Staff are very friendly, facilities are clean, lots of Essie and Gelish colors. They don’t work with acrylic here and won’t be able to remove acrylic nails if you come here.

Went here for a last minute service and they were wonderful!

Magda is amazing! I recommend her to anybody that wants to get a facial or waxing. She is quick, efficient and causes no pain. 5 stars!

You must see Anya for your bikini waxes. She has such a great demeanor and is so good at what she does. Although no waxing is ever painless– she makes it as easy and comfortable as possible. She also does her best to make sure she sees and fits in all of her clients. Can’t say enough good things about her and Freckle. Love, love!!!

I went in for the first time after reading some Unilocal reviews. I must say this place is fantastic. The place is clean and cozy. I had a manicure which they did a fantastic job by Delia. I also did a French bikini with hard wax. The girl is fantastic and makes you feel comfortable. I can’t recall her name however she is the only that does the hard wax. The overall atmosphere is great. Will def go again. Thank you

Freckle is great. The staff is super friendly and I’ve never had trouble getting an appointment. The work is always superb, and they have great coffee! I’ve had manicures, pedicures, «spa» mani/​pedis, and gel done — no complaints yet.
Definitely make an appointment, because they rarely seem to have more than one or max two people doing nails at a time.

Alexandra did a great job, and I have small difficult nails to paint. I definitely recommend her!

Face it — I am a Freckle groupie
No where else do I get hot tea or coffee during pedicures. Everything is super clean. The quality of work is so high and the color choices are broad.
But the number one reason why I love this place… THE WONDERFUL TEAM! They always make sure you are comfortable and relaxed.

Big fan. Huge fan. Wooed by their adorable website and reasonable pricing, I have been waiting for a day off to pop up to this Greenpoint spot. Why can’t all salons list their prices online, and why can’t all salons be so wonderful?
I went for the nail services: French gel mani and regular pedi. I had no idea this place would be so Polish and so perfect! It’s quaint, but not twee, and unintentionally Brooklyn. They offer a limitless selection of polishes — Essie, Zoya, CND Vinylux — and such hospitality. I was called by name, offered tea/​coffee/​sparkling water, and consulted on my services at every step. The French gel application was maybe a 3.5 — tips not totally even, a bubble or two — but did last a solid two weeks without chipping. Pedi was a 5! This salon is definitely my new favorite!

Came here for a brazilian. It was a great experience. The technician was quick and comforting. This wasn’t my first brazilian wax but it was one of the easiest ones to endure! Considering making this my staple place to go for my Brazilians. Great price as well! !

I know you guys were holding your breath to see if this would really «definitely be my new place for waxing.» I’m pleased to announce that I’ve been going here for 2 ½ years now and it’s still everything I’ve ever dreamed of. Ania is the best.

I had moved from Oakland and was looking for a waxing spot that wasn’t one of the really cheap, maybe not so clean nail spots on the one hand, or a fancy, expensive waxing chain on the other. I love Freckle, and want to add to the chorus of praise for Anya. She is truly skilled and gave me an almost painless, thorough and very fast deep bikini, butt and upper leg wax. Friendly, funny and professional as well. Prices are great and the salon is cute. I’m going to make it my regular spot.

There were a lot of things I really liked about this salon. It’s cozy, just 3 mani stations and 2 for the pedi. There are no fancy tricked out pedi chairs but I still felt comfortable and pampered.
I went in after seeing all the great reviews since I was in the area and the receptionist told me it would be a ½ hour wait for a mani pedi. No problem. Because it’s small and they seem to have a loyal customer following I had no problem waiting a bit instead of trying a few of the nearby places.
I loved the huge variety of colors and brands, and especially that they carry Zoya polishes which are some of my favorites (they tend to apply very well and last), but you don’t see them in salons very often.
I got a really thorough but efficient basic mani-​pedi. I was amazed at how quickly she worked and both my fingers and toes looked gorgeous after. Especially since my fingers had a pastel pistachio color that can sometimes apply streakily in the wrong hands. But nope, I got a flawless application. I stayed a bit longer to do an extra drying cycle because I didn’t want to mess up the beautiful work I just had done.
I’m giving it 3 stars because after only two days both the polish on my fingers and toes started chipping within 2 days. For fingers it’s not that unexpected, even though I wasn’t very active during that time. I was really surprised the toenail polish began chipping, since I’ve had good pedis that last 10 – 14 days unblemished and even longer and I thought the one I got at Freckle would be in the longer-​lasting category.
If I’m in the neighborhood I might try Freckle again because I walked out feeling great and my nails did look incredible from the start. It was just really disappointing that it lasted barely 48 hours.

Your search for the perfect bikini wax is over. Anya is unbelievably nice, accommodating, professional– and her waxing is thorough, fast, and as painless as they come. She’s the absolute best.
Don’t forget to bring cash for a tip, and treat yourself to a Peter Pan doughnut afterword.

After not getting a wax in over a year in a half I decided to give freckle a chance after reading the reviews and my manager ravings about it. Anya did not only make me feel comfortable but made the procedure quick and less painful than any wax I’ve ever received. She really does have the best hands ever lol. A wax will always hurt but the pain was bearable and not as excruciating as others I’ve experienced. I will be going to her for all my waxes. I had her do my eyebrows and they look great. Marta gave me pedicure and gel manicure which was one of the best I’ve ever received. I never know what color I should do and Marta took out a few colors and helped me find a color and was nice enough to show me how they each look. Great service all around!
Book ahead since its a small business but believe me you won’t regret it!!!

Brazilian Wax is the most unpleasant and painful waxing experience a women has to go thru. i come across this place about a year ago and this is it. The lady that does the waxing is very pleasant.
Let’s begin who wants to get half naked in front of a stranger– (yes I know it is probably a lot easier if we where intoxicated but that can’t be done) She makes me feel like if we are just talking over coffee. The pain is bearable– not like the other places i went to before. I love the fact that she has a full on conversation and doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable for one second that you are.
I also had the pleasure of meeting the other lady that works there (since my lady was on vacation) she was good too but I just like the original and I can’t imagine changing.
The price is not bad; $ 35 plus tax.

I live in Bushwick and even so, this will be my new place.
I got a Brazilian wax and and eyebrow wax, and although getting hair ripped out of your body is bound to be unpleasant, the pain was less than usual. Being naked from the waist down in front of a stranger is also unpleasant but the technician carried on conversation as if my chooch wasn’t hanging out there and I felt a little more comfortable.
It cost 47 for both, which isn’t too bad. The salon was clean and the staff was nice.

The space was a lot smaller and more sparse than I’d imagined, with only two pedi stations, but the technicians are very warm and seem thorough in their service. There were, as I understand from my observations, a number of returning or regular clients that afternoon, which is always an indication of business done well.
I went in for a spa pedicure (about $ 37) and was matched with Annette who had lovely smiling eyes and who immediately set me up with some chamomile tea before starting. She carefully administered all the elements of their spa pedicure — which were typical of spa pedis at any other salon I’ve been to – and was strong in scrubbing my heels, which are pretty awful this time of the year.
The salon is close to the Nassau station on the G line. It was a bit of a distance for me (walked from Williamsburg, commuted from Manhattan) but in the end I’m glad I put my money in an honest neighborhood salon where I didn’t feel rushed or overlooked.
Their nail polish selection includes Essie, Zoya, RGB, and Floss Gloss with two or three Deborah Lippmann choices. Will definitely return when I find myself in Brooklyn again, esp for waxing services which seemed popular during my visit.

I was willing to try this place but when I came in they were busy. So the receptionist told me the wait would be twenty minutes. No problem because I just went to spa and this wasn’t planned.
The receptionist is nice but too timid, she nice but the need to fix that. She should be more in control of her station and more aware of what client relations is all about.
She took my number and said incase she needs go call me.
I decided to go to the store to kill time…
No call came
So she. I returned half hour later instead. The nail Tec looked mad that I had gel nails. Why ?
If this is such a tedious task, the receptionist should filter out the gels from the one day manicure clients. It’s a time when 3 out of 5 women have gel nails. And those that don’t, wish they did.
So basically the nail tec took someone else while I was gone and didn’t have time to soak off. First of all i don’t soak. If you have the proper products you should use gel remover sleeve or use foil like the bootlegged places… at least. That takes ten minutes.
Don’t mind any misspellings as I am in the hot sun now searching for another nail salon after walking all the way to the polish side to go to this one. I could of stayed on Manhattan ave.
To think I wanted to get a pedicure manicure and even give the wax a go. They just lost that $ 130 plus I tip very well.
