Going out on a total whim, and wanting to treat myself to a mani/​pedi, I decided to call quick before stopping by. The girl that answered the phone said to come now, so I did.
Marabel is a total sweetheart! She did my manicure and pedicure for Valentine’s Day on a Thursday afternoon. Luckily for me, the place was dead (thanks Polar Vortex!). The heat was pumping, and the atmosphere was very sophisticated; I felt like I was in an upscale salon in the city! The Korean staff was very friendly, and Marabel went right down to business with my pedicure first. She was chatty and bubbly; a real pleasure! She was thorough cutting my cuticles and cleaning the red polish from around the nails to make them flawless.
When she set me up to dry, much to my surprise, she gave me quick dry drops! I was thrilled! Mani/​pedi for $ 20?! I will see you soon!

I got a full acrylic set on ¹²⁄₂₃ and by ¹²⁄₂₉ four nails have already broken off. What a waste of money since they should have lasted 3 weeks. I also didn’t appreciate that the woman who did my nails & pedicure rushed through everything. I’d definitely stay away and use your money elsewhere. I only ended up here cause my usual spot was closed for the holiday.

After reading all the good reviews from my fellow Unilocalers i decided to walk to this place (and its a good 20 min walk from my apt).
I was greeted by the nice staff (all ladies are very friendly and the atmoshere is relaxed and not rushed like in some salons).The services are standard– mani, pedi, waxing etc. Mani+Pedi is $ 19, they charge you $ 20 if you pay with a card. I never felt rushed or like they were talking about me (which if you frequent nail salons you must have experienced at least once lol) and the end result is super nice. I will be coming back to this salon, even though its a hike, its totally worth it.
I am definetly staying away from the 18^th ave salons that look sooo dirty.

Bay Ridge Nails is your reliable local nail salon and the manicures are always very good. Can’t remember how much the pedi was because it’s been a while since I had one but they did an excellent job on that as well.
The women are all very nice and friendly and the place is very clean. If you want a 10 minute back massage, they can do it in the back where it is a little quieter and definitely worth treating yourself too.

This nail salon isn’t my regular spot but I have been here on occasion. This is a very nice, clean nail salon. The place is well run and everyone there is very friendly. The prices are affordable too. They offer the usual types of services manicures, pedicure, waxing and more.

For the best in nail care head over to Bayridge Nail Salon in the friendly Italian neighborhood of Dyker Heights. Upon entering this classy salon you will be greeted by all the ladies who work here. This is a busy salon, but you don’t have to make an appointment to be seen. They offer the usual treatments, manicure, pedicure, acrylic, silk wraps, permanent french, gel manicure and spa/​paraffin pedicure. They also offer waxing from eyebrows to full leg. The staff are very friendly and all very good at what they do.
OK now for prices, so affordable. A manicure and pedicure together costs 19.00. Separately the manicure is 7 and the pedicure is 15. A bargain to do both, your feet and hands will thank you. The place is clean and cozy, especially if you have to wait, they have magazines to read and big comfy chairs to sit in. They do the waxing in a private room and really take the time to make sure that you are pleased. I have very sensitive skin, so I let them know to blow on the wax before the apply it to my eyebrows.
I have spent many weekends here at Bayridge Nail salon and am happy I found it. Its reasonable, clean, friendly and keeps me coming back for more.
