Wasn’t expecting much from a mall Sbarro. Staff was friendly, but the pizza tasted off. Toppings were fine. There was something odd about the dough. Maybe undercooked? Wouldn’t recommend.

«The meeting isn’t ’til three, but I always like to come to New York little bit early and hit some of my favorite hunts, like right here, is my favorite New York pizza joint. And I’m gonna go get me a New York slice.» — Michael Scott

I honestly thought Blaze Pizza might put this place out of business, but I have to say, I prefer Sbarro. There are times just a slice of pizza and a breadstick is all I want. It’s quicker, and honestly, I found the people a tad bit friendlier. Is it the best pizza on the planet? No. But they have enough side options and other items besides pizza to keep most people happy. They are also pretty quick. Even though they always heat the slice in the over for a minute or two, it never seems that long. Plus often have mini-breadstick samples to give you while you wait.

Their Stromboli is good. Dont take the combo, I fell into the trap of one of the women server there and ordered a combo with a drink. Drink was full of ice, 2 sips and gone! and the pasta was very bad.

This morning the worker kept gossiping with other worker climbing over counters and sitting down. Went next door to Charlie’s instead since they were too busy talking.

I stopped by this place in the food court after a job interview to grab a quick bite with a friend. The sample of garlic bread was good, so I decided to give it a try. As soon as the FIVE employees they had standing behind the counter noticed I was looking at their menu, I just started getting different suggestions from each person on the line ATTHESAMETIME. All raising their voices at once trying to talk over each other. I just kept hearing: «TWOPICESOFPIZZAAND A DRINKFORFIVEDOLLARS» «YOUCANCHOOSEONEOFTHESESIDESANDGARLICBREAD» «WHATKINDOFPIZZADOYOUWANT» «MAMWHATKINDOFPIZZAFORYOURMEAL?» «MAMAREYOUREADYTOORDER» No, no, no! Too overwhelming! I finally took about ten steps backwards from where I had been standing in order to hear my own thoughts! Once chose my order and sat down, I realized that my pizza was luke warm, my breadstick was wet because it had been sweating for so long the foil it was in, and my pasta barely had any flavor. I would’t suggest this place to anyone who can’t make decisions under pressure!

$ 8 for old baked ziti and 2 meatballs? That’s expensive. And the baked ziti was so old it was mushy and just fell apart if you touch it. Avoid

Their pizza was cold and the quality was terrible. My wife and I ended up throwing it in the trash. I know it’s hard to find great pizza outside of New York and Chicago, but this place has to be one of Cali’s worst spots. It’s really disappointing knowing there are some good Sbarro’s out there.

I’ve been to several Sbarros over the years, some good, some bad, but this one was the worst. I had the stuffed pizza with a side of a meatball, yup just one. The Meatball, which they told me would be delicious, tasted like they’d been made by chef boyardee. Now I’ve had the suffed pizza from other Sbarros, but this one served it to me cold and dripping in grease. So again folks, save your money and eat somewhere else in the food court.

when I was 10 years old my mom would always to go Sbarro’s for me so I can eat it for dinner. She was such a busy lady that by the time she got back the sauce was all soaked into the pasta. But I still loved it and enjoyed the food. Now coming back here after all these years, I have a little bit of mixed feelings about this place. Yes the food still till this day does taste the same. But something is changing. The service is slower be it because just not enough people feel like working at Sbarros. But I have to say this one located inside Brea Mall takes a really long time to get what you want. The food is also a little bit on the expensive side. I ordered a baked ziti here and I got pretty much what they had left. The pasta tasted alright. I would come here only if I was shopping in the mall and was really lazy to go anywhere else.

This has got to be hands down the worst Sbarro I’ve every been to. When your side dishes are far more appetizing than the actual pizzas, you’re doing something wrong — very, very wrong. The pizzas were way too soggy to even eat. Although they were freshly baked, they were definitely not baked long enough. The Caesar salad was the worst I’ve ever had. I mean, who screws up Caesar Salad?! The only thing worth mentioning was the meat balls and the fountain soda. Yes, I mentioned the fountain soda. I’m surprised they didn’t screw that up.

This place has such bad reviews but it is one of my favorite pizza places! It is kind of expensive for one dang slice but worth it in my opinion. I do not go to the mall often but when I do I make sure to get a slice. This might sound gross but I love the greasy, cheesy, yummy pepperoni! I’m eating a pizza which is unhealthy to begin with so I don’t see the need to try and make it «healthier». It’s pizza what do you expect! I can not find another place that serves the same kind of pizza. Pizza Hut and Dominoes all have the same taste to me and do not taste anything like Sbarros. Costco is my second favorite because it is cheap but still no where near the same taste. I have also had their veggie salad they offer(the one with the yummy tomatoes). mm mm. I’m hungry now…

Sbarro’s is comfort food at it’s finest for a teen! A slice of Sbarro’s pizza or a Sbarro’s calzone with a side salad made me happy as a teen. The mall food court has always been home to a Sbarro’s, an Orange Julius or a Hot Dog On A Stick… The food court is the clubhouse and hang out for a subculture of goths, hip-hoppers, and emo brats! Growing up in the suburbs, were else are you gonna find sustenance then at the food court, while you hang out with your crew. You order a slice of pizza from Sbarro’s and silence the hunger grawls inside your tummy. Sbarro’s is the shigitz!
