Getting a «coffee» that is 96% ice is frustrating to begin with. Taking the cup of ice back(After 4 sips of coffee and it being gone) and asking for a drink with less ice and feeling judged is just poor costumer service. To be having a conversation with a friend standing at the other window, and receiving a poor explanation to why I got a cup full of ice and feeling as if I should not stand up for myself when I feel I have been cheated is just uncomfortable. I will never choose to buy coffee here.

I started getting coffee here when I moved into my apartment nearby about a month ago. My husband ordered me white coffee by accident and I’ve never ordered anything other ever since! Triple white mocha with white coffee is my favorite! Also, the service is great and the girls are very nice.

I’ve been getting my mochas from Java Junkie for almost two years now and don’t intend on trying any other place. Occasionally I’ll go there before work around 5AM but mostly the wife and I walk the dogs there on the weekend and get our drinks and the dogs get there treats. The prices are average and the baristas are very friendly and experienced at getting your drink just the way you like it. I’ve been told by a few of them that the owners are great to work for and had the opportunity to talk with one of them for a while one day. Although I miss Heather and hope that she’ll come back, the rest of the crew are fantastic as well. The gals there try hard to remember your name and your drink preference and they do a great job.

I’ll admit, I’m a bit of a cheapwad. The thought of driving thru a coffee stand and handing over my(hard-earned) money for one drink sometimes makes me cringe, and especially if the said drink is disgusting. Now, I use to be a barista and still occassionally make espresso drinks at my current job, so I have high standards for my coffee when I order one. And the lovely ladies at Java Junkie never disappoint me. The staff here are super friendly and always chat you up the right amount(you know how some baristas kinda just go on and on and on… and you haven’t even had coffee yet… yknow.) Also, I was at the mall one day and one of the baristas recognized me and said hello, that made me smile… and realize I might go here a bit much, but oh well. But I can attest that they make a tasty double tall white chocolate mocha with no whip :)

It’s actually called Java Junkie. But since Don snagged the first and has already reported the change to Unilocal,I’ll let that slide. I haven’t visited this latte stand in years. It was once a regular stop when I lived a bit north and was travelling back and forth to mom’s or other other Bothell desitnations. I think even the name and the owners have changed since then. But the service and drink quality hasn’t. A wonderful mocha breve, and at a scant $ 3, one of the cheapest available in these parts. Yay! I’m a fan!
