Bath Animal Hospital will celebrate it’s Grand Opening November of 2010. It is a full service companion animal hospital located in the Bath Beach area, Brooklyn, New York. We provide comprehensive veterinary care, including complete medical, surgical and dental care services, preventative medicine, dietary and behavior consultations. Bath Beach Hospital is committed to the highest level of veterinary care for every patient. Individualized, compassionate care is the cornerstone of our practice. Our veterinarian Dr. Eduard Lutanskiy takes the time with each patient to deliver individualized preventive care to promote lifelong health for our patients.

Since client education is critical to the lasting health of our animal friends, we will spend as much time as needed to ensure complete understanding for all owners. Finally, we strive to provide an accommodating, comfortable atmosphere for patients and owners.

I went to that hospital just cause if good Unilocal reviews. But got disappointed. All the doctor wanted was money. He didn’t care about my cat, all he was pushing me to do more tests, blood work. He said– you understand that I can’t touch her without those tests. I’m into my cat be healthy, but hate when people think you are stupid. I just made phone calls to another vets, guess what– prices at this place are way more expensive and nobody required those tests to be able to touch my cat. Very very very upset!!! WON’T RECOMMEND TO ANYONE

From setting up the appointment to the follow up after the visit, I can only give this vet clinic 5 stars.
The appointment was super easy to schedule since there hours are as convenient as it gets. The staff is friendly and called a day before as a reminder. There was no wait, I was able to see Dr. Lutanskiy almost right away. He and his staff are very patient and took good care of my 50lbs dog. After the full check up we talked about preventative treatments (heartworm, ticks, etc.) and other potential issues. I liked that Dr. Lutanskiy preferred to give less medication in general, and only as much as was needed for specific treatment. He gave me plenty of freebies to try for the dog, since it was our first vet visit since I got her. The cost of the medication prescribed, as well as the visit itself was very reasonable. Dr. Lutanskiy also made sure I understood how to administer the medication and was available for any questions I had afterwards. He even called a week later to check on my dog.
This place is at least worth a visit, I know that I will be making it my primary care for my dog.

I dont really write Unilocal reviews often but I went to this place because of the other Unilocal reviews so hopefully this helps you the reader make a decision when looking for a great vet. First off the facility is CLEAN. Didn’t smell like pets at all. Staff was friendly and helpful. The doctor was very thorough and knowledgable and took his time explaining things to me. They had to take blood from my cat and he called with the results later that day which I felt was really thoughtful. He even followed up with me today (the next day) so they really go above and beyond. Prices were pretty standard vet process so I cant complain about that. Dr L even threw in some hairball remedies and other goodies for free. All in all a great experience and I think i found the best vet in the area.

I am very surprised by Angela’s review. It is probably some misunderstanding there. I have very different experience with Dr. Lutanskiy.
My cat Mucha was very sick .with diarrhea. I saw several vets here in Chicago, she had multiple labs, procedures and medications, but she was not getting any better. I spent a lot of money on vets bills. My New York friends advised me to call Dr. Lutanskiy and ask for phone consult. I am so glad that I did. Doctor asked me in all details about cat’s symptoms, he told me what could be a problem, he discussed special diet and where to buy this food. He volunteered to call prescription to Chicago pharmacy. He spent more than 30 minutes talking to me. I followed his treatment plan and the cat completely recovered in few days. I am so grateful to this wonderful Doctor

I’ve been here a few times since I got my new Violet Point Siamese kitten a few weeks ago. The vet, Dr. Lutanskiy, is very nice, attentive (he’s not rushing you out the door), and knowledgeable. He was gentle with my kitten. Gave her her 1st set of shots, cleaned her ears and prescribed an eye ointment for a respiratory illness/​cold that she had along with supplements (which he gave me a bunch of for free!!). It totally worked!!! She didn’t have to take any other medicines (oral antibiotics) and is doing wonderfully now! I really like it here and will definitely keep him as Tilly’s vet. The staff is ok… They could be a little more genuinely personable but at this point, my happiness with the vet is all that matters. Standard/​slightly below prices. One time office fee of $ 45 paid in the first visit (at least this is my understanding right now). Parking can be a little hard to find if you drive like me. But, I always manage to find at least one spot. The office is clean and I never have to wait long. Don’t know if it is because of the days/​times that I go which is during the week and in the morning. If you can go at that time, I highly recommend it! I would only imagine that it gets busier on the weekends/​weeknights.

I needed a Vet right away and after looking online and comparing reviews i decided to give this place a try (even though i know some reviews on the internet are faked). When i called at 9 am the doctor himself (Dr. Eduard Lutanskiy) picked up and at first he said he doesn’t have availability since his office was open only for 2 hours but then he asked if it’s an emergency. It was, since my dog was limping and in pain. He made an exception and said to come in. His staff was super friendly. The gentleman at the front desk and the doctor’s assistant showed my dog a lot of attention and love (even kissed her). The Doctor was knowledgeable and friendly. He showed he cared and i didn’t feel rushed. He was gentle with my dog. He didn’t act arrogant or cold when i was concerned with cost. His prices were very reasonable (unlike any other places i have gone to before). I am so happy i have found this Doctor. My dog went in this office in pain and came out walking. I recommend this place with no reservations.
UPDATE: The Doctor has called me with the blood work results and he has called a few times to see how my dog is doing. AWESOME!!!

Information is power! Dr. Lutanskiy is not only very well informed, but he takes the time and has the patience to ensure you have the knowledge you need to make the best choices for your beloved pet. In addition, he is friendly, compassionate and straightforward. The hospital staff is a plus! The pricing is very fair and the hours are fabulous. I was impressed by the follow-​up which made me feel better while nursing my very sick kitty back to heath. Treatment was spot on for what to me seemed like a complicated set of circumstances. I have had several experiences with Dr. Lutanskiy, and each one has been nothing but very positive. He is extremely attentive, organized and professional. He has never rushed a single visit and has each time taken time to ask questions as well as offer indepth explanations to raised concerns. His office is very clean and well-​organized. After I had taken my kitten to have a procedure done, Dr. Lutansky followed up for three days afterward with me to ensure my kitten was alright and assured me I can call anytime if any concerns or questions should arise. I highly recommend this doctor not only as a professional but also because of his approachability and patience.

Excellent, THOROUGH vet. Knows his stuff, is straightforward and focused on your pet. Tells you up front what you’re looking at cost-​wise, what can’t wait and what can. Has a very friendly, experienced staff who is obviously well-​versed in handling pets. The doctor explains things completely, asks a lot of questions, doesn’t shrug off your concerns. Shows you everything in detail (maybe more than I wanted to know, lol) … just really thorough and honest about what’s going on. Clean and spacious waiting room, again, unlike a lot of other vets. It was not ‘low-​cost’, but the low-​cost vet would have killed my cat if I’d let him do his teeth, as this doctor found out he had asthma and wouldn’t put him under until he was 100% sure that he’d be able to tolerate the surgery. So you might not save a lot of money, but you won’t have a dead pet, which is worth infinitely more. This is now my cat’s vet.
Edited to add: He’s called me twice at home to check on my pet’s progress since my visit. That speaks for itself.
Edited 5⁄15: Brought back my cat is he’s so well cared for here and the doctor works with me for what tests he needs/​what I can afford. My senior cat is healthier and happier than ever.
