We specialize in men’s grooming services, everything from clipper cuts, African-​American haircuts, tapers, fades and military cuts to beard trims and straight razor shaves. Enjoy a game of darts, relax in front of our tv, or play Xbox 360 while you wait. It’s a man’s world at S & G Classic.

History

Established in 2013.

A brother shop to local favorite Silver & Gold Barbers and Stylists, S & G Classic offers the same quality service one has come to expect from the Silver & Gold family in a traditional barbershop setting. We wanted to create not just the style and technique of classic barbering, but the feel and experience of an old school barbershop. Thanks to our barbers Joe, Austin and Carrie, we have done just that. All our barbers have years of experience in traditional barbering and S & G Classic is just what the name implies, a classic barbershop that remains true to the spirit of the original barbershops.

Hi, I’m Laurie, owner of S & G Classic. My parents opened a barbershop before I was born, so I literally grew up in the business and have always had a love and respect for traditional barbering. I have fond memories of getting the Tootsie Pops from the basket, wondering where the stripes went as the red, white and blue barber pole spun outside and playing on the barber chairs. To a child pumping the chairs as high as they could go and spinning them quickly around as they glided to the floor was like an amusement park ride, much to the dismay of my Father who tried in vain to keep me off them. Following in my Father’s footsteps, I began cutting hair in the early eighties. I now focus primarily on administration, but cut when I can at our original shop, Silver & Gold Barbers and Stylists. Barbering is a huge part of my life and our family history. I am honored and proud to continue the tradition at S & G Classic Barbershop.
