Amazing Eyebrows

Can never go wrong with these ladies! Inder and Pam are great, attentive and precise with my big eyebrows! Love this place and won’t change it for the world. pS, they are open on Sundays!

A perfect threading salon: I didn’t have to wait, it was painless and super fast, and for $ 6 for brows, you cannot beat the price.

Went to this salon after reading the wonderful Unilocal reviews about it. The process was very quick and I believe the woman did a great job on my eyebrow shape. The salon was fairly clean and well-​kept. However, the women there were not particularly friendly. No one said hello or smiled at any point during the visit. The woman was also fairly sloppy, accidentally pulling out some of my real hair and leaving wax along my hairline. The price was cheap ($ 8) but the service was subpar.

Inder is the best eyebrow lady everrrrr! I’m from Miami, and needed a new spot in Brooklyn (where I recently moved to) she didn’t bother to mess up my brows, what she did do was clean them up and made them look perfect.
they give you a card and on your 10^th visit you get a free eyebrow threading, pretty cool!

I’ve been coming to amazing eyebrows for a few years. The staff rotate through but I try to stick to my lady Inder. She always does my brows just how I like them.

I have been coming to this place for some time now. Inda is excellent but Pam always seems to have an attitude. I never let her do anything for me. She seems unhappy to be there. BTW I have also been serviced by the owner of the shop who is superpleasant and accommodating. Unfortunately she is never there anymore. Maybe if she comes by more often Pam will change her attitude towards customers.

I have been coming to this place for the past 3 years. At first I always left a happy customer. They use to be friendly and do my eyebrows with love. Took their time and made them beautiful. Now they rush, skip steps and are rude. They ask for a tip every time. And if you tip and its with a credit or debit card they get mad. And ask for cash. I feel like when I go I’m unconvincing them. Once I asked to get a henna done and the lady was so angry about me wanting to get it done. First off it’s expensive like $ 30 for a palm sized henna and it’s advertised on their menu. So what’s the big deal I don’t understand. Anyways I’m never going here again. Sucks because I had high hopes for this place. I would not recommend any one to go here.

I went in to shape up my eyebrows and the lady was so sweet. I noticed articles from the New York Times up on the wall saying she was the absolute best in Williamsburg. I work around here so I don’t usually come here to do my eyebrows, but I will definitely start making this my new spot. Usually after not threading for a while it hurts, but she was so gentle and I could barely feel it!

The salon is small cute and very clean ! Great customer service and great results on threading eyebrows. I tried eyebrow tinting today and I think I’m obsessed ! You get a card and they sign it after every service and when you reach your 9^th signature you get your next thread, wax etc free I love this place highly recommend

I went after work hoping that they’d be able to squeeze me in on my way home, and there was only 1 other person ahead of me so it was pretty quick.
They did a great job with eyebrow threading. Also for waxing they offer a wax option for sensitive skin, which is great. Fairly painless (as much as hair removal can be…). And it’s really cheap!

I used to think amazing eyebrows was amazing, however my last visits over the past six months have been short of even close to amazing. The women are very rude and aggressive with their threading. Yesterday the girl (who seemed new) was carelessly threading my eyebrows and was using thread that was so long she pulled out two of my eyelashes in her aggressive threading. When she showed me my eyebrows one eye brow was uneven with another which I pointed out and she fixed. I didn’t realize until after I left that she completely threaded the end of my left eyebrow off and it’s much shorter than the right. I don’t care if it’s only $ 6, these women clearly don’t care and do a hasty, half complete job. I will not be returning there.

They have 4 chairs, came in on a Monday around 6:30 and there was only one other lady in here. Not sure if they are usually that quite.
Anywho…the eyebrow part. Inder did a fantastic job with giving my thin dull eyebrows a nice thick look. 5 stars!!! I’ll be seeing her every other Monday.

I have never written a bad review, I like to think that some times people just have bad days or maybe my perception of that day may be a bit off. However, after this experience I know that it is uniquely awful and a reflection of how far gone this place has become.
I have been coming to this place for nearly 3 years now, and I am typically met with graciousness and respect. Today, I was yet again given the unfortunate luck of having Pam do my eyebrows. She was immediately hostile towards me, which was strange, I had acted or done nothing out of the ordering — just my usually hello, smile, and request for just the eyebrows and upper lip. Shortly after sitting down she aggressively went at my eyebrows, and after asking me to hold my lids she then yelled and said «You’re holding your eyes like that, don’t be mad at me if you complain because of the pain.» I had said absolutely nothing to receive this sort of comment. What was she talking about? I never complained of pain? If I was holding them wrong, why wouldn’t she tell me? Why was she talking to me like this? Then when it came to my upper lip, it was nothing short of a someone ripping at my hairs and skin with thread. After, she did not even offer aloe. My upper lip remained red for nearly an hour.
It was easily the worst experience I have ever had at a beauty salon.
I tipped her anyways and left quickly, though when I finally looked in a mirror and saw what she had done, I was horrified! She had thinned them out! I have been coming here for 3 years, she had done my eyebrows in the past, YET she thinned them out like this? I will never let this horrible woman touch my eyebrows again. I did not deserve that sort of treatment, and neither should anyone else. You should be ashamed at yourself for treating customers like this.

This place sucks, there used to be a nice lady here named Shaba and the last few times I have been in there and she isn’t there I ask of where she has gone and they say vacation. Gosh lucky Shaba she must have saved all her tips for a 6 month vacation! I was too lazy to go to my regular waxing spot last night and went here instead. i was kept waiting for half an hour. WHen it finally got around to my turn the therapist asked if I could wait whilst she did 3 eyebrow threadings before my waxing. That was it, I walked out and I will never EVER step foot in this place again.

Used to come to this place all the time until I realized they were messing up my eyebrows more so than helping me.
I used to do my eyebrows really thin (oh gosh why did no one stop me?!). The ladies would complain they were too thin but I didn’t care. Eventually it got to the point where they only looked nice after they were done.
I met Anastasia Soare at Sephora and she told me that thicker eyebrows would look much better on my face. After she worked her magic, I saw the difference and wow! It was amazing. She told me that my arch was almost gone and I’d have to grow my eyebrows out completely to get it back. She mentioned it could have been done by over-​threading.
Now I stick to other places, but the ladies here have always been nice to me.

They’ve greatly improved their professionalism and they open on time now! Super fast and painless wax and they will listen if you dictate the shape of your brow.

Went there because of the positive reviews. They did a shit job like every other store in the amazing eyebrows chain (made eyebrows super flat). It was very dirty. They apparently never cleaned the chairs nor have the materials to clean them. I asked them to clean it; they made a haphazard attempt of putting hand sanitizer on a Kleenex and revealed a lot of brown dirt and she only did ¹⁄₈ of the chair. Not coming back.

Nothing is more horrifying for a brown girl than getting your eyebrows messed up at a new threading salon. Inder did a fab job and kept these babies in shape– and she was so fast/​not too painful.
So glad I can trust a spot so close to home, without having to trek to Jackson Heights.

For me, this place was far from «Amazing», and I will not be back –ever. After reading all the fantastic reviews, it looked like a perfect place to try after just moving into the neighborhood from San Francisco. My right eyebrow looks just fine, but my left eyebrow, What the hell happened to it?! Half of it is gone. There is a sharply drastic line, and then pretty much nothing. I looked in the mirror and asked, «what happened?!» The person who threaded said it was my eyebrows and nothing she did. Hey, I came in with two eyebrows so I’m not buying that excuse. She said I’d have to pencil it in for a bit –ya’think?!
Never, ever, ever… EVER again.
