Burgamot fruit cocktails with Sam, incredible new taste! Karen hates my drink I love hers so I get to drink both, good for me! The fruit is endangered and delicious and lowers cholesterol, I feel healthier already! We also ate the incredible farm to table carrots so more health, I may grow another inch. Plus the candy bar desert,(there goes the extra inch) Darn!

Nice and cozy place to have a drink or dinner with a friend. It’s the second time that I have been at this place and both time I was pleasantly surprised with the food we had and the drinks. Beer selection could be enhanced and served from the tap instead of an aluminum can…

Wonderful, amazing and charming! Went for a quick date night and the food was great. I loved how the kitchen was the center of action. The appetizers were great as was the entrée. The chef menu was very reasonably priced. We will visit again and again!

I love the warm, cosy atmosphere at Bramble and Hare. The old piano by the door makes me smile, and the chairs have all sorts of plush textures. Food and drink was also superb and casual enough to keep with the homey, comfortable vibe. We thoroughly enjoyed the Welsh Rarebit(Ask! It’s not what you think it is) and the Mac and Cheese as well as two cleverly named house coctails!

Lovely cozy atmosphere and yummy eats. It is a gem hidden away and easier to get a table then other places on pearl. Will be going back :)

I was skeptical of Bramble & Hare when I first saw the place and their logo which is a ripoff of the famous Lapin Agile Cabaret in Montmartre, Paris. Stealing such an iconic image takes balls and you better live up to to the reference less look like a total tool. Needless to say, this is a real deal local place for amazing cocktails, and good food(especially the late night bar bites). If you happen to come in when Griffin is mixing drinks, you are in for a treat. He is truly a master barman — both in knowledge and craft. I have to admit, I haven’t had the prefix menu yet and I can’t comment on the table service but 5 stars are deserved because in my egotistical opinion, they do exactly what they set out to do — and very well at that.

Super cozy restaurant. All of their food is farm to table. Every part of the three course pre-fixed menu was delicious, especially the mac and cheese!

Took a group of five here tonight. A gem in Boulder. Drinks: might be the highlight here. They have a ‘we serve what we think is the best just trust us’ and you should just trust them and take the ride. Food: three course meal for $ 29 is fantastic. Food is fresh and from their farm. Between all of us at the table we ordered every entrée and were passing back and forth bites to share, but also to brag. The curry potato dish had apple, onion and garlic that just was perfectly seasoned. Portions are not huge, but there are restaurants for that if you want a buffet. Desert was Panna Cotta for me and I kinda want to just go back for that, well, and the whole experience. Décor: unique décor with that Alice in Wonderland feel. Feels like from the other reviews they have been hit or miss for some guests… but right now they are on. Go and raise a glass to the gem that is Bramble & Hare.

I don’t know how I haven’t written a review on Bramble yet. It’s a hidden gem and my bread n’ butter when I want a nice meal on pearl street. I really wish they opened early for brunch sometimes, but hey, you can’t have your cake and eat it too. This place has the ambience of a steampunk lounge. Like the movie Casablanca, but edgier. It makes me feel like I’m eating and drinking first class on the Titanic. Not that Titanic is a metaphor for our society or anything… Ha. Anyways, the staff are punctual, friendly(without bugging you every 10 minutes), and my food has always come out in a reasonable amount of time. I think they’ve found the perfect middle ground between service and hospitality. They’re all well-dressed and work their freshly ironed designer pants off, but you get the impression that they’re all friends just trying to have fun and pass the time — after all, if you’re going to work in the service industry, you might as well have fun doing it. To me, that’s the most important part about a restaurant besides the food. I can’t stand going somewhere where it seems like the staff aren’t enjoying themselves. I also feel just as comfortable coming here in a death metal t-shirt and my ballin’ ass nikes as I do with a collared shirt and tie. Last I had heard, they’re expanding their farm in east Boulder, going to have some actual rabbit meat on the menu soon(in keeping with the name), so I assume the food is only going to get better! I know«eat local» is horrendously cliché and trendy in Boulder, but it’s nice knowing my money is going to people whom I respect. Speaking of food, since it’s a farm to table restaurant, the menu changes on a seasonal basis. I’m pretty sure it also changes throughout the course of their business hours, too. The dishes are affordable on an individual basis and the portion sizes are sane, so you can try a little bit of everything without feeling like a whale that just chomped its way through the great pacific garbage patch after the fact. The cocktails alone are worth coming in for. Griffin is the most talented, passionate, and creative bartender I’ve ever met, and it shows in the cocktail menu. He’s always experimenting and brainstorming new ideas for drinks. The other bartenders deserve credit too, but he’s the godfather«intoxicologist» and HBIC. There are drinks here you simply can’t find anywhere else, they’re not cheap but I always feel like my money is well spent. And if you’re a recovering alcoholic, fear not! He can still concoct a crafty cocktail to tickle your tender teetotaler tastebuds and make you feel like a cross between Chuck Norris and Sean Connery back when he used to be James Bond. Griff, I at least owe you a positive review for buying me a drink last time I came in and was having a horrible day. Not to mention all the times you’ve listened to me endlessly vent and given me advice about… Well, you know. In conclusion, this spot is the perfect place to take someone on a date. Classy, but not pretentious. Well, maybe a little pretentious, but it’s well earned ;-) The staff look like hipsters at first glance but they’re actually really down-to-earth — how is that possible?! Coolest little hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Boulder, and completely unique. I respect the opinion of anyone who has written a negative review, but I’ve been here dozens of times and have never had a bad experience.

Pretentious service, overpriced food and drink. Does B&H truly understand hospitality? Get out of the kitchen chef, your staff is giving you a very bad name!

The bramble and hare staff are happy to let you in late and give you a bill, but that’s where the service stops. My party had drink orders taken, but drinks didn’t come out for a solid 20 minutes. The waitress skipped over my order entirely after letting me know that my first choice wasn’t available. I flagged someone else down to order something else, but when it didn’t come out with the other orders, I had to ask to have it taken off the bill. After the long wait, we had maybe 15 minutes with our drinks before drinks were physically removed from people’s hands as «5 minutes» was being verbally reiterated within our hearing. As we complained that we were unaware of the rules and still had four minutes either way, multiple servers said to our faces that they didn’t care if they had misled or upset us with the lack of service. If they couldn’t reasonably serve us, we should not have been admitted. Other bars close early to avoid treating people poorly and ensuring a good experience. They clearly just wanted our money and didn’t care about anything else. There are plenty of places that care about customers and more than their take on one night… those are the places I’ll go in the future. I look forward to visiting whatever replaces B&H when they inevitably shut down.

Nice little place. They have an awesome and extensive wine list. When our server couldn’t find a certain bottle we wanted, he searched for a similar one and it ended up being great. Everyone seemed to have quite a bit of knowledge of wine. The apps were pretty good — we ordered deviled eggs and the Welsh rarebit. The Welsh rarebit was probably the best thing we ate all night. For everything else, I think it was just alright. My entrée(pork over creamy polenta) could have used a little more seasoning. My friend’s gnocchi was pretty good. The vanilla pudding I had for dessert was also just alright. Seems like this place makes more sense to just order cocktails and appetizers instead of a full-blown dinner.

Fantastic drinks, but a high school attitude. Some of the staff are amazing, but others just take down the whole ambience. I don’t want to hear about who you’re sleeping with or the drama associated with it. I’m there to enjoy some stellar booze and a grilled cheese sandwich. If you’re not sitting at the bar, you’ll probably REALLY enjoy this place.

I stopped in for dinner on my own one evening and had a couple of small plates(their cheese plate, the deviled eggs, and fritters), they were good. They were good — I’d go back and try their 3 course dinner option. I also had the panna cotta dessert, absolutely delicious. The Bartender was great and quick to offer suggestions, which I personally love. He also made a mean cocktail and recommended an awesome followup glass of wine. I’ll be going back.

3.5* — in otherwords, I enjoyed my time here, but I’m not a «fan» and won’t be stalking them out for another try immediately. We came with a fairly large group — was a bit difficult getting a seat. Eventually everything was straightened out, but it resulted in multiple requests for water, plates, utensils, etc for everyone. Food was good, although smaller portions. My DH’s chicken was a bit red still near the bone. Drinks were good as well, although the bartender is very friendly so ask for something if you want an unusual option. Even for happy hour, prices are a bit high. Bathroom is cool, giant scale! Overall, another«artisanal» «craft» «local» «farm to table» Boulder place that should be on your list to try for yourself, but not sure it really rockets up to the top of mine.
