigar Masters on Boylston to sit and smoke.
Piretti’s blends their own pipe tobacco. And don’t even get me started on cigars-​every Kang’s cigar I have ever smoked has been dried out. These guys need to get a better humidor. Don’t even think about blowing 7 – 20 dollars on a smoke here, go a few t stops further down.
However, if you are looking for a hookah or need some cigarettes in the Northeastern area I see some appeal here, It is kooky, and they used to make lighters with pictures of their customers on them. It was always fun to find a friend in the box.

I’ve been going to Kang’s for years.
Back when he sold pipes I asked if he sold any one hitters (or «bats» I guess) and he berated me. To be fair, this was when we was starting to get rid of all that stuff. He told me he’d never sell any type of trashy paraphernalia like that.
Then he sold me three boxes of whip cream cartridges, and has ever since.

This place is great. I stop by here almost every night for a pack, and the cashiers are pretty friendly.
Cigarettes aren’t cheap in Boston, but you get pretty decent prices here. They also sell pipes, shisha, coals for hookah, rolling papers, cigars, etc. Plus you get a free lighter with every pack of cigarettes you buy =)

Kang’s Corner! For some strange reason beyond me, I love this kooky shop and its equally kooky owner.
Kang is such a weird guy, but he is funny and nice. Plus, he gives you free lighters with each purchase.
His shop has a very big selection of cigarettes, both domestic and imported, as well as rolling papers, sheesha, and other smoking goodies to fulfill your needs.
As far as tobacco shops are concerned, Kang’s is up there, check it out.

One star because Kang’s is now closed. 314 Newbury is up for lease and there’s no sign about Kang’s having moved anywhere else.
I tried Sugar Daddy’s in Kenmore. It’s fine. Not awesome, but not too sucky. Remember the marked price is usually 40−50% higher than what they’ll actually take for a piece.

I’ve always been a big fan of this place. The first time I stopped in was to pick up a pack of cigarettes on my way back from the bars on Newbury. The guy working at the time was extremely courteous and hooked me up with free lighters (as Sean mentioned). As far as hookah sales go, I don’t know if I’d purchase a hookah from here, but then again I don’t think hookahs are sold at reasonable prices ANYWHERE in Boston. If you’re looking for a hookah I recommend you check ebay or craiglist, much better prices. They tend to mark up the prices of exotic smoking paraphenelia like that around the city.
For all of your other smoking needs, this is definitely a good place to stop at. It’s location is convenient and the staff is friendly.

This place is very strange; the storefront looks like any old convenience store. A different story emerges when one descends into to store. On the left hundreds of cedes for all kinds of plants, in front rolling papers come in more varieties than I ever knew, and in the back sits two dozen hookahs all as the salesman says «imported from Egypt». Have a look on Newbury lane.
