I am an artist and photographer from the east coast now based in Boulder, CO. I specialize in natural relaxed portraiture — especially flattering images of older women, studio photography of jewelry, 2-​D copy work of paintings, collages, and images up to 4 ft wide. I have skills in documenting performances and events.

Business Owner

Paula Gillen is a specialist in art and photography. She has 20 years of experience working in NYC as a photo editor and photo researcher for publications such as The New Yorker, Business Week, Time, Vanity Fair and People magazines before moving to Boulder in 2008. She is skilled at copy work of flat art for print or web reproduction. She previously worked as a photographer in the museum photo dept of the Art Institute of Chicago. Paula is skilled at photo retouching, relaxed flattering portraits, jewelry photography, and documenting events and performances.
