Our family has worked with photographer Kim twice, and both times have been very enjoyable. The first time, we did a Mother-​Daughter session in Larimer Square. Kim was very creative and met us in a cute popcorn shop in the area and the popcorn helped my daughter (almost 2 years old at the time) warm up to the situation. We took a short stroll to a few other locations and Kim made pose suggestions and simply went with the flow, and captured what naturally followed.
More recently, we asked Kim to take some family photos, with my husband, our two kids, and my in-​laws at Daniel’s Park in Highlands Ranch. I wanted my parents-​in-​law to have some nice photos with their grandkids and knew that Kim would work with us. She is really great with kids… she managed to get both my kids (age 2.5 and 1) to look at the camera, AT THE SAME TIME! I love our photos and can’t wait to get them printed so I can put them up in our home! Thank you Kim!

Kim (along with her husband Aaron) photographed my wedding in 2009. They traveled to the Grand Lake area for us. My wedding photography was everything I hoped it would be and more. It was extremely personal, and I feel that our personalities and the overall feeling of our wedding day is communicated superbly through the photographs.
We recently hired Kim again to do a family session of our now family of 4 — with two kids under 3! Kim was patient and encouraging. She let moments unfold from the way our family naturally interacts together. The time she spent with us was a good duration, but she was also very efficient — which is really important with toddlers!
In both cases I had few ideas about exactly what I wanted, and Kim came ready with ideas. She’s also very accepting of input, and that combination makes her really phenomenal to work with. Time spent with Kim is very easy and natural. Her packages deliver very good value for the money, and the fact that you share full rights to your photos (and receive all digital copies) is a HUGE selling point.
We will definitely be repeat customers (again)!

I hired Kim Adamson for my wedding, I could not have made a better choice! She was amazing! We spoke several times before the event to make sure we both had a feel for what I wanted.
I wanted candid shots with very little posing. She was amazing you did not really even know she was there. She showed a great amount of care and professionalism. We started our wedding an hour late (limo issues, that review to come), hence we were keeping her from her next appointment. Instead of shorting us
(which I totally would have understood, not her fault the limo messed up) she called and explained the situation to her next client and asked if she could push back. She stayed with us as long as she could getting some great shots at the reception as well.
A few days after the wedding our website was up, I was floored by the photos they were amazing and so beautiful! About a week later we recieved our CD’s with rights to all our images. I was just expecting a CD, but no it was a very cute CD book with our picture printed on it and cute choice photos printed on the CDs. What a wonderful touch!
I would highly recommend Kim for any event!
