Insanely great service and reasonable prices! My front tire had a flat and had to be replaced, and I also had to adjust the back wheel because it was skimming on the brakes, and these guys fixed everything for me super quickly and charged a very affordable price, and also made some other adjustments for me free of charge. They’re also open during non-​business hours (late at night until 8pm and also on Sunday) which makes it very convenient.

When I walked in here I was relieved to not be approached by a tall white guy with a patchy stink beard and oversized unprescribed glasses. The people are completely friendly and the price was right, they even gave me a small discount. If you’re looking for a bicycle shop that’s unpretentious and honest, this is the place to go.

I live close by this shop and I’m glad I do. They will take care of you here, whether you just need some tubes or a brand new bike. They have an amazing selection of cycles, tools and wheel sets that I like to drool over every time I walk in. They even had the Giro d’Italia on which made me stick around a while longer on one of my previous visits. These guys know what’s up. Take your ride here!
Tip: They will be closed on Jewish holiday’s and such so check your calendar or call ahead.

Love this place. It all about service. Lots of bike stores just want your money, but they don’t realize good service is repeat service. Trust I repeat All pros no cons

The first time I came to CH Cycles was right before they were closing and they seemed a bit rushed so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I dropped my bike off for a simple gear adjustment and tire inflation. Turns out the tire was indeed flat and they called to make sure I wanted it repaired.
When I returned, they had even tightened my kickstand for no charge — It’s the little things that show they care :). Just make sure you make it to the shop before 2pm on Fridays and they are close on Saturdays.

My husband and daughter went to the bike shop to get my daughter bike seat adjusted and to put air in her tire. The gentleman working There showed my husband how to do it and didn’t charge him a thing! I am completely satisfied and would recommend this store to anyone! They are also very kid friendly

My bike seat was stolen from me and these guys helped me get back on the road. I came with a seat I had purchased online and they installed a seat post, rigged a little seat lock, and sent me on my merry way.
Great service. Fair price.

Just bought my second bike here, a fixie! Great service even while they need to help tons of ppl at once.
They now have a newly renovated upstairs showroom for the pro cyclist that includes a Retul fitting system and many other pro needs from energy bars to carbon wheels.
It’s great to have a reliable local bike shop.

I have bought bikes for several of my kid’s here. They have always been helpful and polite. The best part… anytime there has been an issue (like a loose pedal, or the tire needing air), we just go right back and they service it with a smile. Doesn’t matter how many times, they stand by their products. They have a great selection too, bikes and scooters.

Unfortunately both my tires developed flats. After I took my bike elsewhere they told me that the previous place had put the wrong size tubes in! So when I pumped them up after they had been sitting out the bad weather, the edge of the valve pressed against the metal rim until it cut through. They put the wrong size tubes in both? Who does that? super annoying.

I came here as emergency because my bike caught a flat. I also just happened to have purchased a Groupon. I called up & was told to bring my bike over. I rode past this place so many times & did not even realize there was a bike shop there. Note: it’ on the second floor & you will have to carry your bike upstairs for repairs. Ok. No biggie.
The Groupon was $ 25 for $ 50. I figured I would use the Groupon to get the flat fixed. After I was quoted the price of the repair, I was also advised that I had to use the total amount of the Groupon in one visit, which was more then the price of the repair. So, I started looking around for something that would cover the difference. The repair was roughly $ 16. As I looked around the store, I noticed that there was nothing in there that was under $ 35! The lights, pumps, headlights. all over priced. The guy behind the counter kept trying to convince me to purchase a $ 50 hand pump, even though I had my own hand pump with me.
Long story short, I ended up using my bank card to pay the $ 16. I didn’t use the Groupon.
I turned my back while my card was swiped but I heard it. When I turned my head around he was swiping it again. The store clerk stated «the receipt is printing upside down». I thought nothing of it.
The following day I got a phone call from VISA notifying me of a possible fraud on my my account. I contacted my bank. Lo & behold there is a transaction for over $ 400 that I did not authorize on my account. Needless to say I had to cancel the card, wait for the new one, & blah blah blah. The money was deducted & now I am fighting to get it back.
That was the first time I had gone there. I had not used my cc anywhere that I had not been to a thousand times before that would magically pick me to commit an act of fraud.
No, I’m not accusing anyone but I already know. If it’s yellow & it quacks its a damn duck. Be WARY

They’re the opposite of most bike shops. If you bring them a weird bike, they say, «This might take a while.» Not, «We don’t work on those.» Not «I don’t know why you’d ride one of those.» Just, «This might take a while.» And they have videos of old Tour de Frances for you to watch while they work on it.
I live in Crown Heights, and before I found out about CH, I used to ride to Prospect Heights or Bed-​Stuy to stores that were not as good. It was a waste. If you live in or near Crown Heights, just go to CH Cycles. It’s not just a good location– it’s also better than many of the other shops you’ll find.

Had my bike shipped here to be re-​assembled — their attention to detail and eagerness for customer satisfaction are UN-​parallel. This will be my go-​to bike shop as long as I’m in the area

Great customer service and decent prices. I’m lucky to have this place as my local bike shop.

A friend of mine (a fellow cyclist) brought me over to CH Cycles to have a wheel straightened. For the price not only did they straighten the wheel, but they cleaned up the chain and gears, and tweaked a chain link which needed tweaking. When I told them that I’d be back some time for a full tune-​up, they were honest enough to tell me that I wouldn’t really need one for a while. I will be back though to pick us some essentials I’ve given away since I was last cycling on a regular basis.
