Saint’s Diner

Fry bake and salt fish is yummy at this little diner. I could eat their food everyday and delicious rotis and dinner plates too. the lady that owns the place is really nice. Will definitly go back …

Oh my gosh if I could give this place zero stars I would. One day, my friend wanted a fried fish patty so she said she could get them there, so I went with her. She ordered what she wanted, but then when we were waiting we noticed that there was a ROACH crawling all over the counter! I nearly died…
yup, we didn’t even bother getting the food, we just walked out.

We had to walk by this place a couple times 1) to make sure it was open and 2) to make sure we wanted to go in. The place itself is what I would call a dive. A little sketchy actually. Then why, a 4 star rating you say? The food is amazing here! As I peered into the case for the days selections, I was at a loss. I really didn’t know what I was looking at, so I asked the nice man behind the counter. He told me that the special of the day was the Oxtail Stew. I was a little hesitant at first, but if that was his mama’s special of the day… I wanted to try it. IT WAS DELICIOUS! Had the Rice and Peas along with some Caliloo (Spinache) and I had myself a nice little lunch.
As I have stated in a recent post about another island type restaurant. If you are coming here for a five star romantic dinner… turn around. But if you wanted a quick, delicious island style lunch or dinner… Saint’s is your place.
