I was hanging out at a friends house when we both got hungry and she suggested this place. We had to go to the grocery store so on our way back we decided to do take out. I called ahead with the food orders. I have never been to this restaurant before and I will not be returning. When you first walk in, it’s a bit overwhelming. On the glass window it makes sure you know that there is surveillance and police presence, It gave me an uneasy feeling. There weren’t any customers eating or taking food out when I arrived or when I left. When I walked up to the window the guy was friendly and asked what I ordered, I have both orders, paid and went back to the car. When we got home both orders were wrong — my friend doesn’t eat pork and her plate was filled with bones less spareribs when she ordered chicken wings and my plate had prob fried rice with ribs even though I ordered shrimp fried rice and beef teriyaki. With all the issues we called back and were rudely told they were too busy to give me the correct plate or refund me the money. Neither of us will return due to the extremely poor customer service for an error they caused and did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation.

Decent hood spot. Not the greatest but def., not the worst. The spicey wings are good. But they have to be well done for me to eat them. I order the same plate everytime. Shrimp fried rice, beef terriyaki, lobster sauce and boneless ribs. Sometimes a side of egg foo young This is old skool chinese food. Stuff I grew up eating. Service nit the best but I dont’t expect that here.

I love Chinese food, it’s my favorite cuisine. But I only get ONE thing from here, chicken teriyaki. I tried a lot of apps from here: spare ribs, beef teriyaki, chicken wings, chicken fingers, rice, egg rolls, all nasty. I’ve literally gone to other Chinese restaurants, bought food, and came here just for their teriyaki chicken. I never order here and wait, I call and pick it up. The ambiance is crappy and there’s always someone loitering either inside or in front of the restaurant. No place to sit, it’s not like you would want to anyway. When they are«busy» they will have you on hold forever too.

26 y.o. F AABOS native Placed an order for delivery and I would say the overall experience was just average. For starters, I don’t understand the former negative reviews on customer service. I never expect anything beyond sub-par customer service or common decency from many Asian owned establishments… especially those in neighborhoods where they exploit the very residents that give them business. But I digress… typical rude service, but expected. As for the food. I placed my order over the phone on a Thursday evening after receiving a menu in the mail. They said 45min but it was prob not more than 30 before we received our food. Ordered: Small boneless spareribs — the highlight! These were amazing and I haven’t had a good order of spareribs from a «fast food» «Chinese» restaurant in a while. My fiancé said they were«the tits» Small chicken wings– nothing spectacular. They tasted like every other decent wings from every other fast food Chinese restaurant. To this day though, I don’t understand why these people don’t do a better job cleaning their chicken. Spicy chicken wings– I was disappointed. My fiancé said they left more to be desired. Not very spicy(and we love spicy food… we’re Matouks and Tabasco type of couple). I personally thought the wings were too salty as well. They were just ok… nothing I’d order again. For less than 23(including tax and delivery fee) my overall experience was just ok. I wouldn’t order from Oriental anytime soon unless it was a complete last resort(don’t feel like driving, past 1030pm, and I’m under heavy influence). Note they only take cash… which also doesn’t surprise me.

There is only one item that I usually order, which is the spicy chicken. Tonight I ventured out and ordered their house rice and of course spicy wings, for delivery. I do not normally have cash and they are«cash only» I always pick up. Delivery was quick and the house rice was ok, I don’t normally see big prices of green bell peppers in house rice, but hey it wasn’t too bad. Overall there just ok.

Got their flier in the mail. Thought I would give it a try and went to go pay and they don’t take credit cards. what place doesn’t take credit cards these days. On top of that they were just plain rude when I just asked why they didn’t. Stay away. there are other places who actually want your business.

Oy! Never again. We received a nice menu with coupons in our mailbox with claims of «Best Chinese Food in Boston!» so we thought we’d give it a try. We live 5 minutes away from the restaurant. After more than one hour and 3 phone calls, we still didn’t have an estimate of when our food would arrive. The food did eventually arrive, but the coupons on the flier weren’t honored. We didn’t accept the food, so unfortunately I can’t review the food… but after all of that, and a rude delivery person, we’re not trying them again.

This review is based on the service only: After we received a take-out menu in the mail, we decided to give this place a shot and order a few late night appetizers. Unfortunately, the lady taking our order over the phone was extremely rude and snappy. We had to spell out everything, even the word«road” — while she was giving us attitude about it– but whatever, patience is a virtue, right? Wrong. She gave us even more attitude after we asked for the total and explained we had a coupon. In the end, after putting up with all of this, we never even got our food as we wanted to pay by card but were told that it’s CASHONLY– before simply being hung up on. Rude, Rude, Rude!!! Won’t even give the menu a second look after this awful experience.
