110 Green Street

I decided to sit down and write this review after I’ve packed my entire apartment into trash bags, which are piled high in my living room. For the second time this year.
Bed Bugs.
I was told «this is the first time I’ve ever heard of Bed Bugs» by our super Max. I was embarrassed that I had brought them into the building until I had met a woman laundering her shoes in the laundry room. She was from the A tower, and me from the B. She was told the same thing by Max. She was also told not to tell anyone else about her infestation. She had bed bugs too.
We have since found out that there have been a handful of cases of Bed Bugs this month that the management is trying it’s hardest to keep from the tenants. They don’t want to spend the money on a thorough building inspection, so what is the sense in buying any new furniture? We have looked into breaking our lease, and the others I’ve spoken to about their bed bug issues are all in line. There is in extreme lack of integrity in the system here. I haven’t even received so much as a «sorry for your troubles» response to over 6 emails I’ve written to Harry and Latif the «building managers» asking for a break on the rent due to all the money I’ve spent trying to fix this bed bug issue, the days I had to take off from work and the furniture I had to throw away.
This is only the top of the iceberg. Then there was the A/​C meltdown — when our unit did not have cool air the majority of the summer — it just started working 2 weeks ago.
We were so excited to move into this luxury building, but 110 Green St. has turned out to be an extreme disappointment, not to mention a waste of money.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. Unless you want to pay a boatload of money for broken amenities.
This is the worst management I have ever dealt with in my life. The building has a beautiful façade that soon crumbles to show its hideousness.
I have lived here a year and the elevator to my 5^th floor apartment has been down numerous times (for weeks at a time). The air conditioning was down during the hottest weeks of the summer, in which the management sent no formal apology, just acknowledging the «inconvenience». The super seems to be one of the only people who actually care about their tenants, and he can only help so many people per day.
The management does not know how to deal with people.
I can’t wait to move out. Such a waste of money.

110 Green St has all the bells and whistles of a great building. Having lived here for three years we did have to put up with a lot; from Elevators being broken down to trash and bottles being thrown at us from the roof on to our balcony to amenities being closed for months on end (game room) there was a lot wrong with this building.
I would however say most of these problems stem from the previous management company and their inability to correct problems or make long term repairs.
Unfortunately for the new management they are just learning that you can give a building a face-​lift but changing its bones is difficult. I would say the new management company here has been reasonable, fair and responsive. They clearly communicate to their residents and put actions in place when things do go wrong. I would also say they are putting the money into the infrastructure to improve the overall quality of life for its residents.
The new building manager Gloria is a true help and willing to work with you on your issues. They have taken appropriate actions when needed (front door personal) and have been very responsive to inquires.
The biggest asset the building has right now is its supper Max. He’s very knowledge and handy as a super should be but definitely goes above and beyond to help with any and all issue. His entire staff is great and is always willing to help even if that means helping you lift something heavy.
We were sad to be moving just when 110 was getting its act together. The biggest pros to the building; convenience to transit, amenities and its view. Cons: still needs to work some infrastructure issues out, especially the elevators.

Formerly known as The Viridian. Recently sold to a new landlord and now with a new management company but it’s the same old, same old problems. There’s only 1 elevator in each of the 3 buildings so when they break down every few months for often weeks at a time, tenants have to walk up the stairs.
I had to contact the Attorney General’s Office to get my full security deposit back. There were erroneous charges (double charged for electricity, parking and supposed «repairs» to my apt) tacked on and I was ignored by Harry Hastings and Patty of the Management Office despite my multiple emails.
Whoever thinks they are being billed incorrectly, please file a complaint with the Att’y General’s Office so that they can launch an investigation against The Management Office to stop this behavior. A legitimate and reputable company does not ignore past or present tenants.
